Elderwood Administrative Services

Their is a lot of shortages of staff. For what they have, I feel they do a good job. I would recommend them. Note: since they have more steady staff cleanliness is better.

I would recommend. We toured only two facilities and really liked Elderwood in Williamsville. My mom is very happy there. And I'm so grateful for the assistance I got from you.

I've not experienced any bad smells. Maintenance has been very kind, patient and helpful. Staff have been upbeat, welcoming and ready to listen to the needs of residents sometimes through their loved ones.

I would recommend Elderwood Village to others looking for care.

Staff is very friendly. Housekeeping and maintenance do an excellent job. Communication with family is lacking at times, but has definitely improved after my mom has been there for a few months. My mom enjoys the food and has even become more social since moving there. She has also started to become more active in the offered activities, which is awesome. My one suggestion is to have better direct communication with families after someone moves in. I would definitely recommend the facility to other families.

The facility is very clean and has good food and activities. The move in process was very easy. I had good communication for most things. There has been some questions as to what day she is scheduled for a shower and getting it done. Overall, we are happy with our choice.

We picked this community because of the location, facility , staff and approach. Not necessarily in that order. They also made my Mom feel very comfortable and that she would have fun. I would recommend to others.

It's only 3 months but I would give them a 4.5 in all the categories. I am starting to feel comfortable with my choice. The staff are very nice and caring. I think it is a wonderful safe place for our more vulnerable family members.

My dad was previously a resident at Elderwood Assisted Living at Wheatfield. The problem was that my dad was at a very high quality facility prior to this one. This place was like a 4star. He had to move closer to me when my mom died, so he moved to Elderwood. This facility was okay, but not the greatest. The place needs renovating. It needs to be cleaner. My dad complained about the food not being that good. The staff were very nice people, but the facility itself needs work.

Use a nurse or medical professional that is NOT affiliated with the care center to do an evaluation of your loved one to determine the level of care needed. My mom needed more care than she could ever get there but was admitted because their resident #s had dropped so low due to COVID & we were desperate for help. It led to more quarantines & hospitalizations that could have been avoided with more care from day one.

I needed availability right away. [facility name removed] had a spot open and Elderwood Village Greece did not. But I did like the overall look of the other Elderwood community over the Greece location.

Overall I'm happy with the services provided at Elderwood Village at Fairport. In my case they did work with me to get her in, are are still working with me. So far good people. Rooms are fair in size but not large. But I also do not have much experience in this. But I do know when I have been treated well

Elderwood in Greece was going through a lot of reno work when we visited. People were wonderful Residents & staff were friendly. Dining room looked pleasant. Only downfall (besides construction) the rooms were very small.

What stood out to us about this facility was the cleanliness and the food - Mom loves the food! Mom loves the PT ladies, they are very helpful. My Mother is not a joiner or a participant in activities, but they do offer these to her. She really needs help making her bed but does not always get it. She loves her private bath and shower. The one really big thing that Mom loved was the celebration of her birthday. A corsage, a balloon on her wheelchair, and cake and ice cream. It absolutely made her day. Mom knows that she cannot live at home by herself any more so she is still adjusting to that idea and says she knows she is in the best place. Having some of her own things in her room really helps. I would recommend this facility to friends and family.

They made a lot of promises surrounding meal requirements, time to get up in the morning requirements, accountability on staff for monitoring my loved one. They have not been great with those things.. The nursing staff can't provide answers when asked pointed questions about my loved ones behavior. It's very musical and my loved one loves that part.

Our family rented the country Kitchen on the 3rd floor this past Sunday, Nov . 6th. We intended on hooking up a TV to watch the Bills Football game in the room and were unable to connect to the internet to stream the game through a roku connection. We would like to request for the convenience of your resident guests, that either a Spectrum Cable line be added to the room, or maybe allow the capability of internet connection to stream spectrum basic TV services.

WE had a great tour experience with Elderwood Village at Bassett Park. I thought it was a very nice facility, but I toured anther that I just found to be a better fit for my loved one.

I toured Elderwood Village at Bassett Park and it was good there, I can't say it was not. The community was okay, but we chose some place else because Elderwood was further from where our loved one lived.

My loved one had a brief rehab stay at Elderwood Residences of Cheektowaga. They took extremely good care of her. When I visited, everyone was friendly, and they all knew her by name. She was there due to wounds from a fall, and they took good care in healing those for her.

Our experience at Elderwood at Wheatfield started out really good. They did have a lot of turnover of staff and management - we went through 3 different administrators during our time here. When that turnover happens, it ends up affecting the quality of care. We were under the impression that they offered memory care but they do not which is why we had to move out when our loved one needed more care.
