Very homey. If it wasn't out of budget, would be number one pick.

At Fox Point they seem to be doing a fine job. It is very expensive but they are taking good care of mom. The staff are very cooperative. It seemed to me that the lady that was in charge there got a new job so now there are new people. It makes me wonder how much that goes on. So I do wonder about the turnover rate. Sometime there are some staff that are unavailable and tending to other residents and there is only one staff left to attend to the crowd of residents. That isn't a big concern and is only for about 10 minutes length of time. Everybody seems very caring and loving and patient. They are even really patient with her husband that comes to visit. My hats off to them.

As far as improvements, I do not think that they need any. All I can really say about the facility is that my loved one is very happy there at Fox Point, so that makes all of the family members happy as well.

I'm embarrassed it took me so long to write. However, my family visited Bellevue back in April. We were looking for a potential new home for my Uncle Jack. Unfortunately, his situation will not allow for him to live at the Bellevue. I want to say, as a family we are so disappointed because we LOVED.. the facility, and the hospitality that John offered to us as we toured the facility. We got a feeling from everyone that my Uncle would be well cared for and that he would be welcomed into a new "family" environment. We have to extend a special Thank you to John for making us feel like we were all at home at the Bellevue.

This is our #1 choice. Like the facility and location and John was VERY helpful.

My auntie is no longer at Gracewood of Hugo. When she got here I didn't know she was not doing well. She was only in this facility an hour when they realized she needed more care than they could provide. She had to go into a nursing home. She needed 24 hour nursing care. Shelly is terrific here. She is just a gem. They have a really nice facility. I was sorry that my auntie couldn't stay here.

My mom has been at Fox point a little over a month now. She is very positive about the whole experience. Her exact comment - "How could you not like it, they do everything for you." From my perspective, she is still making the adjustment from living in her own home, but continues to have independence and autonomy while living in a positive caring environment. This is a plus for her and her children.

We're very pleased with how things have gone with Chestnut House! The staff here are all wonderful people. They're caring, understanding, and they've been very responsive to any issues or questions that we've had for them. They really have gone over the top helping us through this transition! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they do a great job looking out for the people who live here.

Caldwell house is a very clean, well kept community with great staff. We checked a lot of assisted livings in the area for my dad and Caldwell House was by far the most affordable. Dad loves it there, he's made several friends and couldn't be happier. He also loves the food! Caldwell house is not very big and overwhelming for him. And the location is ideal. We couldn't be happier with our experience so far!

I would give Parkside Manor seven stars if I could! At this facility they have a real commitment to the residents. The staff doesn't view it as a job but as if they are family. I truly appreciate this attention to service. It really makes the whole process wonderful.

My father is staying at Bellevue and everything is going great. I can't even think of anything they can do to improve. I really like that my dad has actually gotten involved in some of the activities that they have there. They were very friendly and accommodating and willing to work with us to get him settled and comfortable being at the place. They were very responsive to all our questions and requests. As I was fixing dinner for my family tonight I was commenting to my husband about how good I feel knowing that my dad is being taken good care of and is having good meals prepared for him without me having to worry about him. It is a very good feeling and I am happy he is there.

On the day that my mother transferred, they called and asked what she might want for supper so she had something to eat when she got there even though it was after their dinner time.

I have been very impressed with everything. I have been particularly impressed with the security. They have been doing great on keeping the residents safe and secure. Everything has been going fantastic so far. The parking is good as well. I haven't had any problems with the parking. I am just really pleased with the Parkside Manor. I would recommend this community to anyone. It has been an excellent experience.

Wonderful place. Great staff small home feel setting. Great food and lots of activities. They treat thier residents with such respect and passion.

My husband was really disoriented and in bad condition. As you might guess, as his wife, I was very concerned and worried about finding the appropriate place for him to live and get good care. I didn't know what to do, I'd never looked for a care facility before. The minute I stepped inside, I was greeted by someone at the desk. She made me comfortable right away. Next I had a tour. After bringing my children for yet another tour, we arranged for my husband to move in. Working with Rachel was another very positive aspect of Parkside. She knew how to answer all my questions. The caregivers are wonderful. They knew just how to speak with him, and what to do and say when it was time for his meds. The meals are wonderful. They have a chef. The tables are set beautifully, they use cloth napkins instead of paper, usually there is a small centerpiece on the table as well. Most days there is a second option for the main course, and the food is beautifully presented and tasty. After all mealtime is the most important part of the day. Everything that is done at Parkside, is done with both the patient and their family in mind. Before you realize it, you feel like you are a part of their big family. After 10 months, my husband was well enough to leave the facility and move to an assisted living establishment. It was difficult to make the decision to leave, because we liked everything about Parkside. His improvement was due to the wonderful staff and their careful attention to his medical needs. We cried when we walked out the door for the last time. Parkside Manor is the "cadillac" of memory units. Thank you Parkside!

We toured Autumn Leaves of South Barrington and they were really great people. I really like how they have the place set up, in regards to lighting, how the hallways and colors are set up, etc. It is all very well done for Alzheimer patients. They are all very pleasant and very kind people.

The sales director was the best person we worked with. She is compassionate. She gave us tons of extra time and effort. I think without her the facility wouldn't be the same.

Parkside Manor is a wonderful place! They have someone sitting with my husband all the time so he is never really left alone. When I come in they get up and leave so I can visit with him. They also all remember my name and have gotten to know me personally as well. They are just very caring.

I am really very pleased with Hickory Park. I love the way they guided me through the process in a tough time. Mom feels really comfortable there. The staff is very welcoming and friendly to everyone. Mom felt comfortable there right away. The food is really good to. We just found it to be a very good value and would highly recommend it.
