I love Allegria, I give Allegria 5+ stars. The food is good here. The nursing staff is very nice and friendly. I get to hang out with my friends. I like to go to bingo, crafts and the night time movie. I love that I can walk to the beach and the lake. I love with the therapy dog Coco visits.

We toured this community and it was a very good tour. The staff was extremely helpful and had lots of good information for us.

The staff are friendly and the residents seem happy to live here. I was impressed with the rooms. The food looks good and nutrional. It's pet friendly. There are outdoor areas and activities for memory care. It is more $$ than the other places I have visited. On the down side, it is 30 minutes from our house.

They're very caring. The staff really cares about everybody. They make it very comfortable for the residents. It's secure. Overall I've been pleased with everything. A while back there was an ownership change - it used to be the Waterford. Most of the staff stayed the same, but they got a new chef and kitchen staff. My loved one has not been as happy with the the food since then. Options have been more limited. But they have loads of activities, which is just awesome. They have outings, and they do provide a lot of diverse things. Overall, she really does love the place. She's been very happy there.

This is a place where staff makes you feel like family and the atmosphere feels like home. The community fosters independence yet help is nearby if it is needed. Anyone looking for assisted living should look here!

The community is clean, spacious, and friendly. Everyone is helpful. You can hire staff to do anything you'd like. Sometimes the food options aren't always available for every day. I would highly recommend the community to others.

We chose Morada Friendswood because of the location, the size of her room was large (she was able to fit all of her antique furniture), and it was beautiful. Her room does not have a kitchen but they did give us a refrigerator and microwave. They do charge extra for memory care medications and for help with bathing, so it did increase the price. I have recommend them to several families, the facility is very clean, the people here seem well taken care of, and the staff really care about their residents. I feel that my mom is safe here and she has made a lot of friends which has helped her a lot.

A beautiful and well presented community. Not sure she would need all that assisted gives.

The staff has made me comfortable with placing my stepdad there. He has more of a social life then when he lived alone. The place is always clean, staff friendly and they always keep me informed. They did exceptionally well handling the COVID crisis. I know I chose the best place for him that helps with my guilt of always saying I would never place a relative in LTC. It’s not about me , it’s what is best for him. Thank you Whitlock for being who you are.

Whitlock place has been a godsend for my mom. Her apartment has all her stuff in it to make it feel like home and everyone really worked so hard to keep everyone safe and loved ones updated during the pandemic. [name removed] went above and beyond to accommodate my mom and knows exactly what each resident needs. Chad helped hook my moms Alexa up so we could still see each other when we weren’t allowed in the building, also a shout out to Aspen my mom can be a pill and she just has a way with her and will always scratch her back for her. I can’t say enough everyone goes the extra mile.

A few years ago it became obvious to my family & I that my mother was no longer able to care for herself because she was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. After much research with regards to full service private pay facilities in Lafayette, we chose Digby. My mother was NOT pleased when we informed her that she would have to leave her home of 25+ years. It took her a couple of weeks to adjust to her new environment, but the excellent staff at Digby Place made the transition easier. Prior to becoming a resident at Digby Place, she had little social interaction, did not eat well, & rarely did anything physical. She now has made new friends, enjoys the great food, & participates in daily group activities. Digby’s staff assists her as needed & kept me well informed of her status when visits were limited due to Covid. I'm very thankful for the team at Digby & their assistance in raising the level of her quality of life. She is doing so well now she might out live me!

We chose Solstice Senior Living because I thought the friendliness and follow up from the staff members was great. The price was also a bargain, the facility looked clean and it is in a good area. I think the apartment sizes here are adequate. The food here is good, they do provide a menu with choices to choose from. Overall it is a great place and we have no complaints at all. I would not hesitate putting a family member here.

Have lots of money before you get here. But that being said, there's not much to not like. When they feed you two meals a day, clean your house once a week, take care of the yard once a week and the flower beds whenever it's needed, and the people are friendly. It's everything that one needs. We left a house that we could no longer take care of. And there's not much storage here, so you do have to really downsize. We have friends out here, and we've made a lot of friends since we've been here. Nobody here is unfriendly. The one drawback is they're having a hard time keeping staff. I'm not sure of the reason. The pandemic could be a factor. But the staff that is working here seems to be friendly and satisfied. They just can't keep housekeepers or kitchen staff.

The cleanliness of the community is immaculate, the staff members are the best and they do have some activities going on. However the food here is terrible, it is terrible terrible. There is no solution to the problem as of right now, they are understaffed so there is not a good dining service. However for what we are getting and what we are paying we do think it is a good value.

We did a virtual tour with this community and i loved it. The community was nice and the staff was funny and friendly.

Our family was able to do an in person tour and the facility was very nice. Our overall experience was very good, the communication was straight forward and the property was kept very clean.

This is a truly special senior living community. It is the perfect size without being too overwhelming to maneuver. It’s a great place to be able to maximize independence while knowing help is available and readily accessible if needed. The leadership and staff are approachable and readily available to assist with not only care but acclimating residents to a new environment in a way that makes it feel like home the minute you walk in the door.
