Everyone is super friendly and tries to be VERY helpful. Very spacious facilities with lots of open clean spaces or relaxing or visiting.

It's a beautiful facility, the food is really nice for the patients, nice dinning areas. The apartments are spacious. It is sometimes difficult to talk to the staff. My sister was used to 24 hour care with Cornerstone Caregiving and is adjusting to not having someone with her for 24 hours.

What we like the most about the community is that they people are nice and attentive, facility is well kept and clean. Yes, we would recommend Mira Vie Brick to other families.

The staff for the most part are wonderful and attentive. From [removed names] at the front desk to [removed name] the nurse and everybody in between the staff is friendly. There were a few bad apples there for a while but I no longer see them there. One thing I was concerned about in the beginning is that the caregivers did not speak English and I think that may have been a little bit of a confusion for my mom, but this past year they have hired more bilingual employees which I think makes a huge difference and I'm very happy about that. The monthly COUNTRY adventure program that they do combined with the food is very awesome. Say it's Spain. They will have a Spanish singer/pro former and food from Spain and the tables and whole room decorated up. Family is invited and encouraged to join. Ive been to several and Mom really enjoys those. The activity director Amanda is awesome. She keeps the residence engaged with games or crafts so that is a plus. Having the outdoor space has been very good for my mom so she doesn't feel like she's locked in and she can walk in the garden anytime she wants that's been a plus. They also do yearly holiday events that are wonderful and the staff is very involved and seem to enjoy themselves as well. The food is OK it kinda was a little dull and boring cause I've eaten there several times but they've hired a new chef a couple weeks ago so I have yet to really see what they're gonna be producing. It was nutritional but a little on the plain side, but Mom seemed to like everything OK I did have to request to cut her food up for her. Her room is always spic and span clean and the room size has proven to be perfect for her needs. Her laundry is always done and hung up nice and neat. She is always very clean and has access to the beauty shop. She's happy there which is most important. ??

The only thing that I found annoying is the lack of being introduced to who does what. Which staff to talk to.I didn't know what [removed names] were in charged of until I bothered them one at a time. The phone is also very confusing. My husband got sicker on the eve of him being transferred to your facility. So I canceled it and removed the furniture within 2 days. It says in the information booklet that a refund takes 35 days but talking to accounting this morning it takes 45 days. He didn't even moved in, what is there to calculate?

Staff is helpful and friendly. I recommend them...no place is perfect, but mira vie has been good in most ways.

I would not recommend the MC unit - it is much more like a long-term care facility where people get parked in front of the TV all day. They schedule 3 activities for the day, but they are almost always cancelled. Some of the staff in MC are burned out and unfriendly, but there are some good staff back there (just not many). The staff in the rest of the facility overall are good and congenial, and the services (housekeeping, PT, OT, etc.) are good. The handoff from sales/signing to the care manager is rocky and took a long time to happen. I've eaten there and feel it is passable, but there is nothing to write home about. I do worry it is not a low-sodium diet, which all seniors should be on IMHO. Special diets for certain medical conditions are not accommodated. The location is good, with Emergency right across the street. (UTMC is the closest hospital.) One good thing to know is that there is no nursing staff in the building overnight. I'd rate the Assisted living a 4 out of 5, but the memory care a 2.5

Outstanding employees. Communication among staff needs to be improved. Very caring staff to residents. Would recommend to anyone in need of memory care and physical care

I have had experiences with various assisted living facilities in the past when taking care of several family members: I must say that the staff here at this facility is one of the most responsive I have ever encountered. The staff is friendly, helpful and if they don’t know the answer to your question, they will research it and get back to you promptly. The aides that tend to the residents are very kind and helpful. The facility is always clean and pleasantly decorated.

I haven't had anything in regards to the food but it looks good and our loved one seems fine with it. What we like the most about the community is that they get my our loved out to participate in activities rather than staying in her room. They always seem friendly. Most days she likes it there.

The facility seemed unprepared for my visit with no warm water and a refrigerator that quit working several times, spoiling the contents. The people were friendly but seemed disorganized with a staff change about three weeks before I moved in.

Mira Vie was so good to us! I am thankful. They were very gracious with my dad, but unfortunately, my dad had a level of dementia not fit for Mira Vie! I send my love to all the staff. They were very patient

The staff is friendly and attentive. Food is very good and plentiful. The facility is always kept clean and neat. They keep a close eye on the medications. There is always some type of entertainment or activity going on, some of which include family members. Most basic medical visits are on site, which leads me to my one major issue. The medical staff seems well qualified and does a good job, but as the primary person responsible for my mother's health care, it's very difficult to get information about who she sees her and what the prognosis is. I usually find out that a Dr. has seen her when I get the Medicare statement. This is an issue I'm working through. Overall I would recommend Mira Vie.

Inspired was bought by another company several months ago. Many of the regular staffers resigned, many were kept on ( Activity Dept., PT/OT) . New owners brought their own people in. I have seen many changes for the better, happy to admit that. Most challenging is the language barrier...... all the residential attendees speak Spanish only, difficult to communicate with them. My husband's room is immaculate, his closet and clothing meticulously hung up and arranged. Nice scent throughout the facility.

I would. Great place to live. The staff is friendly and the food is good. They provide many activities and help you feel welcome

My relative was at Mira Vie in West Milford. She liked it there very much and felt that she got good care. She made friends and enjoyed the ambience of the place.

Mira Vie is okay. My ex-husband never was and obviously still is difficult. However, l feel they need more staff, not only for the patients' care, but also for maintenance of the facility. But, I have nothing but respect, admiration and appreciation for the staff.

I will give them a 4 only because there was a change in management that seems to have shifted the "vibe" there over the last 3 months or so. I would recommend.

The staff is very sweet. They try to keep them all busy. My dad always looks and smells clean. A negative would be most of the Techs speak very little English, so it was hard to communicate.
