Since the company sold to the new owners it has really changed. The food is terrible. So we are spending extra money on food that we didn't budget for. There are now certain things that were provided are now up to us to purchase when needed. It seems the staff has been slimmed down as well. I would recommend this community to others, but they need to fix whatever is going on with their dietary department. The residents deserve a lot better than what they are getting. They may be old but they need decent food to help keep them healthy for as long as possible.

The staff here is amazing. I called in wanting to ask some general questions and was helped by [name removed]. I'd like to recognize you for answering all questions with such professionalism and courtesy. Your ability to engage thoughtfully and thoroughly, without appearing rushed, is truly commendable. Thank you for your excellent communication! Look forward to having a tour soon.

The location was a big factor. I'm a mile away from my brother. The apartment was very nice. The staff were friendly. The staff is very receptive to any questions or issue I might have.

The facility is very clean, the staff is caring and friendly. My mother is happy. Administration is always available. We are very happy with the Discovery experience.

All categories get a 5 except for the food, that's probably a 2-3. The facility is very clean and smells good! Staff is top notch. They go above and beyond to make sure the residents' needs are being met, and they do it with a great attitude. My parents are very content there.

I went to WV and there were two women scrubbing the base trim on their knees... very clean. Very spacious apartments/bathrooms are off the bedrooms, nice setting.

What we like the most about Solstice Senior Living is the friendly staff and the location is good. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families.

Fewer wheel chair residents which she likes. Two options for dinner— assistant living dining along with main dining area for independent residents. Nursing staff is empathetic and competent. Head RA Nurse is excellent. We are happy and my Mom is happy. All good!

This is a wonderful place for our Dad! He is so happy and loving being there! [name removed], the Director, is so wonderful too! She truly made this transition seamless and easy for all of us. I thank “A Place For Mom” for all their help! Couldn’t have made a better decision!

My Mother moved up to Sugar Hill from FL to Benton House. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Mother has transitioned well. She enjoys the activities and the daily routine. I would recommend for your loved one.

My entire family is just so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for Mom to live. Mom really loves her apartment now and we think she is very happy there.

It was not too big, it was very well maintained and close to my home. The entire staff is friendly, kind and professional.

From the tour, through the move in, and this first month of the experience my mother has felt so welcome and so comfortable. After 95 years of working hard with the daily toil of cooking and cleaning and worrying about maintenance issues she is finally “living like a queen” as she deserves. She has enjoyed meeting new people and making friends with staff and other residents. She loves maintaining her cherished independence. She also loves the food! Solstice lives up its name “the end of one season and the beginning of a new exciting season”. At 95 yrs old - who knew?!

What we like the most about Brookdale San Jose is the friendliness of the residents and the kindness of the staff. My aunt was integrated very quickly and has been allowed to get involved helping. She loves it and is always busy. I also appreciate that someone is always at the front desk and the doors are locked at night. The grounds are also kept up nicely.

The staff are very easy to work with. Apartment sizes are nice, they offer 1 and 2 bedrooms.

My sisters and I had to place our older brother, who has Parkinson’s Disease, in a new place to live. The Forum exceeded our expectations on every level. Warm, welcoming, cheerful and elegant !! He’s a proud man who resisted going, but now he is SO glad he moved !! They literally roll out the red carpet to welcome everyone. From the pool to the art studio to the movie theatre with recliners, it’s really FUN !! And when he declines further the assisted living is across the street.

The staff there are amazing. The facility is clean and so far exceed my expectations. My mom is very happy and please with the ammoties. Great security and mom feels at home. For our family no regrets best choice ever.Best part is, I can visit mom whenever I like.

My mother in law loves the care and ambiance at the Point. She likes the size-not too small, not too big. Food has been good and her care team makes her feel special. Staff was very helpful with move in. We like that it is close to where we live. We wish the room was ADA accessible as she is in a wheelchair most often. But she can stand up from her wheelchair in the bathroom and hold on to the counter and wall. Although she is shy/tired to join, it seems like there are interesting activities every week.
