Overall .. my Mom liked being there and making friends for the short time she was in their care. We cannot really comment on the activities as our loved one did no participate, but overall the value for cost was good. We would recommend this community to other families who are looking for a pace for their loved ones.

My mother began to experience memory issues and was subsequently diagnosed with Dementia. I look at several facilities for my mother but was drawn to this facility because it is smaller and I was impressed by the staff beginning with my initial visit to the facility. My experience has been the same now that my mother is a resident of this facility. All of the staff is friendly and available at all time to listen to my concerns or questions and then act on them immediately. Overall its a great fit for me and my mother!

This is the absolute best place in Centerville, Ohio for elder care. The staff is warm, professional, courteous, and kind towards all residents as well as each other. The atmosphere inside the buildings as well as the independent homes is very inviting, new, and clean. The brightness of all the windows makes things very cheerful, even on rainy days. The food is nutritional and excellent. Independent living residents are always welcome to come to the dining rooms. Activities are very engaging for all levels of resident care. My experience with the staff is they go out of their way for the residents such that they know they are cared for with all their needs or concerns! Not only do the residents appear to be happy, but also the staff. Very nice environment. Great value for the quality of lifestyle and care. Very upscale and classy place to live!

I was looking for a residence for my husband while I recuperated from some surgery. I was very apprehensive about doing so as I would be away from my husband for a period of time and unable to visit with him in person. I searched numerous facilities and came across Encore which was so close to my home. I toured the facility and was extremely impressed with the Director of Sales & Marketing as well as the Executive Director. In no way at all did I feel I was given the typical sales pitch but rather a caring, understanding discussion and tour of the facility which provided me with a peace of mind in making my decision. The facility is beautiful, very welcoming and well organized. The staff is very friendly, takes the time to introduce themselves and gets to know the residents and family members. The medical care is outstanding, communication is great between the nursing staff and myself and the aides are wonderful. My husband loves the food and daily activities, a plus for him.

I loved the staff that was there when my mom first moved into Randall Residence of Newark. Then there was a change with the Director who wasn't quite as personable, but ok. The Director of nursing changed three times in one year, which made it hard to get to know anyone. They were responsive to all of my inquiries. I believe that my mom got very good care from the general staff. I would recommend this facility to others.

Encore has great activities for your loved one besides bingo and trivia another favorite is baking goodie’s and also doing crafts it really helps the residents enjoy the day they do a wonderful job of trying to get everyone involved it is wonderful to see. It is a tribute to all the caring staff that work there

The help here at Bellevue Senior Living are just outstanding. They al l know you by name when you see them in the halls and with always greet you with a smile. There are also many wonderful activities offered for the residents. If something needs repaired, it is fixed within the same day. I would absolutely recommend Bellevue Senior Living to others looking.

Encore has proved to be a good fit for my mother. She has been a resident for 5 1/2 yrs. and has been treated like a member of a close family. Everyone is always friendly, caring, and loving. Smiles and hugs are in abundance. Well balanced meals as well as a variety of daily menus are wonderful. The maintenance man keeps the facility in tip-top shape. There is always some sort of activity going on as well as memory games. All of this is due to the exemplary leadership of the director and her administrative assistants.

The facility has always been perfectly clean and neutral smelling (vs urine like in some nursing homes and one of the indep facilities we visited). The fact that there are 2 meal time options for lunch and 2 for dinner is helpful for my mother (not sure about breakfast times because she'll never make it there). She can attend church there which is great. She LOVES dogs and is so glad that her best friend can bring her dog when she visits and I will do the same. I do wish that the stretching/motion exercise classes were not only in the morning but also in the afternoon as my mother is not a morning person and will never make it to that class even though she desperately needs it.

The initial greeting, atmosphere, consult, tour, and visual surroundings are all exceptional. There was cleanliness throughout the facility and everything was explained in detail.

My dad went down hill fast. We needed to get them into assisted living Fast. We had looked at a few last year just to see what was out there. Nothing came close to Hickory Park. My parents love it and the food is excellent. My parents and I would recommend this place to everyone. [name removed] was the best and took a lot of stress off our plate.

I toured this community and it was a very nice place. Cleanliness and Friendliness were good. The rooms were a bit smaller than some of the other places in our area.

The community was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Very nice staff, knowledgeable. Communication was fine, meals were offered 3 meals a day, no special diet options, choices if you wanted something else.

We like the location of this community it is convenient for our family to go and visit, and after visiting many other places the overall value here is about right in the middle its not the most expensive but not the cheapest. We really like the community as a whole and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend Encore at South Barrington to other families .

Trusting the care of your loved one to someone is never easy however, Encore's staff and facilities have allowed us to have some peace. Encore's staff, residents, and their families have truly made it feel like home for our mom. Safety and cleanliness are a priority at the facility. The directors and the head of nursing are always available for an email or a phone call. The small setting keeps our mom from getting lost in the shuffle as well. We chose this facility 4 years ago with the hopes of our mom to be able to age in place and they have allowed us that luxury. Grateful for this team of professionals.

I've lived away from Kenosha ever since my mom died in 1988. I decided to move back to be near mom's grave.

My mom was a resident for less than 2 months. All the employees were wonderful. They were kind. Always made sure the residents ate. I felt very confident in the care she received. my mom was a resident in the memory care side.

We had looked at facilities in the area and just could not settle on one place until we found, now named, Encore! The staff made it all easy and comfortable during an emotional time. When we walked in We knew it was the place. Small setting, the same people around, they keep an eye on everyone, keep them entertained with great staff. They let the residents feel like they are safe with them, It takes a big load of the family! Mom is happy and we are happy! Thank you for all everyone at Encore! We are blessed!

This place is fantastic. My 92 year old mother relocated from Rapid City to this community. The food is great but the staff is even better. [name removed] was able to make the transition a smooth and flawless occasion. Today my mother made a Thanksgiving centerpiece and made a friend also (the friend has a dog). Tomorrow they are meeting for coffee, what a sweet place. My mother loves this place.

After touring other facilities we would find them ok but had lingering doubts. With Encore in South Barrington there was no doubt. Once inside we were greeted and toured the residence and felt that this is the perfect place to care for our family member. I cannot say enough how kind and caring the team at Encore has been. This is a team that works together to ensure the safety and comfort of the residents. I highly recommend Encore when you need to make this very difficult decision.
