The representative was very personable and knowledgeable. The facility was impressive and clean. The community fee (move-in fee) was equivalent to two months rent which was very expensive [Amount removed]. We rated the Sunrise Senior Living facility at an 8 out of 10.

Reasonable rates in comparison to other facilities I've looked at. Personnel very friendly. I understand rules and regulations, however; individual needs need to be better evaluated. For example locking up toothpaste. Would staff make themselves available to provide the toothpaste twice a day for oral hygiene? And hygiene in general helping with changing of clothes when soiled, on backwards or inside out. And sticking with scheduled days for showering.

I think the facility is clean and well kept. The CNAs seem to be understaffed but that's a problem every where. I do feel like my parents are getting adequate care though. The activities seem to be plentiful but my parents don't partake in them. All of the staff that I have interacted with are friendly and caring. My dad says the food offerings are underwhelming.

They don't offer options up front. When you're going through something new it would be nice to have options presented to you at that time. It's not always easy to come up with your own questions. They also do not like email. It's hard to get answers in writing from them. Sometimes I feel like they're judgmental about my parent.

Seems to be a nice place for elderly people. But without having anybody i know live there i am still unsure.

Communication was good. Staff was friendly. Place was clean.

Holiday meals...people interact with others from different units, and with families of other residents. And seeing my relative eager to join in activities with other residents.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Studio apartment was cute. They went over all the aspects of moving in. Ultimately went with another place.

Overall, we have been satisfied with the care our family has received. Lately there has been an issue with her health and we feel it has not been dealt with correctly. We have brought it up more than once and have been told not to believe the staff that deal with her. I have to believe that what they have said is correct because the issue has not been resolved yet. Tomorrow, she returns to the doctor, and we will get the right answer. We are sure the protocol for her issue has not been followed. Her comforter was supposed to be washed and at first we were told they couldn't do it. Then we were told they did. This information was not conveyed to us by the staff. All her clothes were supposed to be washed, and we know they were not. When we bring these issues up, they tell us a different protocol. She sits in the same chair in her room, and we believe it was never dealt with properly. To add insult to injury. they asked us to take her comforter and wash it.

My mom has been living at Anchor Bay in East Providence in their memory care unit for a couple of years now, and she loves it. She says the food is delicious. She really enjoys the weekly outings on the bus and the Tuesday entertainment. It is a great relief to see her so happy every week and not sad to return home after I take her to lunch. The regular staff on the floor are wonderful, as are the medical team. It gives me peace of mind to know she is happy and cared for. Personally, I would love to see the area where the residents gather daily, spruced up a little. The colors are boring, and it doesn't look very inviting or comfortable, but that doesn't seem to stop my mom from spending most of the day there. Overall, we are happy with our choice to make Anchor Bay her home.

The staff has been very attentive and kind. There have been a few small billing errors that we needed to look into, but they were fixed quickly. There have been moments of small mix-ups with belongings and meds. The facility is very clean and maintained. Dad had to go to the ER and a representative from Tranquility was with him the whole time to communicate with medical staff. Overall it is a great place. The rooms are a great size and well maintained and dad has been enjoying the menu and more importantly, is eating!

I like the cleanliness of the community. Full calendar of activities and weekly field trips. They also seem to have a full menu of food options for my mom. Yes I would recommend

I would give them a 4.5. The facility is clean, the dining area feels like a nice restaurant, they have activities to engage the residents and the staff are caring. My mom was at Woodholme Gardens for 4 months of assisted living and 7 months of Hospice Care. By the time she passed in [removed name] the Woodholme staff and care team felt like family

The staff is very nice, and will give you a thorough tour of the place. Everything is centralized, which is great for people with limited mobility. It is one of the better bangs for the buck -- feels like luxury but much more affordable than some of the other communities in the area.

Staff is extremely friendly and appear to really enjoy their jobs. My mom is extremely happy. A negative is that there's no oversight of who comes into the building. I've never tasted the food, but it doesn't seem like there are a lot of healthy options.

I think the staff is quite good. Both the health director and the facility director are pretty communicative and responsive, with occasional lapses. The other staff members are competent and pleasant and seem to really like the patients. Our family member says the food is good. The rooms are a little sterile in Memory Care but that seems to be the rule in these places. The common areas in Memory Care are not as nice as those in assisted living. However, overall I think this is quite a good facility.

Very nice, make her happy and feel welcome, wish the rooms were bigger for the price. She complained about the food but unless its not a stick of butter with salt on top, she was going to complain no matter what

Such a difference after Capitol Ridge which was not a good match. This does not feel like a hospital and the function rooms are more modest. The grounds are beautiful. Plus the price, although still almost beyond my means, is more reasonable. Not as top heavy with managers. I do wish the meal times were different. 8. 12 and 5:30. And coffee for self service near lobby should return. I will ask that the piano in memory care be tuned. I would play it if it were and wouldn't mind an audience. Music is so important to memory care. The main lobby piano is fine but very public.
