It was a very good place and we were very happy with it.

My dad was only there a short time but the place was clean and staff friendly,

We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this looked like a very nice place, overall! The staff we met all seemed friendly, and the facility itself was attractive and well kept. It wasn't the best fit for us carewise, but it is definitely somewhere we were considering!

I would recommend.

The staff is very friendly and management was very supportive getting father acclimated. Food is good although seems to run out but do offer fiver different dishes to choose. Father is blind but staff encouraged and assisted with activities he could participate with.

Garden place has been great! My dad is 98 but can pretty much take care of himself except for a few minor things. He needs help remembering to take his medicine and food preperation. He has been to another community and they didn't do half of what the Garden Place does. Dad is not just a number but an individual that is shown respect. Every staff member is wonderful and caring and they all know my dad. If dad ever needs anything they will go out if their way to help. Garden place is more than where dad use to be for independent living but the Garden Place does so much more that other communities consider assisted living. The food is good and we can join dad for a meal at a very reasonable price. The only thing my dad complains about is they do not have much activities in the evenings. The Garden Place encourages residents to make suggestions on how to make things better so dad will be making that suggestion once he remembers to. I'm so glad we found the garden Place through a place for mom. We can relax and know dad is being well cared for. They have a residents wear an emergency button that is nit only an emergency button but a GPS tracker

I am not in state so I don't have a lot of experience with it. They seem to be doing a very good job, from what my loved one tells me. There really haven't been any complaints, and everything has gone as expected. Which is what we would hope. We are pretty pleased so far.

I liked this Emeritus and the one in Broken Arrow. The staff was really great in both places. It was nice and clean. The reason I chose the other Emeritus, was that their resident to caregiver ratio was a little better.

I think they are doing a great job. The staff is really great. They keep it clean and they have a good set of activities, more than I expected for the memory care. The reason I picked them was because their ratio of caregivers to residents seemed better than other places.

It's been great. They keep it clean, and have lots of activities. We haven't had any concerns or complaints about the food. There haven't been any concerns about anything really, nothing that needs to be improved that I can think of. It's much better than the place where she was before. The value, and feeling like you get your money's worth is really good too.

It's very clean. The food isn't too bad. Communication with family could be improved, knowing what's going on from the communities perspective. There doesn't seem to be a lot of follow up, if I have a question. I liked that they weren't right on a really busy road with a lot of traffic noise. We really liked the design of the building, very open spaces, and a lot of windows.

The activities could use a few more options. They need to pay more attention to their diabetic residents, and the food isn't that good I would say about a three out of five. Their menus need to have more diabetic options. Kim used to be the manager and isn't anymore and that isn't good, they were kind of my deciding factor. All in all for the money I think it's a good product.

It was one of the more expensive communities, but they offer a lot. The residents who live there seemed settled and happy. They were very attentive and seemed to know their jobs well, and I learned a lot from them. The activities weren't as active as we would have liked, and also seemed more geared towards the ladies. What I saw was very good, their efforts to make it homey and pleasant, were excellent. There was a feeling of comfort and it was beautiful. The food wasn't great, it was bland, and not very salted, sometimes it looked good and sometimes it didn't look so good. I did like that there was choice of at least two things so you could pick.

My mother-in-law is at Garden Place and has been there for about nine months. The food looks appetizing and my mother-in-law likes it. There are field trips to shopping centers and restaurants. Bingo all the time. The employees are very friendly and definitely know everyone by name. The place is not large and is situated in a square, so even with memory loss, you can usually find your apartment. Help is always available for the residents.

My loved one seems happy here. They do a good job taking care of everyone and making sure that they are safe, comfortable, and entertained. The facility itself looks like, and they keep it very clean.

I think they are having a hard time keeping staff. They have lost both of their cooks, and I think they recently hired some people but it's been pretty much frozen and institutional food. The food was pretty good, then it was bad, but I am looking for it to improve. There is a disconnect between the administrative staff and the caregiving staff and also a disconnect between the corporate office and the administative office. There seems to be grumblings going on, people aren't happy with their supervisors. The individual staff members are all quite pleasant, but they seem to have a hard time keeping staff. Company politics it seems is the issue. The corporate people have sent out a questionaire, I liked that, they seem to be working on improving things.

I am half moved into Vineyard heights. I am in one of the cottages. It is very nice. I highly recommend the cottages for someone still getting around without help. It is a very quiet neighborhood. I know I am going to be very happy here.

Apparently they had a changeover of most, if not all of their care people right at the point when I didn't know what was going on. About the time I was thinking something was seriously wrong here I noticied when I walked in the laundry was all done, his apartment didn't smell, his room was clean, it was much better. I don't know if it was just our person or if it was a total overhaul. A couple of months ago they said he wasn't cooperating and wasn't progressing with his physical therapy and suggested hospice to make him comfortable and that lit a fire under him. He's transferring himself, he's going down to the dining room and eating his meals, he's doing much better. It's a nice solid place, I ate there for his birthday and it was good, there wasn't enough food but I'm not an old person and the food is much better.

Nice visit

Sounds interesting. My mother in law lives in Columbia so we make frequent trips there so it may work out depending on level of care for dad with his memory issues.
