The social events are great. Free daily happy hour(well not free, I'm sure it's built into the rent) for residents and family. It's been a great motivator to get my college aged daughters over to see their grandmother!

What we like the most about the community is that the employees are very friendly and helpful. Our loved one feels safe there and the location is very convenient for us and the management is always available.

I like the personal care and attentiveness. They could improve on communication. Yes I would recommend this community!

My experience in my independent living cottage is 4. My husband's experience in assisted living and later memory care is less good. AL. 4 and MC. 2 or 3. There has been lots of turnover of directors - both overall director and directors of various departments. Staff are very friendly. It's clear, however, that Highgrove is run by a large corporation. Rents increase annually, which may be inevitable. I now have seen several other communities through my husband's experiences at memory care in other facilities, two of which have now closed. He is now at [community removed], which seems quite good.

Generally clean - but dining area in memory care does not get cleaned after meals. They do, however, clean up, before the next meal. Some employees I would definitely rate a 5. Overall quality is good but weekends and night shift could be improved. A little more variety would be good but I understand it is very hard to get everyone engaged in memory care. The cost of all these places is utterly crazy but considering other facilities, I'm sure it is decent; they do offer quite a lot

We have found the staff to be very accommodating and pleasant. They take their time and are very patient with their residents. There are plenty of activities and events. They are taking good care of Mom! We are very pleased with Highgrove!

The staff speeds on the entrance street. Apartment size is fine and the physical location of the complex is great. Would recommend to others considering this community.

Cherry Blossom Senior Living is a beautiful and clean facility with a staff that is kind and attentive to the needs of the tenants.

We had a good experience there for the most part. I rarely rate anything a 5 because there's always room for improvement.

Over all my complaints were about food... often not hot, & for example, I ordered a chicken salad on a croissant....it came on bread & was a mixture of dark meat of chicken and a little bit of mayonnaise. Nothing else wasn't too impressive. It's super for walking, whether to shop , hold puppies , get a pedicure, have your hair styled, eat at one of the restaurants or just ppl watch! And OSU Outpt Clinic will make doctor appts. easily accessible, plus there is an Urgent Care facility also. Parking was a snap but have no idea with the Community Center right there how that will impact parking & traffic congestion .

It is called 'The beautiful white house" bc it is inside & outside. You really need to take a tour to see for yourself. It is clean, neat, & tastefully decorated for holidays & seasonal changes. They are very family oriented here, and you may invite family to the special holiday events. Some apartments have a balcony you may sit out on & enjoy watching the many walkers, bicyclist, wheelchairist that enjoy the Worthington Hills Park Olentangy Trail or take part in yourself. I do, in my wheelchair. There are patios with rockers & benches, & a patio with a fire pit where picnics can be enjoyed. There are many activities here for all to enjoy.

Make sure families get all the details regarding any additional costs related to services upfront and before you move in. Have them explain to the families who you contact for different questions whether it is facility related questions, care, food, or miscellaneous questions.

The staff is very friendly. From front desk, aides, nurses, servers, maintenance etc. I've been very happy and so has mom.

The facility is beautiful and I think fairly priced. The only issue we have is some of the staff. The long standing staff are wonderful but there seems to be a high turnover and the newer staff either are not trained properly or don't want to do their jobs.

I like the overall bright, clean and friendly atmosphere I encounter when I visit. The food situation has been unfortunate as there has been substantial turnover in the past several months, with no chef for a while and not enough servers. Food has been served barely warm and dining experience no matter what time of day has been extremely slow. A new chef has been hired and my experience two weeks ago was much improved, however.

Staff vey accommodating. Faculty very nice and always clean. No odors. Very accommodating.

Food quality is bad Activities very little /staff changes a lot. The facility is clean.

What I like the most about Apple Blossom is the cleanliness and personal care. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families!

The community is warm, friendly, helpful, and kind to mom. The "apartment" is nice and spacious. The food is above average and mom has gained a little weight. We appreciate the activities though mom does not participate as we had hoped. The onsite salon, chapel, and sitting areas are a plus. There are some staffing issues with turnover common in the industry. We have issues with level of cleaning provided (just not as thorough and strenuous as we like, maybe too high a bar we set), took a while to get med dose packs accurate, response times longer than expected when requesting an aide, laundry service and options do not meet expectations. We chose it mostly because of the location and references from friends and are mostly satisfied. It has only been 6 weeks so expect things to improve with the new ED. Hopefully staffing issues will resolve and consistency and promptness will improve along with a higher level of fastideousness.

Big turnover in staffing, but leveled out and improving. I think the meals are fine, but my brother wishes for better. The cost is steep, but doable for us, and they provide what he currently needs.
