Desert Peaks is a small enough community where you won't become just another resident and get lost in the shuffle. The staff is helpful, friendly and caring. My husband's parents live there and they appreciate the attention and concern given for their health and well being. A variety of activities are provided both within and outside of the facility, and residents are encouraged to participate. My husband's parents like it there.

The residents are very friendly. The management are very caring toward the residents because if you need help on anything such as medical they bend over backwards to help you.

I love the residents. The rent is reasonable. The food is only about 75% edible. The staff cares about the residents and are always willing to talk to them.

Looks good have to take Mom to check it out. Hope to soon.

I walked into the building 8 1/2 years ago and I felt at home here and I still do. There are a lot of things to do – games, exercises, trips and etc.

I love living at this independent community! The management is very businesslike but are in good touch with the residents. The meals are good and we have a lot of activities that we all enjoyed. Thank you.

My mom lived here back in about 2012 and she liked it. I've visited her and thought it was nice. So when my husband died and my children thought this would be great for me. I have been here since January of this year and I like it.

I was worried we were going to get Ben Stiller's orderly from Happy Gilmore but in the last year, everyone has been pleasant and attentive. I'd recommend it.

My husband and I have lived here for 2 1/2 years. The management and care giving staff are excellent. Only problems have come from shortage of staff (due to living in a tourist town) I expect to live out my life here.

Very grand as you come up the drive. Not much parking, not many of the residents drive. It is older but they are giving it a face lift. This was my 85 year old Mom's pick, she felt most comfortable there tho I felt it had a more nursing home feel to it. [name removed] was great and knew all the residents by name, many of the staff have been there for years and the grounds are very pretty.

My loved one has only been at Reflections for a short time, but so far, our experience with Refection's of Garden Place has been very good. The staff is very nice, and they seem to be trying very hard to work with my loved one and get to know her needs. I like that the community is very clean, and I'm hoping that once my loved one warms up to things more, she will participate in the activities there. I would recommend this community to others.

I went on o tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. The place was clean it was a nice place. I really liked it but it was to big and there were to many people here. They served a lot of mexican food here and mom hates that type of food.It just wasn't a good fit.

This facility has been more than I expected and continue to go above and beyond expectations. I like that the staff take my Grandma out and go for walks around the facility and she isn’t just confined to the memory care unit. They actually talk to her and keep her thinking and active. The staff treats her very well and they are always on hand when we need them. They also have a lot of activities like decorating the halls for the seasons, arts/crafts, and taking them on field trips to art galleries. I would highly recommend this community to other families.

Lone Oak is a very nice place, I would rate it at about a 4 for most situations. For us, it did not work, and I had to move [Removed] after about 1 month. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, but it is a living situation meant for someone who can be more independent than my sister; the staff are available to help with physical limitations of residents, but it is a small staff for the size of facility. They also missed one medication dose during her stay there (and my sister needs 3 administrations of medication per day to prevent epileptic seizures – she was given that dose, but late). The front desk is not always staffed, so my sister was able to walk out one day and she got lost while trying to access the stores a block away (because of her brain injury). After 2 more attempts to leave, the head nurse informed me that my sister needed a sitter to guarantee her safety and that I needed to move her into a memory care residence. So I loved Lone Oak, but it did not work out for our situation.

I have no complaints about how things had went for my tour at this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I thought the overall experience was pleasant it was just not the right location for our family in the end decision.

It is going pretty well now for mom at the Brookdale Cedar Ridge. It was a bumpy start with the call button not working properly, and not leaving mom's remote for the T.V. within her reach, and leaving the thermostat alone so that she did not get cold. They are taking the matters seriously and working with us. Most of the staff members are very welcoming and really friendly when we come to visit. The food is really good with a lot of choices, and they serve ample amounts. The residents seem very happy. The activity director comes and gets my mom and encourages her to participate, she likes the activities she has engaged in for the most part. Mom seems happier now. She is doing better.

This place is pretty welcoming. While it is old, it is well maintained and updated. The staff have been there a long time, as have most of the residents here. Very lively place, and the residents seem happy. The staff know people by name,as they should. The biggest problem here is the waiting list is long.

They had a nice dinning room area for the residents and even offered us to try a meal they had on the menu during our visit. It was a pleasant experience with lots of great amenities for everyone just was not the right fit for my mother.
