My mother has been a resident of Morningside of Wilmington, Memory Care facility for two happy years. She will be 98 next Tuesday. Since Covid has entered our lifestyle, I understand one of the biggest challenges management has, is labor. You have a wonderful staff at your Wilmington NC facility. [name removed] has an open door policy. I’m glad to say, when I have stuck me head in the door it’s just to say hello. [name removed] is a constant source of help and information for me. The whole staff is helpful, but I need to give HUGE PRAISE to[name removed], the BTR Director/ memory care. She came onboard and hit the ground running. [name removed] had made a huge difference with the resistances. I smile inside and out , with every visit to my mother. She has motivated the staff under her in a positive way , that shows with the care of the residents. I can’t say enough nice things about her and how it’s reflected on my mother.

My husband and I have had a very pleasant experience admitting his father to The Laurels. The professionalism and kindness displayed by the entire staff is nothing less than phenomenal! When we first entertained the idea of placing my father-in-law in The Laurels, we were met by one of the kindest and very professional sales and marketing individuals. Her name is [name removed]. [name removed] calmed our fears of Dad being in a new environment by giving us a tour of their facility, taking our phone calls with additional questions, and then meeting us on more than one occasion to help us complete forms. [name removed] was an angel in disguise for us! What a professional woman she is! Personally, I have had quite a few years of experience in the long-term care industry and wish I/we could give 10 stars instead of the limit of 5 stars to [name removed] and the staff at The Laurels. I have seen all kinds of facilities and have experienced various nursing teams with other family members in other state

My mother has early to mid stage dementia and she’s a very social and outgoing person. We visited a few places but nothing felt like home. On our visit to Preston Greens the staff and the residents made it clear it was the place our mom needed to be. They made it clear the staff was friendly , the food was delicious and there were tons of activities for residents to go. Our mother is doing so much better on a routine, eating healthy meals, making friends and benefiting from the in house physical therapy. Mom couldn’t be happier so we know We made the right choice.

I really loved the staff. So kind, so helpful. And I loved the homey environment, bright and light, lots of windows. And they welcomed me all the time because I was there a lot. Sometimes stayed over with my husband to have more time with him. Lovely place.

Everyone is so welcoming, accommodating and caring. Their apartments are spacious and have good layouts. Their food is good and there are numerous activities. Also, their nurses and health staff are very professional and concerned and caring about every resident.

This was a positive environment. It was clean, luxurious and the staff was very nice. The food in the cafeteria was good. I like the music they played in the lobby as well as the outside courtyard. I think it is important to find a place where the residents can go outside and walk and a large courtyard is good for that.

Overall, it's a great place for my mother. She has a lovely independent living apartment. The housekeeping staff are lovely, and keep her apartment very clean. Her biggest complaint is the food. It is not consistently good. The residents are friendly and she feels very safe there. It was a good choice for her.

[name removed]and [name removed]are the most amazing folks ever!!!! They are fun, super energetic, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! They are always there to greet you and welcome you in. This is the place I want to live someday because of [name removed]and [name removed]!

Senior living paradise! Everything is above what I expected for my Mom. Beautiful building and grounds, the apartments are very nice with several models to chose from. The Dining room is pleasant and wonderful meals. The chefs are very willing to accommodate special diets too. There are arts and crafts, walking group, movie nite, music entertainment and outings to stores, the doctor appointments or just to see the leaves see the fall leaves. Staff is very accommodating too.

My experience over the past year has been very positive. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the residents are warm and welcoming. The facility has been recently updated and they did a good job. The food continues to exceed expectation.

The Veranda Club is a definite choice for serious consideration. Great property location staff amenities. We picked this community because of geography it was the closest Memory Care to my house.

What we like the most about Discovery Commons is the cleanliness, care provided, and open communication. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families

Can-do corporate culture permeates the entire staff. Residents friendly and welcoming! Fun, positive environment with very good dining and activity options. PT and exercise classes available. The service staff is excellent.

It is a great place and I would recommend them.

I am glad to be at Brookdale Des Plaines. I am happy with the health care and services that are available. The staff is professional and friendly and addresses the needs of the residents. I enjoy the socialization with other residents and participate in activities such as the exercise programs and community puzzles.

From the first visit to tour the property , to every interaction after that, U know Dogwood was going to be the best independent living and continuing care option for my dad. The staff has been lovely. Other residents were very welcoming and friendly. The unit we rented is perfect for his needs and the complex amenities provide all the health and welfare benefits I could have hoped for. I look forward to many years at Dogwood and I'm so proud of my dad for making this choice.

I was so pleased with this facility when I visited! The staff are friendly and informative. The meals are hot and customized to the residents health needs. Daily activities for residents are held to promote socialization and cognitive engagement! I attend the events they have because they support such wonderful causes and communities! It’s clear that they have a passion for their residents, and the communities they serve!

Although they've had a lot of turnover and ups and downs, since my father first arrived there, now, they have a wonderfully caring staff. As for the activities, they went through a period when they were not offering a whole lot and what they did offer, was geared towards very active seniors. But under the new management, the activities have gotten better and for a broader, physical abilities level.

My grandmother moved to Heartfields at Easton about a year ago. It’s been the PERFECT fit for her! She has great friends there, the staff is wonderful, and we get the peace of mind that she’s well cared for while maintaining some of her independence.

It is like living at a Resort in this facility. Because of the staff and operating procedures one is more relaxed and can enjoy their old age. Thanks!
