The director is not very friendly and seems to be only interested in holding events for their corporation and vendors versus paying attention to items within the facility. If the residents were fed the same food that they feed all the outside people who aren't paying, their food would be a lot better. Also handling medical emergencies seem to be a challenge. When an ambulance came to get my mother, they could not get the proper paperwork to send with her. This happened two times although I spoke with them after the first time, hopefully they've gotten that fixed. The Daily caretakers were excellent and very good about checking on their residents and very sweet to them. The facility itself being brand new is absolutely beautiful and anyone that visited. My mother always said that it was like a resort.

The staff is very caring and kind. Yes, we would recommend The Landing on Dundee Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.

Like most assisted living facilities be prepared for the med tech and care giver turnover. Prepare to visit often and talk to staff as much as possible. When deciding on an assisted living facility visit more than once before making a decision.

Heartis was assisted living and the overall experience was good. Good enough we would have left them there and just moved them into memory care. Sadly, the Heartis memory care facility is tiny, and could not accommodate them together in one room.

The caregivers are caring and professional. The facility is clean. I am disappointed that they are not pet-friendly and don't allow any pets in the facility. And I also wish they didn't have so many carbohydrates on the menu (most meals). Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with them.

If one is searching for a community for your loved one realistic expectations are a must. The 3 main "care abouts" are: food quality and wait staff. Assisted living: laundry being done in a timely fashion and not losing clothing. Garbage being taken care of promptly. Med techs responding to medication needs. Senior living industry thrives if they find good people to work in these facilities, hiring quality care takers requires that you can pay them adequately for an often arduous, thankless job.

Place is brand new! Many apartments have not been lived in yet. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

They do their best to keep the residents safe and healthy. I found the Director and her staff to be very supportive. The facility is very nice and clean. There's a courtyard to sit in if the weather permits. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Many of the residents sit at the entrance in the breezeway and greet you as you walk in. It's a good place to be and would highly recommend it.

What I love about this facility is their use of the spark program. It is the only model I found in Tyler that focuses on what residence can do rather than on what they have lost and can no longer do. The enrichment activities they provide are research based And are definitely designed to help residence retain the cognitive abilities they have.

It is shared rooms that didn't work for us. Mostly minimal care. Cannot recommend with good conscience . Limited memory care available in our area.

It has a full-time doctor there at the facility who specializes in Parkinson's disease. If you need to reach someone like a nurse or nurse's aide and no one is around, then go to the front desk and ask them to page someone for you. If the patient/resident is in a lot of pain and it's the weekend, Ask the nurse to call the resident doctor. He can help.

What we like the most about Arbor Oaks are the private room cleanliness of facility staff friendliness. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Adore the staff. Love the activities they are trying to engage their clients in. Love that they all, from the director on down, communicate with me. They are still working to get the kinks out of everything. The place is brand new. Want them to succeed.

The communication between staff has not been very good. We've called a few times to let staff know we were coming to get our loved one for dinner and yet they have taken our loved one down to dinner not knowing we had called. Staff is usually just sitting at nurse station without interacting or taking time to help those just standing around.

It's been a very good experience. We picked this community because of the location was close to our home. Rooms were large and I liked the outside area for memory care residents.

What we like the most about Callaway Gardens is the high quality of staff and continuity of staff (low turnover). They also bring in a doctor, dentist, and hair stylist. We would certainly recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

We're pretty happy over all. I feel like I have to to stay on them to make sure Mom gets what she needs. I leave notes to remind them to put her compression socks on her. The room temps are up and down and not as cool as they should be while the staff offices are perfect. The food gets the lowest rating as it's not all that good. I realize it needs to be somewhat bland for most of the residence. At the same time there is never a salad option offered only soup, every day.

I scouted this facility for my brother. The Director was welcoming. Her staff is very professional. This facility is clean and organized. Unfortunately, like most facilities throughout the country they are understaffed. Sometimes I call and no one answers. My brother is a partially paralyzed resident there says the care givers are kind and efficient. I find his room very messy when I visit. I am glad they take good care of him and so their messiness is secondary. I was not told during the interview process that they did not provide any furniture whatsoever, so we arrived to an empty room. [Name removed], this really wonderful manager was able to get furniture from somewhere in the facility to get him started. My brother says the food is really good. Apparently, some things they committed to, to make my decision, like physical therapy never happened he was never taught to use a bed board, since Hoya Lifts are not allowed. Now I am looking for another facility to handle his level of disability

Experience has been mostly good. Have had some trouble getting phone answered at times. They do a decent job of keeping track of things like clothes and shoes. But TV remote went missing and when brought a walker up they had different walker when we took her out for lunch. Not sure where the original one went.

After leaving [name removed], my sis & I were skeptic. We no longer are. Our mom is happy and laughs a lot. She gets a lot of attention. When she fell Sun, 6 staff members were attending quickly. Each was assigned a role. We went to ER and returned with kind concerns. It is like family! Family of patients know others and we all can pitch in showing loving care.
