My mother complains that the dining room is too cold and it makes her food cold. Staff are all nice to her and very caring. My mother is not used to socializing and needs coaxing to participate with activities.

My Mother has been at the facility for approximately 45 days as of today. The facility is very clean and the staff is very nice and attentive to her needs. I love that her medical needs can be met on-site. And the dinning program is excellent. She is on a waiting list for Independent living and is struggling with the social interactions with others in the Assisted Living environment. We were informed that she can go to the Independent living side and participate in their activities. So they do try and problem solve to meet the needs of the residents.

My favorite part of Inspired Living Ivy Ridge would be the staff. They're very warm and loving towards my mom and get back to me very quickly if I have any questions. The facility is clean and well taken care of.

Super friendly staff. Facility well located near highways. Less ideal is residents want to walk outside of the premises. My mom liked to take long walks and was slightly restrained by the location

I thought the staff did well, by and large. I liked most of the staff. I think they are not equipped for when people have a lot of needs. When my dad had more needs, he needed maybe oxygen, maybe a 2-person assist, they couldn't take him anymore, but that's true with most places.

The staff is very warm; the meals are wonderful. I do think it was not a great fit for my Dad, who really needed more intensive medical care than the staff was used to providing. The staff here is wonderful. This would be a good fit for a senior who's reasonably healthy and enjoys a warm, cozy environment with gentle activities, good food, and a bit of peace and quiet.

What we like the most about Inspired Living is the cleanliness and the friendliness of the administrative staff, they are great. Where they are lacking is the ratio of residents to caregivers. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families but they need to get more caregivers

Quality of care is a hard one to rate because it varies from caregiver to caregiver. I would give an overall rating of 4. Some caregivers would rate as a 5 while some rate as a 3. Yes, I would recommend this community to others and I have done so already. The search is a hard one because what the top people think or hope is the truth about their facility is not always the case. To the tenant of your facility it is tied to the care givers. Based on my experience (not just at Inspired Living) the peace and comfort of the tenant is tied to a great degree to the care givers. I have seen them all, the really good who care, the really bad that are just putting in time, the dishonest who will steal from you and lie about you, those who do only what they have to, etc. I am sure you know all this so I will stop here. All the staff from top to bottom are ultra important to the tenant at any facility like yours.

The initial interview was very informative and understood. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we were able to enter and put things in. Staff got back to me in a timely fashion.

Staffing always a problem & the attendants weren't proactive in changing out Depends so they waited until the resident was wet & all the clothes needed to go in laundry. I noticed many wet pants in my time there. Way too much trivia on TV since there was little interest in it. Many more active females than men so activities skewed toward them. The outside garden out back was a favorite of many residents. Musical presentations were also well attended & appreciated by residents & family members

My wife's been a resident now for almost a month. Majority of the staff are pretty nice. The meals don't seem to be warm enough when they're presented to the residents. Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with this facility compared to others I've visited.

Some of the kindest most caring caregivers and housekeepers work here. Administration response slow. We would recommend this community to other families with caveats. Kind , caring ,attentive staff. Clean and friendly facility. Could improve on activities. Obtain written clarification of fiscal arrangements in advance.

I have placed my aunt in Mira Vie. I would recommend this senior living location in West Milford, NJ. Everyone is very friendly and the facility is very nice. The location is conveniently located from my home which makes visiting very easy.

I have a family member at the Brick location. The facility is amazing. The staff is exceptional ,specially the activities staff they go way above and beyond for there residents. [name removed] the director is one in a million. She goes out of her way for every resident. She makes sure to keep the resident engaged daily and with many fun activities. [name removed] is also a amazing part of the team and excellent assett to the residents.

We chose Inspired Living at Kenner because it was clean and had access to the outside area. Ways to improve: Hire employees that encourage participation. Do more than bingo. With outside access they could have planting by my Mom misses her garden.

Very nice facilities and clean, strong value for money. Tradeoff is few activities and pretty lackluster food for independent living. I'm torn between a 3 and 4 overall. Because the price was just much lower than the other options we saw and that weighs heavily in the decision.

Overall staff are very friendly and helpful. My mother is very happy there. The facility is a little old. The new managers have said they intend to update it but the work has been slow to start.

I think the nursing staff does a good job, by and large. They seem to be mostly strong people. To improve the food, perhaps they could have more meat. Not sure if they serve a whole lot of meat. Maybe they could serve steak.
