Constant Care Management

This community has stood the test of time. My mom became a resident here in November 2012. I have been consistently impressed by the level of care that mom receives here. Management of her long term care eligibility, activities, caregivers, meals, cleanliness and operation of the residence are all top notch of all the places we toured in the Allen/McKinney areas this was most like a residence I have never regretted that my mom became a part of this loving community.

My husband has been here at Stoneybrook over 2 years. I have always felt he is getting the best care possible. The peace of mind for me has been very important. I come to spend some time with him almost every day. I am amazed at the professionalism I witness. I thank God for finding this place.

Exceeded expectations I didn't even know I had because they are so much better than a previous facility which at the time I thought was excellent!

My dad had been there over a year, and Stoneybrook has consistently shown: 1. Onsite nurse with medical expertise and great communication with family at all times. 2.Entire staff with experience (most have been there years, not months!), understanding, respect, patience, and love for their residents with special dementia/Alzheimer's personalities and needs. 3. Excellent nutrition prepared by on site chef and dietary team who know each resident and their nutritional needs. 4.Activities director with variety, creativity, and concern for each resident. I go to bed each night knowing my dad has had a day of excellent care, variety, dignity, and even fun, and confident someone kind is caring for him through the night. I can wake up each day confident he has been met with a Good Morning smile, encouragement, respect, and attentive care. I know these things because my family and I "pop in" very often, at varied times day and evening, because we want to spend time and ENJOY being with my dad, and Stoneybrook is the place where we can do that.

They do a wonderful job at Autumn Leaves of Carrolton! The staff here is very compassionate, and very well educated about my mother's illness and how best to care for her. They were a huge help throughout the whole process, and it was just a very very pleasant experience the whole way through!

When I visited, the staff was very friendly and the value was very reasonable. I really liked how they have adult day care services by the day which is what I am looking for at the moment. They do have activities, but I did not participate so I really cannot say anything about that. Overall, i really like this community.

Our experience with Stoneybrook Memory Care has been very positive. It is a tough time for my father but they have been very helpful, and have given us continual input on how he is doing, his overall state of mind, etc. I do think they could have a little bit more activities on the weekend, as the activities director works only weekdays.

I have visited Autumn Leaves of Carrollton and the staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The clients at this facility seem very happy and well taken care of. Im in the early phases of looking for my mother and this will definitely be an excellent option. They offered us a "try before you buy" option as well as a 24hr on call availability of administration which was a pleasant surprise.

Storybook Memory Care of Garland : My dad has only been there for about six weeks now, and we are very, very, very thankful to have found them. They do an amazing job working with my dad. Not only is he well cared for, but he feels good about himself too. From the executive staff to the caregivers, there has never been a time when I was there that they were not interacting with him. He's content and well cared for there. The staff is always very welcoming when I go. I looked several places before choosing this one, and knew beyond a doubt, this was the right place. I have no complaints.

Very caring, knowledgeable staff. So impressed that I feel 100% at ease knowing Dad is well taken care of now.

Autumn leaves has been doing an excellent job looking after my loved one! We really liked the look of the place when we toured it, and she really seems to have settled in well. It's a nice looking place, the staff are all very friendly, and the care they provide to their residents is good.

I loved Autumn Leaves. There were so many windows and lots of light. The courtyards were pretty. Both times I visited, almost all of the residents were participating in the scheduled activity. I appreciated the fact that dining was divided into three sections based on the level of care needed. Since my dad needs help in the shower, I liked the fact that the shower is not located in the room. The rooms were also a really good size and the furniture, towels and linens can be provided (which is not typical). Most of all, the staff really seemed engaged with the residents. When it comes to price, they were generally about the same as others. The BIG difference was the price was all inclusive.

My mom has been at Stoneybrook in Grapevine for a week and everything is going well. I find the activities for her are good and the staff is really great and very friendly. The building is clean and doesn't smell.My mom seems to be getting stronger and appears happy there. I couldn't ask for more.

We were very well pleased with Stoneybrook. Unfortunately my mother passed away the next morning after we got her moved. We were really impressed with the staff and the facilities.

I cannot say enough good things about this caring home for my wife. She was in 3 other homes from bad to the country clubs. This has been almost my second home since Jan. 2009 for that is when I was fortunate enough to discover Autumn Leaves, now known as Stoneybrook Memory Care Of Mc Kinney, but with the same owners. They know who I am and they have my permission to call on me whenever I can help others make the right choice and choose the best caring home as I did.

THIS HOME TRULY IS A HOME THAT CARES FOR YOUR LOVED ONES. THE ENTIRE STAFF ENTERS INTO ALL EVENTS HELPING TO EXTEND THE RESIDENTS LIFE AND ENJOYMENT OF THEIR REMAINING YEARS. I HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT AND CONFIDENCE THAT GINNY WILL BE PROPERLY CARED FOR AND THEIR EFFORTS ARE TO ASSIST HER IN HAVING AS PLEASANT A LIFE AS CAN BE EXPECTED. THEY EXERCISE, SING, PRESENT DAILY FACTS, AND STIMULATE EACH RESIDENT'S MIND AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. THEY CARE AND THATS WONDERFUL.

I absolutely loved them. They called me back earlier this week and they've offered a kind of counter offer to what I'm paying at another place and I'm talking to my brother about moving our mom. I hate to do that because she's getting settled but I might because they have tons of activities all day long. They really keep them engaged. I think that social interaction is really important.

This was the fourth or fifth place we visited and one of our big concerns was finding a place that allowed pets. There are not a lot of places that would allow my father-in-law to move in with his dog, but Autumn Leaves allowed his dog to move in with him. When we met the staff they were warm, friendly, kind, encouraging, and sympathetic. They felt like family and welcomed my father and his dog . Everything couldn't have been any nicer, the warmth of Autumn Leaves and their acceptance of pets were why we chose them.

Amazing! Director is so good! Very impressed with facility. Very, very clean. Wide hallways. Decor was appealing. Like the separate dining areas. Staff showed care and concern to residents. Beautiful sitting areas, outdoor areas. Only concern is that mother is not as far "gone" as most of the residents. It may be more depressing for her being with more advanced dementia residents. She is high functioning I think but...I really like this place. The rooms will be very small for what she is used to. I know she will not like that at all. She will also not like the shower/bath area. But the residents seemed well cared for and the environment was inviting.

Beautiful, clean, active. Rooms very nice. Fee waived in Nov.
