If I could have given this place less than one star I would have. Sure this facility is beautiful (when memory care isn't covered in cheap dollar tree crap) but that's about all it has going anymore. It used to be so well run with staff who you could tell cared about everything and everyone. Sadly months ago that all changed. Almost all the directors and replaced. The new executive director is cold and not to be trusted. And no one seems to care anymore, especially management. Too many other options in town to deal with all the problems here! Save yourself the headache!

Facility was nice. Clean. Kitchen staff was fine and food was okay. Management was non existent after move in and would not return phone calls. Nursing staff was at a very high turnover. Head of nursing wouldn't ever return emails or phone calls.

My Uncle spent 17 days at this facility in memory care . He was doing fine until he refused to take his medication. He had an episode and was taken to the hospital, spent 10 days.on [date removed] the payment of $[removed] was taken out of his account. I had to find another facility for him before he got out of the hospital, because they were not going to accept him back. He also broke a window which we had to pay for replacement. His move in date was [date removed]. 17 days of care cost $[removed]. $[removed]for the deposit ,$[removed]for the retro amount and $[removed] for the broken window. . I received the refund on [date removed]. This could have been avoided if it had been handled differently. He has been at a different facility almost a month and is thriving. He is 85 years old and has dementia. This was stressful and expensive. A big thank you to [name removed] for helping get the refund. Without her help I would still be waiting for the refund. This facility promised they could handle him.

Not a good experience! My mom stuff is taken and used on others. The staff is very NASTY!

Stay far away! Majority of the photos on this site are not even close to reality. This place looks like it’s about to fall apart any second. Extremely outdated for the prices they are asking for a Resident to pay. Common areas are unkempt. Bathrooms filthy. Ceiling tiles stained, falling out. Elevators old and slow. Looks like nothing has been updated in the building since the early 70’s. It smelled of must. My husband and I were shocked at how different it was from the photos on the website. We called for IL and my husband had to call the sales person multiple times to try to schedule. Never received a call back. Had to stop in unexpected to try to catch someone to give us a tour. Desk workers had to call several Managers before finally getting someone to reluctantly give us a tour. Construction happening, residents were sleeping in common area, there was no activities, so they must have fallen asleep due to boredom. Residents looked miserable. Save yourself time and go somewhere else

The high scores this place gets was from the previous owners. This place is grossly mismanaged on a variety of levels. Only care about the almighty dollar and not the best interest of the Residents. In one year they have been through more Directors then I can even keep count of and I don’t see the current ones being there for much longer either. Calls go unanswered, no call backs, communication is non existent. I am currently touring other Facilities for my loved one.

Yeah, this place is getting worse and worse over time. Where to start, how about the management team up front that only sit in their offices, and when you do see them, they are leaving for lunch, which seems like all the time. They are lazy and, to be honest, one of the worst run business I've ever seen in my life. Once, when two of them came back from lunch, they smelled of alcohol and to what some employees say that quite often they smell of it. The sales lady lies and ignores the residents when they finally move in. The Executive Director seems like a child and has no clue what she doing at all. The nurses, well, when they have them are I guess decent, but they come and go like changing clothes. The aids do nothing at all besides sit around and talk or play on their phone. I pressed my mom's pendent, and it took over an hour for them to come to the room. Basically this place needs new management all in all clean house and start over the management team!

I informed them my husband could have aggressive behavior, he was in memory care. He wasn't there 10 days and I was getting phones calls about his behavior in the middle of the night. Even though their sales staff and director assured me their staff could handle things. I was put on notice to remove him after 15 days. He is now at [community removed] and it is night and care and staff. Inspired living staff would call me and ask me what to do with him. I would tell them if I knew that he would be home with me. I would not recommend this memory care facility to anyone their answer was to drug my husband to take care of him. I was required to hire 24/7 caregivers while he was still there and they voiced concerns about his condition with the drugs he was being given.

Well I'll put it this way a place for mom was very good. As for hidden hill it was all good but turned out to be not so good once he was moved in nothing went like they said end of story would not recommend them [name removed] passed away last year so it doesn't matter anymore

I have a very close relative in this facility and there isn't enough personnel to care for all these poor people and the ones there don’t have empathy for these patients at all. The aids are always on their phones, that door that goes out the parking lot doesn't work, the alarm of that side door doesn’t sound to when going out. They don't really care for these people as i watched one lady in the front office area walk right past a resident asking for help. Honestly it was disgusting what i saw and witnessed it myself. I tried to spoke Director about what I seen but she told the lady up front she was busy and closed her door which was very disrespectful. After that incident I knew this place is no good for anybody. when I go the Memory Care part of the building it always smells like urine. The aids always sit around the kitchen area and talk on the phone and ignore the residents. This plave is out of control and you can't speak to anybody in the front offices as they are always gone.

I would never recommend that horror show of a place to anyone. Worst place I could've ever admitted my father.

When my relative moved in this assisted living facility it was [community removed]. [community removed] was recently taken over by Mira Via. After [community removed] was taken over by Mira Vie, the quality of care became awful. We paid extra for the facility to supply my relative with her medication and there were a minimum of 2 instances where the medication was not delivered. The facility had a GI outbreak and the relatives of the tenants were not notified and there were no signs posted at the facility. My relative had a infection and it took days for them to do the bloodwork. If you call the nurses office, the office will never get back to you. In order to minimize the impact of the poor medical care, we even hired a private aid that supported my relative 10 hours a day. Due to the poor medical care we rushed my relative to another facility and disposed of her couch in their trash and now the facility is charging us $[removed].

What they could improve on - Everything!!! They're inattentive to their patients/residents. Among other things. At least that was my experience. I wouldn't let anyone else I know place a loved one there!!

The memory care was absolutely horrible for my mom. Most of the staff was lazy, not educated on dementia, didn't care about anyone but did care about getting their lunch order to Sheetz. The nurses didn't work well with Careline Hospice (horrible too). My dad is in Assisted living, no house doctor for entire building just nurse practioner. He gets evening meds at 9:00pm most nights, most people are sleeping at that hour. Staff isn't consistent, actually short staffed. Some weekends hardly anyone. On tour they make you think it's like a 5 star resort but in reality it's not.

Run Don't walk away from this place!! They're extremely nice when they're "selling" Themselves as a caring clean operation. Once your loved one is placed there the cleanliness AND caring goes out the window. My family and I went to visit my father at the facility shortly after he apparently had fallen out of bed for at least the second time within two months (my family and I had taken care of my dad for 3+yrs prior to him entering the facility and he NEVER fell) And to our surprise his room looked like a crime scene. There was blood still on the floor of his room and on his bedding. Wait It gets better!! While we were taking my dad outside for some fresh air my wife noticed that he was walking oddly. When I pulled up his shirt to check on his pants he was wearing his roommates pants!!! My father wears a size 38 waist and is 6'4" His roommate is probably a 32 waist and under 6'. How they got him in those pants I'll never know but they did. And when I confronted them on the condition of the room and where his pants were I was met with blank looks and no answers. Needless to say This place is a total disaster and I couldn't recommend it in good conscience to ANYONE!!!

We moved Mom into [community removed], where she was very happy and well cared for. Distinctive living bought Chelsea and changed it to Mira Vie. The problems began shortly after they took over. Unfortunately they did not take into consideration this was a memory care facility not Senior Living. Complaints about how nasty and greasy the food was, scrambled eggs were greasy and nasty, her Ginger Ale, when available tasted watered down. Representatives went in the seniors rooms while they were at lunch "to take measurements" without first notifying the families or the residents, leaving closet doors opened and things moved. Upsetting a whole wing of people. With this just the beginning of her complaints. Mom's became agitated and we noticed she was becoming more confused, to the point she told us she wanted Out of this prison NOW. We moved Mom out of there in July. We don't know what Mira Vie's intentions were, but the went about it the wrong way. With that being said, we were not pleased with the live meet and greet over the internet they did for residence families, it was more like a "Look who we are" and gave most of the people online with them the impression they cared more about their image then the Seniors they claimed to care for. So, we have nothing good to say about Moms experience or ours.

If you like the price to go up 3 times in 6 months. He had a broken wrist and bed sores. They never informed us of injuries and money price increases. When they took [cost removed] out of the checking account without an explanation I Gave them a 3-month notice for moving out. Then when I moved him out they told me I didn't give the notice and tried to charge me [cost removed] They play a great game with your health and money. Don't let your loved ones go there.

I have a relative in this facility which does not have enough personnel and the ones there don’t have empathy for these patients. The cares they are a lot on their phones, that door that goes out the packing patients escape from back there, the alarm of that back door doesn’t sound to loud. No one can hear it from up front. They are not really pain attention to these patients. No commitment at all. I saw and witnessed it myself. And I spoke about it to the director [name removed], and nothing was done about it. After that incident they treated me like it was my fault And when I go the other side it always smells like urine. There’s a male patient always lock up in his room screaming for help and no one pays attention to him.

[name removed] passed away [date removed]. He got a blood infection during his 13 days there. He got septic was on a vent in the ICU for several days. I got him home with Hospice. I don't recommend that place at all. Not enough staff at night and to get better care and supervision you have to pay more. I regret going there and [name removed] deserved better. My heart is broken over it.
