Elderwood Administrative Services

My sister in law was in the memory care unit. We chose Elderwood Willage at Bassett Park because of the availability, the location, as well as we heard some good feedback from a family member who knew someone who was here. The room sizes were smallish but adequate. I would want people to know when looking into this community that they were very helpful in explaining the process and giving a tour. They were very cooperative and it made the process easy on us. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

The people at Elderwood were wonderful to work with. They were very accommodating and made us feel comfortable. The facility is clean, bright and cheerful. We were impressed with the amenities and the people. The only downfall is that the facility is not on or near a bus line. My aunt has decided to use this facility during the remainder of her recovery.

Excellent facility for those who need some support with routine daily living tasks. Pleasant surroundings. Supportive staff. Excellent dining. Apartment set up still allows for some independence, if desired.

Initially, the response time was astounding. Now that Dad is there, there is a bit of a delay. But overall, we are extremely happy with the move.

Brookdale Fairport is a lovely community that we toured. The staff was very friendly and gave a nice presentation of their community. The residents seemed happy, and it was a very well-kept looking community. We chose another community that was a better fit for our budget, and we found a community that was closer to our families so that we could visit mom more often.

This a lovely community, and my tour of it was a nice one. The community looked great from what we saw. Everyone was very friendly to my family, and I. The staff we came across was nice, and helpful. Our questions were answered, and the experience went well overall.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. The community was decent, but this was not the community for my mother.

My mom has been recently placed in the memory care unit and although it is very expensive I am very pleased with how things are going for her. Her health has not been the best but I am thankful for the caretakers that have been looking after her while she is there. I am comfortable with the services they have been provided and think they are very compassionate people. Overall I have no complaints and would recommend it to anyone.

I had a very nice tour of this community. My tour went very well, and everyone was friendly. The community looked very clean, and everything appeared to be well-kept. The staff I met was nice, and helpful. They answered all my questions. It was a good experience, but I did find another community that met our needs better. However this is a nice facility with kind people.

I had a good tour of this community. It is a nice community with kind people. The only issue we had were that the room they showed us were small. The layout of the community was similar to a college dorm. The experience went well, and everyone was nice. However I did find a community that suited our needs better.

I visited here and it was very nice. It included a dementia area and had different options for assisted living (eg. For additional cost, help dressing, showering could be added to care level.) I would have selected this location EXCEPT: Once a client runs out of private pay, they can't stay. And there is no skilled nursing unit there to provide full continuum.

Overall our experience with Elderwood Assisted Living has been a good one. The staff is very compassionate, and they do a great job explaining everything that is going to be going on. We had a few difficult situations arise with my loved one, and I think they handled them all very well. Based on our experience I would recommend them.

My mom is adjusting well to living at Brookdale. The staff are nice and helpful. The food is good and they offer a lot of choices. They offer daily activities and they keep the community clean. I would recommend this community.

Nice facility. Determined this would be little too far for family to travel too. All seemed friendly, etc.,

The staff at the Brookdale are all very friendly and accommodating. The place is very clean and maintained well. I would recommend it to anyone looking. The only complaint my father had was the food. They were not his favorite.

My mom was here for rehabilitation and during that time my mom has pleasant staff. They took her out of her room to eat and meet other people. However I did not see a sheet of activities and she did not tell me she participated in any.

I took a tour of the community and it went as good as it could. It was eye opening and I would not want to put my loved one here. It looked nice but they have small living spaces.

My father is doing very well here at this community. The staff is great, and caring for him very well. This is a very lovely community with kind people. I would highly recommend it.
