I would recommend this community for your loved one. We are not there any longer due to some changes in respite care but this is still a great community for your loved one. The only things we used the community for was respite care. They did not meet our needs for long term care.

[name removeed] is a gem and amazing to work with. Everyone is super kind. I think they do their best in getting to the call buttons of the residents. I would recommend the community to others. There were a couple times they forgot to deliver breakfast; however, it was quickly resolved. The room sizes are good compared to others in the community. The staff go above and beyond. Priscilla at the front desk is excellent at what she does.

Our loved one is only three months in and so far our families experience has been pretty good. We do think the value is just about what we expected and we would recommend this community to others.

There is an activity room available for the residents to use; however, not much of variety of activities. I would recommend the community. Also, ask lots of questions in person with the staff. Sometimes it is hard to understand them over the phone on subjects. Some of the medication I gave to the community, they lost. They weren't treating a medical condition in my loved one due to the doctor not signing off on the paperwork needed by the community.

The communication between the staff and the family needs to improve especially when it comes to medication. You need to be persistent about the care of your loved one. I have had to ask several times for normal grooming practices to be done. I would recommend this community to others

The community was understaffed due to covid but did the best they could. Don't hesitate to call and talk to your loved ones and the head to see how things are going. I would recommend this community to others the staff is very helpful and it's a good community.

The community has really great people. We spoke to hospice and they said this was a good community. The community is a smaller community, and has up to 80 residents. I believe this number includes the assisted living and memory care areas. Silver Creek had one staff member who only had come down with COVID. Now this is the only community in our area who is COVID free. The staff are working very hard to ensure to keep COVID away. The administration team is doing a great job on checking on the residents and staff. This allows the direct support staff to assist the residents further. There was a nice lady that works in the office, that took the initiative to wrap boxes up for my loved one to make sure there packages under the tree. for Christmas. This staff member checks on my loved one daily and then dials the phone to allow the family to speak to our loved one. The management/administration is wonderful. It has been hard to keep the direct support staff to the residents. The food is wonderful. There were activities prior to the pandemic. Silver Creek tries to celebrate all different holidays, Elvis came to perform around Christmas each year, and they had outside vendors come in to entertain the residents. There are puzzles, games, and bingo available as well.

The community works well with you, they have ok room sizes, I would recommend this community to others.

My loved one really enjoyed it when they first got to the community. I feel isolation has taken a toll on my loved one. I don't feel the community has done anything wrong . Overall, the community has done a great job with the residents during the pandemic.

Food is great, care is consistent. Covid isolation means Mom is very lonely. Mom's cell phone disappeared on her second day at the facility. Staff is good at facilitating Mom's well being. This level of care is very expensive.

Desert Peaks is a small enough community where you won't become just another resident and get lost in the shuffle. The staff is helpful, friendly and caring. My husband's parents live there and they appreciate the attention and concern given for their health and well being. A variety of activities are provided both within and outside of the facility, and residents are encouraged to participate. My husband's parents like it there.

The residents are very friendly. The management are very caring toward the residents because if you need help on anything such as medical they bend over backwards to help you.

I love the residents. The rent is reasonable. The food is only about 75% edible. The staff cares about the residents and are always willing to talk to them.

Looks good have to take Mom to check it out. Hope to soon.

I walked into the building 8 1/2 years ago and I felt at home here and I still do. There are a lot of things to do – games, exercises, trips and etc.

I love living at this independent community! The management is very businesslike but are in good touch with the residents. The meals are good and we have a lot of activities that we all enjoyed. Thank you.

My mom lived here back in about 2012 and she liked it. I've visited her and thought it was nice. So when my husband died and my children thought this would be great for me. I have been here since January of this year and I like it.

I was worried we were going to get Ben Stiller's orderly from Happy Gilmore but in the last year, everyone has been pleasant and attentive. I'd recommend it.

My husband and I have lived here for 2 1/2 years. The management and care giving staff are excellent. Only problems have come from shortage of staff (due to living in a tourist town) I expect to live out my life here.
