Encore at South Barrington is truly a gem. They have a compassionate team that provides outstanding care for their residents. The community is vibrant with lots of activity. I love the smaller home-like environment and warm atmosphere. Each resident has a care plan that is specific to their needs.

When we moved our Mother into Bellevue like anyone, we were not sure if she would be happy changing to a very different environment and life style from where she came from. Living alone for many years it was going to be a very big adjustment. When she saw her apartment and new surroundings she was going to now live in, she had a big smile along with a new sense of relief that her new life was going to be less work and for sure a lot less stress. Now after a couple years she has settled in and enjoys her new place and now calls it her home.. If ever she has a question, problem, anything that she needs assistant with, the staff are there and more then wiling to find a solution. She is happy and as a family WE ARE TOO!! We highly recommend Bellevue to anyone who is seeking some comfort and piece of mind for a family member who is ready to give up all the stress of daily life, to now settle into a safe, happy, and simple life style which is well deserved and necessary.

When I ask for help the answer is Always yes and if they are busy with someone else they will get to us as soon as they can Carolyn and I rate the food with an A and their listed activities as A++ The people in charge will always listen to our concerns and if we need help will give us great advise.

The facility has been a great success. The staff is great. Been a good fit for my parents and our family . We are so happy that Bellevue assisted and independent was available so that my parents can be together.

I recently moved my father to Shawano Place. The Administrator did an amazing job with getting the admission process completed fast, after my family and I made a last minute decision. She went above and beyond, what we expected. My father has been there for a month now, and loves the place. Thanks Shawano Place.

The facility is great the apartments are well appointed. There is always activities going on, but the best part is the staff. They’re friendly and kind, and genuinely invested in the lives of the residents. We visit regularly and are always impressed by the attention to detail- from the seasonal decorations to the way that the staff members interact with the residents. Always options for meals. Additional services such as laundry and medication management can be added on as necessary. We recommend Bellevue Senior Living to family and friends.

This is a great place for my 84 year old father. Renewed social life, better health and safety than living at home alone. Still has his independence in a perfect size apartment. Staff is always friendly! He’s been a resident for over two years and truly enjoys his new home and interacting with staff and residents.

Staff is wonderful and reassuring. Always something going on keeping my parents busy. The menus is well thought out and varied. Have to admit I was a little leary of my parents going there but they have nothing but great things to say about it and transition from home owners to senior living without any hiccups

staff is observant, mindful and caring. issues are resolved quickly. food is good and plentiful. transportation provided to appointments or shopping. great facility. would recommend to any new client.

My family is so thankful we found this facility for our mom and we finally have peace of mind knowing that she is being so well taken care of. The facility is very clean, the staff is attentive and caring and the management team is awesome. We receive regular reports on her therapy as well as events happening at Encore. We absolutely love this facility and we are so thankful that our mom is being so well taken care of! This facility is truly a "gem"!

I can only comment about the memory unit. Those girls worked hard to maintain order and keep up. I thought to myself a few times that however much money they are making probably isn't enough. It takes a special person to that job.

The staff is very friendly and helpful at The Courtyard at Centerville. Housekeeping does an excellent job of keeping the place clean and tidy, the communication with the staff is amazing. They are always on top of things with my mother in law. Which I am grateful for. The move in was wonderful. They gave us a few days to move her in, which was nice. We were able to get her furniture set up before she moved. My mother in law likes the food. We have not tried it yet, but we are going the first Sunday of December to try it. Every month they have a meal that they invite the family to. I would highly recommend this facility. It is a true gem.

Everything about Parkside is and has been 5/5 only because the scale does not allow for a higher number! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is treating my family members thoughtfully, respectfully and kindly. They clearly value people and take pride in their service. I spent my career as a social worker for Seniors and Special populations...I have not seen anything like what they do at Parkside. I visit on all days and at all hours. This IS a heart warming unicorn!

It was clean and the people were nice. They got my mom checked in quickly. It was an emergency and they handled it perfectly. It was also 5 minutes from my Dads house. My mother has a difficult personality and they were able to deal with it.It was a great experience. I wish it could have lasted longer.

The home is clean which is so important. [name removed] , the coordinator was excellent in the handling the negotiations. Highly recommend having your loved one stay here in either the private room or the shared room.

Overall .. my Mom liked being there and making friends for the short time she was in their care. We cannot really comment on the activities as our loved one did no participate, but overall the value for cost was good. We would recommend this community to other families who are looking for a pace for their loved ones.

My mother began to experience memory issues and was subsequently diagnosed with Dementia. I look at several facilities for my mother but was drawn to this facility because it is smaller and I was impressed by the staff beginning with my initial visit to the facility. My experience has been the same now that my mother is a resident of this facility. All of the staff is friendly and available at all time to listen to my concerns or questions and then act on them immediately. Overall its a great fit for me and my mother!

This is the absolute best place in Centerville, Ohio for elder care. The staff is warm, professional, courteous, and kind towards all residents as well as each other. The atmosphere inside the buildings as well as the independent homes is very inviting, new, and clean. The brightness of all the windows makes things very cheerful, even on rainy days. The food is nutritional and excellent. Independent living residents are always welcome to come to the dining rooms. Activities are very engaging for all levels of resident care. My experience with the staff is they go out of their way for the residents such that they know they are cared for with all their needs or concerns! Not only do the residents appear to be happy, but also the staff. Very nice environment. Great value for the quality of lifestyle and care. Very upscale and classy place to live!

I was looking for a residence for my husband while I recuperated from some surgery. I was very apprehensive about doing so as I would be away from my husband for a period of time and unable to visit with him in person. I searched numerous facilities and came across Encore which was so close to my home. I toured the facility and was extremely impressed with the Director of Sales & Marketing as well as the Executive Director. In no way at all did I feel I was given the typical sales pitch but rather a caring, understanding discussion and tour of the facility which provided me with a peace of mind in making my decision. The facility is beautiful, very welcoming and well organized. The staff is very friendly, takes the time to introduce themselves and gets to know the residents and family members. The medical care is outstanding, communication is great between the nursing staff and myself and the aides are wonderful. My husband loves the food and daily activities, a plus for him.
