Our family had an in person tour and the tour was fine we interviewed with the staff and they were nice but based on first impression it just did not really make us that excited

All would be a 5- excellent! It is a wonderful place- my mom loves it because they are very personable- the staff is friendly and helpful and they paired her up with someone to do her meals with, and she now has friends!

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The staff is awesome and I would recommend Bellevue Senior Living.

We love Heritage of Portage. They take really good care of my parents and do a great job. I go in there and the other residents and staff tell me how sweet my parents are. The staff are wonderful and do their best to try and make everyone happy. We are very pleased with the whole experience and have already recommended them to our friends and family.

5/5 overall with the exception of staff, but the issues were much more a management problem than a staff problem. We've had difficulties due to staff turnover, trying to get ahold of people who no longer worked there and was never told about the change of personnel/had to investigate and gradually find out on my own the nurse and others had suddenly left. Staff has allowed people to take Mom out of the facility without notifying me , I've spoken to Management about it, hopefully it doesn't happen again. We like it. It is very good overall and otherwise, just minor difficulties.

Smaller community, and they give what truly matters to the seniors, quality care. So many communities say they give the best care and fall short. This community truly cares and it shows. The staff care.

The place is great! Everybody there welcomed me with open arms. I highly recommend this place for the older generation. I follow them on Facebook and enjoy seeing pictures of my loved ones. Keep up the great work Shawano Place

Every person at every position gave us the best treatment we've ever had.

Staff is great and have been for many years. Facility is always clean and well kept. Never evidence of any odors. Everyone is always polite and courteous, both to the residents and family members.

My mom Was a resident here for about a year and recently has passed. We very very grateful for the wonderful care she received. They made her feel at ease when she had to move out her home into an apt. I would definitely recommend them to care for your loved one. Thank you again for all the kindness you showed.

They are very knowledgeable with past experiences, and honing in on the care your loved one needs and what can be achieved. The staff are great with responding to emails. They do have good communication with the family in person as well. The community is able to handle medication management, hygiene, dressing, and bathing assistance as some of the care types they offer. They also work well with hospice.

I really do not have any complaints, we have overall had a good experience. The process is hard and the staff here have made it a lot easier. They do have a chef in the dining room who prepares the meals. My step dad goes down to eat for all 3 meals and enjoys the food. The value for the money here is excellent. The director [name removed] has been super to work with from day 1 and continues to be very helpful.

I am very pleased to have selected Hickory Park as my home for my "elder" years. The food is very good, multiple choices at each sitting, the staff are competent and friendly, and there are many activities to enjoy with fellow residents.

Wonderful spot - beautiful place. Enjoyed the May 6th, Seis De Mayo food was great! The smiling faces were beautiful and kind.

Our family toured this community for our mom. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful , and ready to assist my mom for an easy transfer. The facility was clean, appeared well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Great experience!

The staff today on 2nd shift were awesome [date removed]. They were amazing with residents as well as my mom, good job second shift.

I chose Hickory Park because of the overall feel of the facility It is extremely clean, everyone is friendly, and once I moved in all of that remains to be true. The area is convenient to a lot things as well. The staff are marvelous. If you are looking for a place where everyone is friendly, helpful and interested in how you are, then this is the place for you. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

I think this is a wonderful place for people to live who can no longer take care of themselves. The staff is very helpful to the residents and their families.
