Cleanliness - between a 3 - 4 - it seems that the areas on the main floor where they would be seen the most by visitors are very clean but there are areas on the other floors that the corners, moldings, and baseboards definitely need attention. My aunt's room is dirty but that's because she won't let the cleaning staff do anything. Friendliness of staff - 5 - Excellent, especially the maintenance workers [name removed] and [name removed]. My aunt is a difficult, aggressive person so I know that she challenges the staff to provide the level of care that she needs - but I've had, on several occasions, issues with getting the nurses to call me back - I called several weeks ago to get a copy of my aunt's medical records - twice - never got a callback - I call to ask status of her care - same thing. Meals/Dining hard to rate because my aunt isn't happy with the food but one of her neighbors down the hallway told me yesterday that she likes the food. Activities N/A my aunt doesn't participate because the activities are on a different floor than she is and she's mostly blind. Mira Vie is the least expensive facility in the area but she still pays a little over [fee removed] for a tiny room a month which I feel is still overpriced - in my opinion ALL facilities are overpriced, some worse than others. Would I recommend Mira Vie? If your loved one is mobile, can see and hear reasonably well with no major health issues that would warrant multiple outside doctor visits, then YES

I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. They seem to have problems with mixing up clothes.

My loved one has lived here for nearly 8 years. She has been very happy. When she was more cognizant. She told me she liked the activities, but that she could do what she wanted to do or not do. I think they do an excellent job of assessing the resident's level of what they can do. The atmosphere is very upbeat and loving. We have been very happy mom is here.

They are doing much better with friendliness. We picked them because of the outdoor area.

I have been here for 4 years. There has been a lot of changes and we are so happy for it. I love the games and people here. They have become my family. I really enjoy the destination dinners. I miss Dean our old driver but the new one is doing great.

The management staff is excellent. They listen and take appropriate action. The day time patient care staff are kind and caring. Afternoon and overnight staff seem not as caring. My first contact at Inspired Living assured me patients were checked hourly overnight and confirmed with me my husband would be shaved as part of his personal care. Neither of those issues are correct. It would be best to have everyone on the same page. For some reason mornings are rushed and some mornings my husband is not given an opportunity to wash his face or brush his teeth. The excuse is there is not enough time. Would you like to be rushed to breakfast with out washing your face brushing teeth and barely getting dressed?

My wife has been there for over a year. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly and willing to do anything you may not find to your liking. Meals are on time. And rooms are kept clean and tidy. Im glad I found Liana's . I feel my wife has adjusted to living there.

[name removed] and I have been here over 1 year and we have no complaints, all employees treat us extremely well. [name removed]and [name removed]are extremely pleasant and professional. The house keepers are very good . Every staff member greets us with sincerity. One thing l do not approve off, staff asking to weighing us and our blood pressure. We do this daily in our apartment and our primary care Dr. Is aware of them.

There is a lot of turnover, which made it hard to communicate, but I think that's pretty standard for this type of job. The facility is great and I would most likely recommend it, but I don't have another one to compare it to. I know they say not to visit a lot in the beginning, but I think the more you show your face they will get to know you better and understand that you are going to be an advocate for your loved one. The more you can communicate with them the better.

Disappointed with the facility. We had electricity out in 1/2 of the room. Staff said no one to fix. No one is available for emergency situations such as this? Elevator has been out of service since we moved dad in. Ants in room. Had to wait till next day to treat. Staff seems slow to respond to his requests. For the money he is paying it seems inadequate not to have people on call for services.

Anyone new that decides this is facility for their loved one they should work with [name removed], she makes things happen!! Wonderful to work with!! They all complain about the food but none of them understand about the dietary restrictions. Quality of care is more about slow response.

We liked it. For some reason, the staff changes frequently. But it seems that way with every place. But like I said as soon as his condition got worse, we had to move him somewhere else.

Quite comfortable

We love the aides. Our loved one eats in her room but the food is good. She does not participate in the activities, so no comment on them. The value to cost is average - basic cost is good but the extra service adds up to a lot.

Inspired Living Center is a beautiful facility. It has lots of outside space and has an outside walking path that is one of the main reasons we chose Inspired for our mother. The one bedrooms are spacious and inside sitting areas are very inviting. The dining room is large and although my mother has her minor complaints the meals are plentiful and available all day . I worked with [name removed] and [name removed]for many months and they were very helpful and always available . Now everything is not perfect but minor inconveniences has not changed our minds that our mother is in a safe place and good hands

It is always difficult to place a loved one in any kind of a facility. I have found that the staff here are genuinely concerned and involved with the residents. The healthcare is good, and staff try to keep residents involved with various interesting events. The esthetics could be better- the flooring in the main lobby and hallway really needs to be replaced. The apartments are adequate, and the food is varied and acceptable. There is always an off menu option available. Overall, I would recommend this facility.

My mother [name removed], 83, stayed at Mira vie for three months over the summer. She was in the process of deciding if living at a home or at an apartment with help would be her long-term option. After three months and lots of positive things to say about Mira vie, She ultimately chose to move into an apartment near her son. Was happy with the level of service, although she was quite healthy so did not use a lot of service beyond 8 sessions of physical therapy and the social activities run by the staff. Her only feedback was the quality of the food which she thought was not very high standard and occasionally too salty. She wishes there was more flexibility in bringing your own food or changing things in the menu based on resident requests. Therefore, her decision to leave is not any specific issue with Mira vie, but her desire to live with part-time help in her own apartment

An explanation of grade for care is the facility is understaffed especially on the weekend. She has had to press her button at times and waits a long time for a response. When my mom entered the facility we were told front desk would be manned 24/7. No one is there after about 8 pm. For the number 3 for the food, I must say the dining area is wonderful and the staff so very nice but everyone complains about the food. When she entered we were told there was a well thought of chef. There isn't. I am fully aware that folks in these facilities have to complain about something and usually the food is what they complain about. That is probably the one thing my mother would change. Need more variety. Explanation of the value- The overall facility is wonderful. The reason I lowered the grade was because of the food and understaffed. There used to be a physician who comes every Tuesday. She seems nice but trying to refill prescriptions is unbelievably difficult. The director of the facility is FABULOUS. He is always available to anyone with concerns. He has monthly meetings with the residents and works tirelessly to handle every situation. The staff and management are superb. It certainly is not cheap. We are paying roughly $[removed] a month for a two bedroom unit. She manages her own medication so we have no up charges. Honestly, I don't think we could ask for a more pleasant environment. Also know that the management /owner is on site.
