Don't be naive about the process. Make sure you have all your research and find out about the facilities beforehand. Have everything in writing and make sure you know who to contact if you need anything. the sizes of the rooms are adequate, and the food was very minimal and disappointing. The community worked with me to keep my parents together. I would recommend this facility as much as any other facility.

Good facility with some areas of improvement needed. Has a lot of staff turnover which confuses some residents with dementia. Food is generally okay but frequently runs out of sandwich meat and soup at mealtime. Some caregivers don't seem to be motivated; although there are a few exceptional ones. Caregivers (some) seems to lack adequate training in dealing with dementia among the elderly. Just tonight I was there for dinner they had no deli meats or hamburgers. They need to do a better job at managing the food orders.

The caregivers are very nice, and caring. They do not have much experience, and can make the process slow. Management needs work.

This property is aging, but lovely. Huge established trees and landscaping, and a very nice facility.

Cannot justify the $225 per month increase. The staff is great but no matter how dedicated they are, corporate gives the facility a big black eye with their greed. Corporate = 1 star Staff = 5 stars

My love one previously resided in this location and she was not happy. In fairness with the property, I liked the staff. They are very kind, attentive, but it doesn’t dissipate the issues that we unfortunately experienced. During the time that she was there she was not assessed properly. It affected the medication that was administered to her which resulted her to being immobile and was undergoing other symptoms. My love one is a pretty physically strong person and within 24hrs of being off that medication she was back to her normal self. We spoke with the staff and it turns out that person that assessed her was fired. I personally think that probably the administrative team could use some work.

I toured this community. I was not comfortable with the settings and the environment of this community. The staff were nice and caring and were able to answer my questions, Rooms have to be shared at this community. I would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

My husband is there as he needs 24 hour care. It is a memory care and he is not like most of them there. I would move him if there was an alternative. He does not belong there. They are very nice and do care for him. I have no complaints there but I do not call it an assistant living as the residence are to far out of it. He has not found one who can carry on a conversation with him.

I was not happy with this community. We were going to have my mom move in for her care needs. We paid the amount to get my mom set in for a move in time and she backed out. We were not able to get a refund and they could not understand why we did not move in. The staff seemed to be nice and friendly. the community was clean. My mom is not here and doing great at home for now. I do think other families would be happy with the care that is received here from the staff and the cleanliness

I like living at this community. The staff is very nice and caring. They could use a little help with the food. This is a clean community and always taken care of. I would recommend this good care for others to live here.

We were there on a saturday and there was no one at this community to assist us with our tour. The community did not smell good. This community was a little more expensive than the community we chose.

I have noticed that they seem to be low staffed in the dementia area and you go in and the residents are just sitting around like nothing is going on. They have a schedule of events, but there is not much interaction going on.

Their billing is goofed up at Sylvan House. The communication between the billing and the facility needs improving. They do have live entertainment at the facility which mom really enjoys.

The food was very lousy at Peachtree Village Retirement most of the time. Most everything else was ok, but they need a chef really bad. The facility is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful, but the food leaves much to be desired.

Nice place for assisted living, not for independent living.

It's lovely looking. The dining is nice and light. The day to day staff are friendly and caring and nice. They have a very rigid meal schedule. They are very light on the assisted part, it was almost independent living. That was kind of a disappointment. We had one incident with some confusion and they asked our loved one to move out. They were not very flexible and accommodating, they didn't even try to come up with a solution or see if it was an isolated incident.

The staff is extremely friendly and try to be helpful. Residents seem to be happy. I like that they have activities for them, but many don't take part. The facility is clean but at time smells bad. Communication between staff and all caregivers needs to be improved. More caregivers are needed for the number of residents they have. Overall it is a nice community but very expensive.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff were very kind but the facility itself just did not present very well, it needed a lot of renovations

I looked at this community for my loved one, but I did not care for it. It looked very nice on the outside, but it was very old and outdated on the inside. I just did not feel it was a place I wanted my loved one to be.
