So far everything is good, and our loved one is doing well here. The staff are very loving, caring people, especially with the dementia patients. The facility has nice open areas for her to wander around, which she does a lot of. It's just a very pleasant place.

This community was a sterile environment. It just did not have the warm feeling to it. it was new and very clean it was just to open and did not give the right feeling for us.

Walnut Crossing could improve a little bit more on their care services, and the meals and dining. Overall our loved one is enjoying the meals, but our loved one gets a little confused because for lunch they serve dinner food, and for dinner they serve more lunch food, so the menu is switched up. Our loved one does not always choose to participate in the activities, but they have plenty going on. We really are encouraged by everything they offer, they have a nice library a movie theater, and they can go to the farmers market.

I would highly recommend the community to others. The staff is great to work with. The have a fair amount of activities during the week for my loved one. However, the activities on the weekend could be added to.

We chose Heritage Crossing because of the value for the money and it was a new facility. When we went to look around and tour they were very informative and we were impressed. The room sizes here a very good. I would recommend them to others.
