This community was not only welcoming but professional and caring. Seemed as though everyone I met went above and beyond to get to know my family, We are excited to know this community is close by and what I had hoped it would be.

I slip off the 410 freeway (that's the one that will take me quickly anywhere I need to go later) and enter a hushed, relaxed neighborhood. Gliding along under a canopy of leafy trees (they're green year round), I've experienced an instant change of mood. This is my perfect introduction to the Inn at Los Patios. Entering the park-like setting, I find lofty green trees a year round joy. Nature has done the landscaping here; the garden staff at The Inn continually enhance it. I walk the inviting, airy colonnade to the dining room. I know I'll find that the food is excellent. The Inn's new culinary director has worked up menus to tempt any appetite. The view from the dining room is very peaceful, relaxing and inspiring. Can you see the squirrels, cardinals, doves and sparrows? There are deer on the property and I can find them sometimes in the mornings or evenings. In the winter, after the leaves fall, I can see The Inn's share of Solano Creek. I've seen a Great Blue Heron fishing in the pond where the fountain displays a soaring column of sparkling water. After dining, I can walk the delightful paved trail along the creek. My apartment balcony allows me to bring the outdoors indoors year-round. Other spacious apartments offer excellent views from all angles. I have my own squirrel in a tree outside my windows. I especially like the morning sun on my balcony. The North Star Mall is nearby for shopping and so in San Antonio International Airport, if I need to travel anywhere. The Inn's transportation staff will see that I am delivered promptly to my medical appointments and to nearby grocery shopping and local stores. The periodic delightful trips to nearby attractions, dining and cultural events nicely round out my life experience at The Inn at Los Patios.

Nice people and facilities. This just was not a good fit for my aunt.

There have been great improvements this year. Facility ideal for tenants with varying medical conditions, nice rooms wide and continuous hallways, and large roomie lounges for recreation and TVs. Great chef cooks three nutritious meals and shacks daily. Two spacious dining areas. Experienced nurse on premise/ or on call 24/7. Caregivers are exceptional for caring for tenants needs and willing to double over if needed. The executive director is experienced, progressive and welcomes suggestion and takes any complaints seriously, working toward a solutions. Some of the caregivers deserve special recognition

When I chose Washington Gardens, I hoped that my husband would walk again and then possibly come home for awhile. I did not know then that he would be placed in hospice after only 1 month, and would die a month later. With PT he was walking with a walker after only 10 days. We made several trips to restaurants and meetings. Staff practiced walking with him every day. He was a fall risk, so someone watched him all the time. Staff were so caring!! Not all places would keep people with hospice, so I was glad that I insisted on a place with hospice available. Lots of activities were available and he was able to participate some. Food and snacks were fine. The whole staff was wonderful! Night crew was great! It was easy to visit at all hours. There was adequate security for patients. Washington Gardens was a super place!

Everyone is absolutely fantastic at this center. I looked at many facilities and felt this one has everything my mom needed. She has been there for almost 6 now and I am even more convinced that this facility is perfect for her.

We have observed many good changes since the new management team was developed. Catalina Springs as a facility has gone from good to excellent. The activities have by far exceeded all expectations regardless of Patient Abilities. Overall care is delivered with compassion by experienced, knowledgeable caregivers. Plus emergency care and 1st responders are min away. Food services are great with patient needs and requests getting utmost consideration. Open-minded patient oriented professionals who are well organized.

Catalina Springs is an attractive and clean assisted-care facility with a great staff and management team that truly care about their residents. They provide a wide variety of daily activities and off-campus experiences. my mother feels welcome, cared for and safe at Catalina Springs and her family agrees! It's a great place!

Silverado has done an amazing job caring for my husband who is in the severe stage of Early-Onset ALZ. The entire staff ensures he is cared for at all times. We had to transition him 3 times before finding Silverado. A special "THANKS" to all of the incredible staff at Silverado!!!!!!!

My dad did not ultimately need placement in memory care, but if he ever does, this is where I would place him. The staff interacting with him were caring and respectful and the facility is warm and welcoming. During this challenging process they showed great compassion and kindness to our whole family.

My parents resided at the inn at los Patios. After much searching, I determined it was the best place in San Antonio for my parents. And I was absolutely right! I cannot give the Inn enough accolades. The staff are all friendly and more than helpful. The food is delicious and the physical setting is so beautiful and serene that you must see it to believe. I and my parents never experienced any problems. I highly recommend the Inn at los Patios and will be putting my name on their list for for the future.

Toured facility with [name removed], Exec. Dir. Nicely appointed common areas. Dining room with table cloths. Good menu options and extended dining times. Lots of on site activities and services, e.g. PT, OT, beauty shop, church services, exercise programs, special presentations and free van transportation. Nice each unit has its own balcony. Apartments very small (600 and 900 sq ft); no washer/dryer in unit. Attractive grounds with walking trails. Only an outdoor pool which gets hot in summer.

Living on the West Coast it is a great comfort to know the staff is eager to help if any concerns. My mother has always loved exercising but did it on her own and now she has a group. The Inn at Los Patios has the most amazing staff. Staff has remained very consistent from the chef, housekeepers, table servers, office staff, beauty shop and activities directory are upbeat, warm, helpful and competent. Los Patios seem to attract many people from professional backgrounds. Some places we looked at had an institutional feel. This one is more resort like in feeling. I have seen many people over the years becoming more confident and relaxed when they lived here. Most important this is a warm atmosphere. People reach out to teach other here and friendships seem to flourish. I was surprised when mother mentioned she feels safer here than she did living alone in a wonderful neighborhood that she loved for 17 years. Like she tells me there is no reasons to be lonely or bored here. All I have to do is step outside my door + join in the activities or I can enjoy some quiet solitude in my room. Mother & I greatly enjoy the natural setting with old graceful trees, the creek, wondering what wild life we will see today

A few years ago I drove a church bus to transport a group known as The Son Shine Singers to nursing homes and Independent living facilities here in San Antonio. Each time we came to The Inn at Los Patios, I would marvel at the beauty of the place and said that when I tired of maintaining my house and yard, the Inn was where I would like to live. Some 5 and 1/2 years ago we did just that and we have a beautiful two bedroom apartment where utilities, meals and many activities, a bus use for outings and grocery shopping. There are two sedans with drivers that will take you to doctors appointments etc. There are walking paths for those that like to walk and a beautiful dining room. If you are considering such a move, I urge you to come and visit all of us. [name removed]

I've worked on site for 5 years with residents; some who have lived there for many years. The Inn at Los Patios is a great place for your loved ones. The community is active and offers both independent living & assisted living options for seniors in a comfortable, private setting. You'll discover a beautiful community inside & out, with breathtaking views of trees, some friendly natural wild life near the salado creek. The staff is dedicated, compassionate & are committed to meeting the needs of their residents

The local is very pleasant. I have enjoyed the bus and individual transportation, the dining facility and the cleaning services. I have found the custodial, dining and executive staffs to be courteous and considerate. It is evident that they are dedicated to maintaining a quality of life for the residents.

I cannot imagine that my mother could have chosen a better, more friendly and caring place to live. She thouroughly enjoyed her nearly 15 years at the Inn where she lived both independently and briefly in assisted living. Over that time, and as consistent visitor to the Inn, I can easily say that with its lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff and excellent management, the Inn at Los Patios offers a superior senior living experience.

My husband has severe Alzheimer, although he can still walk and communicate somewhat. After having him in 2 of the most expensive memory care, each briefly, my daughter and I discovered paying more doesn’t guarantee the best services. About two years ago, I called Oak Hills and never looked back. Not only were they quite a bit less, the staff were friendly, but more importantly did their jobs above and beyond. [Removed], the Executive Director, excels at ensuring this facility and staff take excellent care of your loved one. It’s a co-ed locked facility and I can promise you, you can rest easy knowing your loved one is having more fun than you! Lots of activities from morning until night. I highly recommend it, and you will be very pleased. I am trusting my love one to their care with only gratefulness this facility is in Tyler. Please don’t place your family member anywhere until you’ve toured this facility first. And you’ll probably save quite a bit of money. There’s not one flat fee...they charge by levels So you won’t pay the same for severe as you do moderate.

Amazing but too expensive for us, especially since there are excellent alternatives.
