My friend has recently made the move into this community and seems to really be liking everything so far. He has really enjoyed all of the activities that are available to him like bingo and the different singing concerts. He did say he was not completely thrilled with the meals they provide but did not have any particular complaint about them. The staff are pleasant and I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am happy that my friend is doing good at this community. She has just moved in and like the great staff who are treating her very well. The community is very clean. She is happy with the variety of activities so that when she is comfortable and settled she can participate. I know that she is happy with the variety of the meals. I would be happy to inform anyone needing good care for a loved one that this is a excellent community.

I had a pretty good tour of this community. The community looked nice and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. They treated my family and very well, this is a nice community.

Nice quiet location of 60 units all on ground floor with a large dinning area. Rooms are basic with shared shower with room next door, but with a private bathroom. People are nice and seem caring. Built in 1974, but rooms are updated periodically. Value is about in the middle for assisted living facilities for the Binghamton area. Our initial impression is positive.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me very well. One of the things we didn't like was the strong odor of the community. The layout of the community was nice it was just really big and we could not get a room for my loved one close enough to everything. Overall it was clean and the staff was nice activities were also offered on site but it didn't work for us.

The people I met during my tour were friendly. The food was fabulous. The community is a little dark and the room they showed us was small. It is a clean community. It would have been fine if it was little brighter. They are very close to Unity Hospital and Greece Ridge Mall.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My Mother in law did not like it as the community was kind of dark and the hallways seemed complicate for her. The community seemed clean.

Since my mom has been at this community they have not tried to get her to interact with other residents. There was not a welcoming committee. We would not recommend this community. The staff that assist my mom on a daily basis are wonderful.

My mom is living at this community and so far she is enjoying herself. The staff respectful, caring, friendly, and always there when she needs help. This community is clean and tidy everywhere. My mom especially loves the roast beef and she requested a low-sodium diet so the dietitian educated Mom on healthy choices. Activities are available, my mom has partake in ice cream social, musical entertainment, and armchair exercise. This is a place for your loved ones to enjoy everyday.

Our first impression was, this is the right place. Associates are very concerned for an uneventful transition. All have been very friendly and helpful. 24/7 staff. Medical personnel available 24/7.Rooms could be brighter. Will review again in 30 days.

Our experience with Brookdale West Side Rochester has been a positive one! They've got some good people working for them, the staff is friendly, caring, and professional. My only complaints would be that there are some areas in the facility that are worn down and in need of renovations, and I'd also like to see them transition to a call-button necklace system, rather than the pull cords they currently use. But overall it is a very nice place!

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. I thought this place had a layout that would work well for someone with minor memory issues, it's a big circle. We ended up selecting another community based on proximity to family, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

Everyone is very caring at Bassett and I have had nothing to complain about. The staff is very professional and understanding and I find that at this time in my mom's life it is very important. I would recommend Bassett to anyone.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I thought Brookdale was a nice enough looking place, but I don't think it would have been a good fit for my loved one. Their pricing structure seemed to cater more towards those with few care needs. If your loved one has any serious needs the extra charges can stack up very quickly and make for a very expensive monthly bill.

good marks for all the standard checklist items. The building is a bit older. The staff is very friendly.

The facility is very nice, very beautiful. The food was kind of mediocre. The staff and the care was great in the assisted living. The assisted living by and large was very nice, it is a great location. It's in the middle of the Hamburg Village. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

The Emeritus at Bassett Manor is a friendly community. So far so good. Everything is running smoothly. The friendliness is excellent. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. The staff is helpful and nice. They could improve on their cleanliness and care services. Other than that, everything is really good. We haven't had any major issues or concerns. I would recommend this community to anyone.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Emeritus at West Side seemed like a nice place, overall. The building itself was on the older side, but it was well kept and clean. I met a few of the residents during my tour, and they all seemed very happy to be here!

I think they do a good job overall at Emeritus at Colonie Manor, although unfortunately it was not a good fit for our loved one. It's a nice looking place, the staff are friendly, and they have a lot of different services and activities they provide for the residents.
