My loved ones complaints are the food is never hot and it takes a long time for maintenance to address problems (understaffed). She has made some nice friends and she enjoys happy hour (social hour)She has said the front doors at the clubhouse don't stay open long enough to push the button and then get on her scooter to get inside. She is otherwise very happy living there.

So far things are going well. Facility staff was very helpful in establishing father in facility. I've had some issues with facility procedures that were not explained beforehand ( e.g. scheduling transportation for medical appointments, hiring someone to accompany patient if family not available, etc.) Facility very clean. Therapy staff excellent. Only issue is having to hire additional personnel to stay in patient's room for added supervision when patient was noncompliant. The cost of this was 4X the monthly facility fee. My father complains constantly about the food. Good variety of activities. Overall very happy with Ashton Grove. Friendly and caring staff. Facility is spotlessly clean and odor-free. I would definitely recommend to a friend or other family members. I would also encourage friends and family to get in touch with A Place for Mom. I probably would not have found this facility without their help.

Staff is very attentive to the residents. I feel that my dad gets checked in on multiple times a day which is so important since he's pretty much room bound. They need a more varied menu and better execution.

The food is a disappointment. It could be so much better. We have no stove. How can you run a 1st class establishment without a stove? (Give me a break)

The ability to meet with residents & guests everyday is a wonderful social time - good for new residents to make friends. Quality & tasty meal is very low.

The move in director has been very nice. [name removed] has been very nice and based on the experience I have had so far with Cherry Blossom Senior Living, I would recommend them to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

It's at low capacity right now so they are giving good incentives. Meal plan may not be worth it depending on how much you eat.

My loved one is currently a resident at Ashton Commons and we are very happy with this facility on all aspects, so far. Based on the experience, I would completely recommend this facility to others! It is the best that I have seen! I wouldn't let my mom go anywhere else.

It is has a very homelike setting! Nice that you can be involved in things or just stay home. Feels like an apartment for her. Love the way they do their dining experience. And love that they have a bar.

They were very helpful explaining the different types of care available when I first visited. They gave me a tour of the rooms available and emailed videos of the facility and features. I observed many activities when I visited such as bingo, Christmas carol singing by residents and children from a school, a guest band playing music. It's immaculately clean. Everyone seems happy. One category I'd add is "Communication" - I've called a few times, left a voicemail and no one called me back. That's why I gave them a 4 overall instead of 5.

Great people, flexible food options, feels good that my loved one is in a place where he can get care. They offered two large bedroooms and a garage.

Beautiful facility, attentive and caring staff, pleasant environment. We picked this community because of the modern approach that fit within the budget.

What our family likes the most about the Ashton Grove community is the location and all of [name removed] help that was given. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Our family had an in person tour with Red Cedar Lodge and we found they did a good job with the overall tour experience, it just came down to room availability for our loved one

We are working thru some issues. When it comes to the cleanliness it is a very nice facility. Everyone there is awesome. With the care services, again we are working through some issues. Generally the good there is good....with they would accommodate gluten free diet. The activities are very creative with a good variety. We were able to work out a good deal with the value.

Apple Blossom was a nice place. The girl who showed me around was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I did like that memory care is in a separate building. It was more expensive and the location for me was not as easy to get to. I had also heard talk that it might be going under, so those were the reasons we did not choose this facility.

The cleanliness of the community gets a 5+. It is a beautiful facility and well designed for senior care. There are no off-putting odors, which was extremely important to us. It is very expensive even for the most basic level of care.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a really nice tour experience and one of our top choices.

We picked this community because it was the only place that would take my loved one. They have new management, so they are trying to get things in order. They are doing some remodeling and getting new furniture. They are going to make it more modern. My loved has Physical Therapy. I would like to get more feedback and communication regarding my loved ones' care. I probably would recommend to other families.

The staff members have been wonderful but we are having an issues with the general cleanliness of the community - it is not always as frequent as it should be like the sweeping and cleaning of the bathroom. We have been there quite a few times during meal service and everything seems to be really good. We were quite surprised by the activities they offer especially on the assisted living side. They have live entertainment, parties, etc. it really is extravagant .
