Constant Care Management

My step-father was a resident at Memory Care of Westover Hills. They have the most caring staff and greatest facility. He was always taken care of in a great manor. His room and the rest of the facility was always clean and never smelled. The food was the best that I have ever experienced. I am very pleased with the care that he and us as a family received while he was living out his last days. When Season's Hospice was called in, they along with the staff at Memory Care were the best we could have expected. Thank you all very much for such a comforting time during the last days.

My mother was a resident at Memory Care of Westover Hills. I always have been told that first impressions are lasting. I walked thru the doors of Memory Care of Westover Hills and the welcome that I received was just amazing. The marketing manager ([name removed]) and the Director ([name removed]) of the community were friendly, looked at me when they spoke to me, were both friendly, and after the tour of the building I knew that there was no turning back. Mother was so excited to be here. The entire staff made us feel welcome and always asked if we needed anything or could they help me when I seemed to be looking lost. (lol) The presentation of the meals always looked inviting and sometimes my sister would join mother for lunch; I was always on a diet. This community will always be one that I will recommend to family members and friends when they are looking for a facility for their love one. I would rate this community - GREAT!

We have visit a dozen memory care facilities and decided to send my dad to Grand Brook Memory care of Mckinney for respite stay while we were out of country. This is first time for my dad to stay outside of home, his Dr. pre-caution us that it could be very challenge and frustrate to him. But it turned out a real good experience, they took good care of my dad, work above and beyond than our expectation. Grand Brook Memory Care is run by compassionate and caring professionals. From both management team like director [name removed] to staffs like [name removed] etc, they are the heart-felt acts of people who truly care and willing to help the families. We are so happy to send my dad to Grand Brook Memory care of McKinney, now we use them for day and respite stay as needed that give us a peace of mind.

My Mother lived with me for many years. When I was no longer able to give her the care she needed, the Executive Director and Director of Healthcare actually came to my house to evaluate Mom. They built a rapport with her and helped make her transition seamless. The care at Grand Brook is beyond my expectations. The food is fabulous and we are always welcome to come and eat with Mom or bring in Mom’s favorite meal. The facility is clean and has a nice layout. The staff is very friendly. They encourage residents to participate and never force anything upon them. Mom has so much more stimulation with the daily activities and exercise classes tailored just for her than I could have provided for her at home. She has actually made new friends. The Nursing care is excellent. They are always available for any concerns or questions I might have. Grand Brook welcomes family's to continue to be involved with our loved ones. I highly recommend Grand Brook in Grapevine for anyone who is looking for a nurturing environment that truly cares for the residents and their families.

My mom has lived at AL for 2 years now and we feel so relieved to know she is in a safe environment. She was [removed] in a previous memory care facility that was TOP rated, well known and very beautiful. AL of Carrollton is quite a bit further from our house, but it's so worth the drive every day to know she is safe, well cared for, and in a lovely home setting with a gentle, loving staff, wonderful activities, terrific food and a welcoming environment. We love the caregivers, administration, activity directors, chefs, the front office heroes, and the maintenance man and the housekeeper (who have both been known to grab a spoon and feed residents who are struggling to feed themselves). AL of C is truly a family taking care of family. I can't thank them or recommend them highly enough!

I am absolutely thrilled with the care my mom gets at Grand Brook. It was scary to move her from the skilled nursing home where she was living when they were unable to deal with her memory issues. [Names removed] at Grand Brook made me feel confident I was making the right choice. I can't believe how easily Mom made the adjustment, and I know it's because of the cheerful, helpful staff. Grand Brook really cares about its residents and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for the best care for their loved one.

Visited with [name removed] 3 March 2018. She was very personable, knowledgeable and caring. The facility looks great and the rooms are decent size. I like the relaxed atmosphere and amenities. The all inclusive price is also nice, no surprises.

I am so thankful I found Autumn Leaves. They treat my husband wonderfully, and I finally have my life back after moving here. I never want to pass up an opportunity to express my feelings regarding these communities, and I am so grateful for autumn leaves. I would absolutely recommend it.

Grand Brook has been a really great experience for us so far. The community is small, and I feel the care is much more specific to my loved one's needs. The small size of the community allows the staff to tend to my loved one's needs more, and she seems very happy there. The food is really good, and the cook seems very aware and very caring about each individual's needs. There are a lot of activities here, and they do a lot to involve the families, which I like. One thing I did notice upon first visiting the community is that it's very clean, and it feels like someone's home. It's well kept and comfortable, and I would recommend it.

This review is based on first impressions of touring. This community is very nice and laid out like a very large older home with one main activity room and multiple activity nooks and eating areas. I really liked this community and the executive director and staff members I met. However, it was at the upper end of our budget and not conveniently located for our family. I would highly recommend this community to other families to consider.

In the time that my loved one was here I found that the staff team is very very attentive and always on top of everything. The people that worked there are very knowledge, competent, very helpful, they are eager to please, and they fulfill any request we may have or provide information we may need. They also provide activities tailored to those in the memory care unit. I would recommend this facility to other families looking into options.

This is a great community for the care for my mom.The staff are attentive and caring to her needs. The menu is good and she is happy with the variety of the meals. They have a lot of great activities for her to participate with the other residents. We would The community is clean with a nice environment for her to enjoy.

They have surpassed all of our expectations! Because I am in another state, they personally escorted my mom to their community, paying for all of their own travel expenses. Most important to me was their willingness to take on her behavior that could often be quite challenging. They are keeping in contact with me and graciously send me photos with my mom and her friends. Each of the staff is wonderful with her. They have activities almost everyday which have helped tremendously in calming her down and helping her feel at home. They are helping with everything, even with surgery that was unavailable in my state. I would recommend them to anyone seeking superior memory care for a loved one.

My loved one is doing really well at this facility! The staff are very accommodating and the facility is very well maintained. Overall, my loved one is adjusting very well to his new home; I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience!

The care at this community is wonderful. I like that my mom is happy here. I like that staff who keep me informed on her progress. The meals are appealing and she seems to be please with the variety. The community is clean and I like knowing that she is participating in the activities. The environment is very good for my mom and I would highly recommend the care and the value to other families for care for a loved one.

Words cannot express my gratitude to the wonderful staff at Autumn Leaves Carrollton. I had been struggling to take good care of my mother. From the moment she arrived, it was evident that she would receive excellent and loving care. They treated her like one of the family. When she transitioned to hospice, the staff continued to come to visit her and to help the family through the difficult times.

My mother has Alzheimer's and was living in another assisted living community, which was a pleasant and adequate place, as long as I had my private caregivers working with her each day to bathe her, get her to meals, etc. After my mom had a mild stroke, however, it became apparent that she needed a place with more physical care during the time the private caregivers were not there. To be honest, I was a little shell shocked by the price at MCNB, but it has turned out to be worth every cent. MCNB is well-staffed, the care is excellent, and (what a pleasant surprise!) the quality of the food is a great improvement over her previous community. The brand new facility is lovely and has an air of spaciousness, with plenty of access to small, intimate, outside sitting areas. Her single room is spacious enough to accommodate the items that were most important for my mom's comfort. With the in-house medical care, my mom doesn't need to go "out" for services anymore, which is so much better now that she is more mobility impaired. I am also very relieved that she can age in place here, and my husband and I will not have to move her (and her stuff) again. I still use my private caregivers, because of the special relationship that my mom has with them. However, it has been a relief to all of us that the staff at MCNB can (and does) handle anything and everything if my private folks are unable to be there. We no longer have to scramble to find a substitute for the private caregivers. The private caregivers have been impressed, as well, that the staff at MCNB do not wait for them to arrive; they have her up, dressed and at breakfast, just like they would any other client who doesn't have private caregivers. Needless to say, the staff at the "front" of the house are friendly, attentive, and very helpful with providing the information you need concerning the community, along with helping to smooth the transition to MCNB. If they weren't, you probably wouldn't choose this community. Of course, the essence of the community is what the caregivers do, and I have been very impressed with them. They do treat their clients like individuals.

We really like this community, and everything is working out very well for my mother in law since her move here. This community specializes in memory care. So we know she is being cared for by a staff that really understand how to care for someone with Alzheimer's. They do a great with the cleanliness of the community. There is never a bad odor lingering around the community, everything is well maintained. The staff here is very loving, and caring towards the residents. We really love this community, and I would highly recommend it.

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting here. The staff is very friendly and professional at all times. The food is appealing. The staff offers a lot of activities that she is enjoying. This is a great community with great care and a good value for loved ones.

We toured this community and my aunt did not qualify for the care here. The staff were very nice and were able to answer the questions on the care that is offered. We did see a menu of the nice meals that are available here and they are health meals. A lot of nice activities are available for those who want to participate. A clean community to enjoy. We recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.
