All are 5's. Courtyard is the best! Everyone who works here is caring and professional. I would absolutely recommend the Courtyard at McHenry community to other families based on the experience I have had so far.

Encore knows and understands dementia patients. And when you know things well and hold to high standards, it equals a wonderful place for human beings to be cared for. My father received excellent, truly kind care during his time here. The almost daily communication by text from nursing was priceless. He loved the food! I would definitely recommmend anyone’s loved ones to be a resident here.

Our Mom is doing very good @ Encore. Seems that since we put her in hospice and they took her off some of the medication she seems a little brighter. The facility and personal are very good. They really seem to care better for her. Because it is a smaller facility we feel that helps.

I had a wonderful experience with my dad living at Waterford. The staff working there were amazing. I never once worried about my dad. He was in good hands his entire stay. I am so happy we picked Waterford.

My loved one is currently a resident at Encore at Bolingbrook and everything has been great for her! They are a far superior community compared to the facility that my loved one was in previously. They don't have the staffing problems like the previous facility did and they take EXCELLENT care of my loved one. I would recommend this facility to others.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff and environment at Encore in South Barrington! We found this program after having our mom in a different memory care facility and this move was our best decision yet. The staff is warm, patient, and clearly comfortable navigating the complex challenges seen with Alzheimer’s patients. Within a week at Encore our mom was calmer and more relaxed and seemed to be responding to the environment so well. The staff has found ways to engage our mom in activities and keep her active and participating! I would highly recommend this program!

Encore Memory Care of South Barrington met all of our needs! The staff is outstanding! Nurses are trained medical professionals who are dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of residents. Encore is immaculate, bright, rooms are spacious, each residents laundry is done seperate, meals are nutritionally balanced and there are social, therapeutic and recreational activities provided. There are many safety features which our family felt very comfortable with and they were one of our priorities . We visited many communities and Encore Memory Care of So Barrington met all our needs ……..it’s a very friendly, family, safe, comforting community! The Encore Team of [names removed] all the Nursing Staff are always ready to help and are to be commended for their dedication to their community! Thank you!

My husband has been a resident for three months. He is in very good hands. The staff is well trained on how to care for residents with dementia. The facility is very clean. It is a bright and friendly environment. The residents have lots of activities offered to them. The staff keeps me informed of my husband’s condition. I feel very good about leaving my loved one in their care.

The entire community is an atmosphere of caring, kindness and tranquility. The staff go above and beyond caring for the residents. They are attentive and quick to respond to resident needs (assistance with wheelchair, etc.) They the keep the residents engaged throughout the day in a multitude of activities that are appropriate for where the residents are physically and mentally. Everyone is so kind. They treat family members of the residents like family - every request and concern is met with reciprocal care. The facility is beautifully appointed and feels warm and comfortable. It is very difficult making the hard choice to put a family member in a memory care facility. But Encore at South Barrington makes you feel like you made the best choice. I know my mom is safe and comfortable.

Mom was brought there having dementia and stage four cancer. The staff has been nothing but wonderful to her and our family, keeping us update on how her day was , how meds are being taken. I staff is used to different changes and are very empathetic and knowledgeable which puts comfort in our hearts.we are there for mom but find our selfs visiting a few different residents everybody likes a visit. Sad thing tomorrow your visit was new and just exciting as day before for them. Dinners look great also.

[name removed] from Waterford Place reached out to me to set up a tour for my uncle. She was extremely nice and flexible as to when I could come. She was amazing with helping me once I decided Waterford was what I wanted for my uncle as well. She walked me through everything I needed and was even supportive of me and the difficulties I faced getting him to Wisconsin as he was being moved from North Carolina. [name removed] still continues to be a great point of contact for me and I'm forever grateful for her kindness and efforts to make sure everything is a smooth transition for my uncle.

My dad moved in about 5 months ago and I am very pleased with the care he has been receiving. The staff genuinely cares for it’s residents and has been incredibly accommodating to dad and very understanding of not only his memory care but his numerous needs. Kind is an understatement of the entire staff who not only desire to know the residents, but they are very welcoming of the family and friends who visit. Dad loves the food and there are always plenty of activities to keep him occupied throughout the day. It was a heartbreaking day when Dad moved out of the family home, but it is heartwarming to know he is in a safe, warm, and welcoming place he now calls home!

My dad recently moved from another memory care facility. The staff here has been a million times more attentive and caring. They actually do the needed cares and more. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking.

My experience with Hickory Park was great..[name removed] , the PR person couldn't have been better...the apartment was lovely...very clean and well cared for. My church friend,(88 years old,) was happy with her experience.

First impression when I walked through the door, it was clean very open did not look like an assisted-living situation. The staff were wonderful. The apartments were great.

The staff was very informative. They answered every question we had, the best they could. They made the move in process very easy on everyone.

A Place For Mom helped us find this facility and we were grateful we did. It's super clean, has activities all day long and the staff is exceptional! We have a strong sense of comfort knowing my mom is so well taken care of. I would highly recommend Encore!
