The place at Woodside Village is very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. Overall it has been a very good experience, but there are a couple of areas where I feel they could improve. For one, it does sometimes seem to take a while when a request is made for it to be fulfilled (such has having his laundry cleaned).

I choose this facility because of homey atmosphere and friendly staff

Hilltop Village is a "hidden gem". My mom is a resident in the Catered Care area and I could not imagine a better environment. The staff there are all so wonderful and caring! It is truly a family atmosphere...they take a personal interest in each resident. Merita, the director, does a great job and is very approachable with any suggestions for care of your family members that reside at Hilltop. It is the most wonderful place you will ever find.!!! Another bonus is the great patio..with chairs and umbrellas and hanging flower baskets.

My father is a resident here and our family is pleased with everything.

We knew we had to do something for our mom who seemed to be forgetting many things including her medications and her meals. My sister called A Place for Mom and of course she handed me the phone. I talked to a wonderful, caring lady who helped us through a lot of difficult choices. She sent me a list of places in the area we were interested in and we started the process of touring each. We narrowed it down to three and so one day I took my mom so she could look them over. The first one she seemed fine there and talked to the people. On our way to the second place she told me she didn't want to live at the first. OK, so the next one we walked in (Legacy Gardens) and they all greeted me from the one time I was there. They were so good with mom and she just loved all the attention. We toured the place and found an apartment that would work for her. All I heard is that it was close to her church and she could just walk (ahh No). She was so familiar with this area it seemed to click for her. We went back two more times and she would hug the employees when she walked in. This is the place, I know it. Yes, the expense seems costly but we have peace of mind that she is getting cared for. She gets 3 meals a day, laundry done for her, clean apartment once a week, have an exercise class, cards, puzzles, take them shopping, to appointments if needed when family can't. The staff is so friendly and helpful and actually the meals are good (I ate lunch one day with her). Now all we need is someone to help when she pushes all the wrong buttons on her remote or TV! Not funny but we do have a good laugh over this many times. We did pick the right place and we all believe she is enjoying living there.

I'm pleased with everything at The Inn at Willow Falls. My loved one is adjusting to the change, but all is going good. I'm pleased with the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and care they provide.

We cannot say enough good about these people. The people at Emeritus were wonderful. The care and attention they gave my mom was wonderful. I would go at different times, between the assisted living and the nursing side and there was nothing to complain about, ever. If you want to look hard enough maybe you could find something, but the way my mother was cared for, I don't see it. If there were issues I was called immediately. If I had to go somewhere they would be one of my top choices. The only downside is that they don't accept public pay assistance.

A friendly caring atmosphere created by a highly professonal staff.

When selecting an assisted living facility for my father, I evaluated 16 providers, narrowed the list to three that my father visited. My father selected Legacy. When asked why, he said that this facility had the finest room, and the most friendly and caring staff. The decision was easy. As for me, I see a staff that treats my father like family and treats me as the customer. They are professional, friendly and act with integrity. I could not be happier know my father is well taken care of.

My mom loves it at Bella Vista. We don't have any complaints. We liked the location, and the people are nice. The facilities are beautiful. They take really good care of her. It's working really well.

Everything I have to say is, 100% positive. They are a five star and then some. My dad picked this one because the suite is the largest, and the way the room is set up in quarters, so there is plenty of room and each area is equally as big. It was far and away the best space with a competitive price. I have eaten lunch with him there, the salads are fresh and crisp, and the hot food is served hot, and the cold food is cold, and they are the cheeriest people serving them, that you have ever seen. They had one little incident, which they were so embarrassed about, we needed nurse coverage, and somehow they dropped the ball between the site and the district. It was the overall district that dropped the ball, not the community, something between the hand off between corporate, and the community. Emeritus at Legacy gardens are great people. Every time he goes to the hospital, the director goes and visits like he is family. They have a motto about creating another family for the residents, and they really do. When he came home from the hospital they were there to greet him. They are the right balance between we gotta be tough and do the right thing, and being loving, and caring, at the same time. I think they are a best kept secret, it's a little off the beaten trail, but if your loved ones are with it, and can manage the metro bus system, they can go on an accessible bus anywhere metro services, for three dollars and change, and have someone ride with them for free. Legacy will even load him on the bus, but they aren't staffed to ride with him.

Things have gone very well with Emeritus at Stow, I'd give them top marks across the board! It's an attractive, clean, well kept community, and everyone has been very friendly. You just get a good feeling when you walk in, the whole place has a warm, homey atmosphere.

We're very pleased with how things have gone with The Inn at Willow Falls. My love one really seems to be enjoying herself here! She was very reluctant when it came to moving to a community, but the staff here were very friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure she felt comfortable and at home.

Emeritus was wonderfully welcoming to my entire family. They invited my Grandma for lunch to see the facility after touring. As a trial, Grandma was evaluated and checked in for a respite stay. This has been wonderful- allowing her to try the facility to feel comfortable before moving in. She has had nothing but good things to say about the staff and food.

Top rate in all respects. Highly recommended.

For those out there going through the process of finding a care facility for your loved one and struggling with not knowing which one will treat your family member like one of their own.....stop looking. Our mother was in two facilities before Merrill Hills. The level of care and love she received here was a blessing to her and to her family. Her room was kept spotless, the food was incredible. I don't think there was a single person there who didn't know her and her family by name. You will never find anyone parked in a wheelchair in the hallway idle and lonely. Everyone is engaged in activities even if just watching. They made us feel welcome always, and in Mom's last days we could see genuine care and concern in all their faces. Mom wasn't just a number to them; she was loved by them. If you want a facility where you will be at ease when you can't be there this is it. I can't think of a thing more important than that.

My 2 sisters and myself have never encountered such a caring and friendly community of caregivers as Merrill Hills Manor and the attached Seasons Hospice. We had Mom in 2 places prior to Merrill Hills and the other 2 couldn't come close to the friendliness and caring of the staff at Merrill Hills and Seasons. We did our homework thoroughly after the first 2 places and found out dollar wise they are all about the same. But when it comes to loved ones you cannot put a price tag on their care. We highly recommend Merrill Hills Manor!

Saw again. Toured with Kim whom is delightful. Most affordable around I believe but feel that I will still get resistance from my brothers.

I struggled between memory care and assisted facilities for mom. While we were aware her dementia was worsening and her vision was severely limited, we weren't sure if she needed the full-time intervention offered by memory care facilities or if she could function enough to enjoy simple assisted living. Now that she has been at Emeritus for over a month, she is settling in well attending functions and eating regularly. Being around others with less severe impairment seems to be beneficial, and the mood swings have decreased. Not to mention that the price is fantastic for the fine level of care. Very happy with our choice.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This place as VERY nice looking! It was very clean, the staff were all friendly and professional, and the care and amenities they provided looked excellent! This was one of the nicest places we saw during our touring. Unfortunately it was also one of the more expensive options, and outside of the price range we were looking in.
