Chestnut House is really a nice little place. There are a few things I would change. It is nothing major just some maintenance I would have them do differently. The outside needs power washing. Overall we are pleased.

I think what they do really well is they listen to the family to try and determine what the best needs are for the individual. The speak with the resident as well so they get their perspective too. They seem to do a good job of integrating the needs of both in providing a care and communication plan. They seem to do a really good job at keeping you abreast with anything you should know about your loved one.

I think she's very happy there. Communication is good, no complaints about food so far. We haven't really had any concerns or complaints, at this point. I think she would like a little more activities, but I think that's just her.

Very expensive, but a nice community

They really gave me a lot of information for more independent living. Mostly people that are just normal. I talked to man in charge but never was able to talk to staff. I didn't like just talking to the person in charge. It is a brand new building. The rooms are just beautiful with lots of space. I would have liked to have seen more of the staff and the residents.

By comparison to experiences I have had at other places, Countryside Manor has been good. Mom complains a little bit about the food, but I am not sure if that is just her, as she has made that complaint elsewhere and her appetite is not what it used to be. They seem to be very responsive and mom is very pleased with them, so we are too.

My wife is at Autumn Leaves. I'm very satisified with the care she is receiving at the Crystal Lake Facality . If I encounter any problems, the staff is quick to resolve any situtation.

Everything is good, it's very clean. All of those things are very good. I haven't gotten any emergency calls. It's kind of expensive though, really expensive. It's a nice place, but you really are paying for it.

Great tour and maintained well

I visited. They have good programs - I liked that they have a nearby preschool visit regularly. Good facility, but I don't think it's the best for my mom.

Overall it has been a very positive experience with Coventry of Mahtomedi. The facility is very nice and clean, and they helped to put us in touch with the care providers that we need when we need them.

Not suitable at this time. Eric does not need memory care yet.

The services are very good, with the exception of the service in the dining room. The food is good, but the service is lacking a small bit, due possibly to the staff needing to be better trained. Other than that one small critique, I am very well pleased.

Very impressed with everything seen as well as staff. The need for a dx of dementia of some form would probably rule out this facility.

My visit last week went well. The rooms were smaller than those at Cerenity & NO furnishings come with them. Also, there are only 16 rooms that aren't memory care, and so it would not be easy to get into. Common areas were very nice.

We were looking forward to going to Fox Point before my mom became ill, but never made it. We were very disappointed because they went back on their word in telling us we would be receiving a portion of our money because my mom was not utilizing their services, but when she didn't move in after being released from the hospital and rehab, they went back on their word.

Second shift care giving is unsatisfactory. More money is spent on things that will help sell new customers than on care services. Residence are fearful of change and are reluctant to complain.

Pricy, but the Cadillac.

Very clean, all residents dressed and out in the common area. The ones that were not the staff knew exactly why and what they were doing. Friendly staff. No Rn on 2nd or 3rd shift which is a problem for my father who has a feeding tube. If the tube comes out I think this is a very good option for us.

We're pleased with this community so far, it's a clean, nice looking place, and the staff are friendly. The food service is phenomenal! At the time of this review the care services leave a little to be desired, they are going through a transition to a new director of nursing. But they are definitely making the effort, and I am seeing improvement.
