Elderwood Administrative Services

I like the community. I do spend a lot of time there, and feel like I am working in partnership with them. I am unsure what it would be like if I was in a different city and my loved one was here. I believe that with me visiting it helps keep the level of care where I like to see it. There is a medical condition that was under control and it has reappeared, and I feel like the physician and physician's assistant aren't digging into it as hard as they could to find out why it has reappeared. I feel out of the communication loop with care staff since moving my loved one from their Primary Care Physician to the community physician and physician assistant. My loved one enjoys the food, activities, and the community itself. The grounds and building are also enjoyed by my loved one.

We chose Elderwood Village because we had a really good first impression with [name removed], she was very helpful and made us feel comfortable with the whole process. It is a very nice environment and it is not too big so it is not overwhelming for the residents. It has been a great experience and I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

They didn't offer memory care, so it did not suit my loved one's needs.

my mom is happy at Elderwood Village. she likes living in this community and enjoys her time here; I would recommend it to others. we initially had a small hiccup in the beginning when processing her paperwork and it did take us a while to get to the bottom of it, but it has since been resolved. as my mom's health and mobility strengthens, she is able to participate in more activities, which is a plus. while she could not engage in physical activity, the community had non-mobile things such as bingo. our loved one is much happier than what we thought she would be. several friends and extended family members have commented on her wellbeing and says she seems to be in a good space.

We thought Elderwood Village of Williamsville was a very nice facility. They had a very knowledgeable person doing the tour. Everybody seemed to be friendly. Our only concern was it was so close to a main street that was a 5-6 lane highway. So if our loved one with early dementia ever decided to go out the door, that could be a problem. But they were very helpful in answering all of our questions, and they even suggested questions that might be helpful for us to ask of other facilities.

The people are very friendly. There is a lot to do. The residents get a lot of attention from the caregivers. Some of the activities they offer are kick ball, bingo, rosary, outside entertainment and more for the residents to choose from.

They are doing a remodel currently. My loved one is kept busy with activities. It is an okay community. The staff is very friendly and they have been good at calling when an issues arises with my loved one.

We really liked the welcoming staff when we first came to Elderwood, they were excellent. This community was very clean and very bright when your first walked in. The care services seem to be very good at this community, as well as the activities. They have live entertainment, bingo games and mass on a regular bases. The menu seems very good, we have eaten there a couple times and they offer a great variety. Our loved one has yet to complain about the food.

My sister in law was in the memory care unit. We chose Elderwood Willage at Bassett Park because of the availability, the location, as well as we heard some good feedback from a family member who knew someone who was here. The room sizes were smallish but adequate. I would want people to know when looking into this community that they were very helpful in explaining the process and giving a tour. They were very cooperative and it made the process easy on us. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

The people at Elderwood were wonderful to work with. They were very accommodating and made us feel comfortable. The facility is clean, bright and cheerful. We were impressed with the amenities and the people. The only downfall is that the facility is not on or near a bus line. My aunt has decided to use this facility during the remainder of her recovery.

Excellent facility for those who need some support with routine daily living tasks. Pleasant surroundings. Supportive staff. Excellent dining. Apartment set up still allows for some independence, if desired.

Liked the director very much. Liked that it was on one floor. Room very small compared to Brookdale Nisk. Still possible. Good location. Peg nows this place. [Removed] mother-in-law here. [Removed] was great

Initially, the response time was astounding. Now that Dad is there, there is a bit of a delay. But overall, we are extremely happy with the move.

Brookdale Fairport is a lovely community that we toured. The staff was very friendly and gave a nice presentation of their community. The residents seemed happy, and it was a very well-kept looking community. We chose another community that was a better fit for our budget, and we found a community that was closer to our families so that we could visit mom more often.

This a lovely community, and my tour of it was a nice one. The community looked great from what we saw. Everyone was very friendly to my family, and I. The staff we came across was nice, and helpful. Our questions were answered, and the experience went well overall.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. The community was decent, but this was not the community for my mother.

My mom has been recently placed in the memory care unit and although it is very expensive I am very pleased with how things are going for her. Her health has not been the best but I am thankful for the caretakers that have been looking after her while she is there. I am comfortable with the services they have been provided and think they are very compassionate people. Overall I have no complaints and would recommend it to anyone.

I had a very nice tour of this community. My tour went very well, and everyone was friendly. The community looked very clean, and everything appeared to be well-kept. The staff I met was nice, and helpful. They answered all my questions. It was a good experience, but I did find another community that met our needs better. However this is a nice facility with kind people.

I had a good tour of this community. It is a nice community with kind people. The only issue we had were that the room they showed us were small. The layout of the community was similar to a college dorm. The experience went well, and everyone was nice. However I did find a community that suited our needs better.
