We are very pleased with Citadel Assisted Living, we have absolutely no complaints about anything! The staff are friendly and professional, the facility is clean and well kept, and the food is great! I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking into senior care in the area!

Citadel Assisted Living is a good community. My only issue is that my loved one was supposed to have someone shadow him when he first moved in, but that never happened. This is so important especially when an individual is new to the community. The food is basically good but my Dad is getting tired of chicken most of the time. The dining experience is well organized but a menu change is needed. I have had no billing issues to date. The staff is very efficient at what they do. They do take residents on outings and shopping.

We are totally happy about Brookdale, it's a nice place. She is well taken care of. She has participated in some of the entertainment and activities. We are very pleased with the facility, they have done everything that they needed to do. They have good nutritious food, but it's not always what she wants. They had the best deal going on that we saw. We liked that they had a courtyard that was open and also screened, so she could be safe but still go outside to see the birds.

It's really pretty there. Now my mom has a social life. I would recommend it. The staff is excellent, top of the list. They're 5 stars. It's very clean, the dining room is wonderful. The residents have a calendar to keep track of the activities. They have activities each hour. Mom is hardly ever in her room, she is always out and about. It's great.

We're very happy with this place, I would highly recommend them! They've got a real sense of caring about each of their residents, and you can tell the staff take a lot of personal interest both the physical and emotional well-being of the people that live here.

My parents have lived in Patriot Heights for nearly a year and are completely enjoying it! The food is very good; staff is friendly and attentive; neighbors are friendly; and there are a range of activities from cards, movies, and book clubs, to trying local restaurants, visiting museums, and 'mystery' trips (and much more). Sounds like there is always something going on and something for everyone's interests -- scheduling time to speak to them is now the biggest challenge, as they are frequently busy! It has been a very good fit

Well, when you drive up to the place and see the outside, there is nothing to write home about. But when you get inside, things are much nicer, especially the staff. I have been to several nursing homes and have been treated with complete disrespect by nurses and nurse assistants. That wasn't the case here. The staff did their jobs with pride and passion. I could tell they really cared about me as a persona and my health. All the therapists were great but the head therapist, RIno, was amazing. He really helped me gain my leg strength, even after all of my complaining. Thank you Palomar Vista for helping me get my health straightened, at least for the meantime.

They are part of the California Mission Inn. The facility isn't quite as pretty, but the people are just over the top, their attitudes are great. It's very clean, and we are in a building that 60-65 years old, but it's not as pretty. They are really good with the therapy here.

My Aunt lived at the Medalion until she passed away in March. We had In Home Hospice for her and I could not believe how compassionate the staff was at the Medalion, as we were going through those last hours with her. They were constantly checking on her and us, to make sure we were ALL ok. She always told us they were good to her but they definitely proved it to me then. I will always be grateful to them for making a very difficult time a little easier.

Nice facility, too expensive.

We toured this community when looking into care for my loved one. This community looked very nice, and the staff were very friendly, but it was one of the more expensive options we looked at. I would have liked to be able to place my loved one here, it looked like it would have been a good fit for her, but unfortunately it was not something that would have worked with her finances.

Very nice and I liked the different options for each place in a person's journey. Very costly though and our budget isn't very large.

Very nice.... like many aspects of what they offer. Will take Dad on a tour.

Thye're very good to her, she did fall and break her hip so we're trying to move her to the dementia unit but I like where they're at. She's got early dementia, I think she's happy, and shes needing more care and Im okay with that but were tryign to find a fit for her so she can stay there. THe thing I do have a complaint about is that they put her on restartive care and they didnt tell me about it until she had been on it a couple of weeks so they did it on their own without giving me a chance to talk to her about it, but on the whole their care is good. It's not really complaints because I like what they're doing, but the whole problem is shes making slow progress. But the staff is really friendly, they're really helpfuyl and they always love taking care of her.

We chose this community because the staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartments are spacious. They have a very good food plan; you only pay if you actually use it. They give you a punch card that you use when you get a meal. You only pay for what you use. The community is very pleasant and they are located very close to home. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

We chose this location because of all the amenities they offer. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The location is really convenient for my family. The food was very good; in fact go enough that I bought a meal ticket to go back. The community itself is really nice and well maintain but the surrounding area is a little rough, really doesn’t affect the community because it’s separated. The one thing that could be improved is the welcoming process; it could have more structure and formality to it. They could have set up some appointment so that we meet the ambassador and other staff. They do have the option but you have to actively seek it. With everything said and done we chose this community because it was the right fit for our situation.
