My parents have resided at Garden place for six weeks. Thus far, everything works very well. They are being fed well, there is always help with laundry or trips to the doctor and the staff generally makes sure they are well and safe.

With our situation they were excellent. The cleanliness was good, in the beginning we had some issues but that was just my mom. The activities she didn't particiapte in because by the time she got there she was pretty bad. She passed away while she was there but at the very end I just cannot say enough good things about the staff. My brother and I visited a couple of other places but this was closer to our house so we didn't have to tracel all over town, it was also more homey, it wasn't like a sterile environment.

this is a really great community. My mother really does like it there. They are very care and helpful folks.

This facility in Red Bluff is well respected among the medical community; others in the medical industry choose the Emeritus at Lassen House for their family members. We chose this place for my mom because of it's close to my sister, but also because it is very friendly and has a community feel. It is smaller than where my mom previously stayed and has less activities but the staff reaches out to residents much more. The dining room also has the same staff that seem to have some medical training and the food is healthy and appropriately portioned. My sister can visit everyday and the residents there look happy. They have a real living room at Lassen House, not a dreay lobby. We wanted my mom to have several caregivers, not the same one and are very happy with the size of the community and stafff at Lassen House. The cost for Emeritus seems standardized, we toured other Emeritus properties and found cost comparable which was surprising. The Lassen House is really cute, residents can have their own private gardens; on clear days there are great views of Mt. Lassen.

Bingo...... This was absolutely the best that I visited so far. They even had a bus line out front. The Community Relations and Marketing Director was such fun. She also invited me to lunch in the fantastic dining room that was simply delicious. I thought I was in a restrauant with carts of salads, iced drinks, and desserts coming by. Love the apartments, activities and especially the positive energy from everyone. Great Day.

We went with the Landing because they were only of the only places that had availability in their memory care unit. They are a newer facility and they were also less expensive than some in the area. The staff were great and did a good job with communication. My mom was in memory care and they control that side very well .There is no ability for the residents to leave voluntarily and there is very good access for family members to come and visit. They also control medications well and it is very secure. The facility was always clean and well maintained. The staff always seemed readily available and were super friendly and welcoming.

The only reason we left off that .5 overall rating is because no place is perfect, but all the way around this is the place to go if you want almost perfect. We like the folks there, all the staff we have dealt with work with our family anytime we have questions or concerns. Our loved one is enjoying the meals and activities.

There are some staff members that go above and beyond for the residents. The community seems to be willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. There has been some challenges in keeping staff during the pandemic.

The community has a residential feel and layout. The staff are very compassionate about the care they provide the residents. Some of the activities include flower arranging, trivia day, bingo nights, horse races, and more for the residents to participate in

HeatherWood community is extremely welcoming and clean and attractive when you walk in. The staff members are extremely friendly and very inviting. They do offer a lot of activities for the residents who choose to participate.

The family reports to me that my friend is very happy here and is doing well at Callahan Village and Cottages.

The staff is very warm and friendly, the food is delicious and the enclosed Courtyard is Wonderful! They even have Lemon Trees!?? A great environment and you can't beat the price!

I am very happy here overall with the entire residence and activities as well as the location.

Heatherwood is a wonderful home. My mom has been very happy there. The atmosphere is homey and the staff are outstanding, and so caring. In my opinion, they have the best place around!!! ??

The value of a place like this is shown in the happy faces of the residents. If the residents are happy then The Suites have put together qualified people. I went in with a positive attitude and this is “home”. It is wonderful to have people greet you each and every day with a smile and asked if there was anything they could do for you - not wait to be asked.

I was overwhelmed by the love and understand of the staff. It has to be very difficult to care for people with memory issues. They refuse showers, yell at the staff but they are highly trained in memory care and realize it is the disease and not the person. They have to be prepared for anything and everything. I saw a very ungrateful family yelling at the staff and they didn't even know what was really the issue. It is also their jobs to take care of a stressful family and put them at ease. This is not a job for just anyone. I saw that first hand. They truly care and have the passion for what they do. This was the main reason I picked this facility over the rest. Observe at the interaction of staff and patients.

WE PUT OUR MOM AT THE VILLA 3 MO AGO & DREADED TAKING HER OUT OF HER HOME. THE STUDIO APT WAS BIG ENOUGH FOR HER TO HAVE SO MUCH OF HER OWN THINGS SHE WAS IMMEDIATELY PLEASED. SHE HASN'T HAD 1 COMPLAINT IN HER ENTIRE TIME THERE. I ONLY LIVE 2 MILES AWAY & I DROP IN AT ALL HOURS. THE STAFF ARE VERY ATTENTIVE & MAKE SURE SHE ATTENDS SOME ACTIVITIES. WE COULDN'T GET HER TO DO THAT SO AN EXTRA THANKS FOR THAT. i'D LIKE TO ESPECIALLY THANK [Name removed], HER NURSE, WHO CARED SO MUCH WHEN MOM WAS SICK FOR SEVERAL DAYS. BEFORE WE PUT HER HERE WE CHECKED OTHERS PLACES. WHILE VISITING HERE WE ASKED MANY RESIDENTS &/OR THEIR RELATIVES THEIR OPINION OF WILDWOOD. ALL HAD POSITIVE ANSWERS. WE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. WHAT A RELIEF ABOUT THAT MAJOR DECISION FOR OUR 93 YEAR OLD MOM.

I viewed this community and had a meal and tour approximately 1 year prior to actually moving in. I do not regret my choice. The staff go out of their way (my opinion) to help you move in and get organized and acquainted with other staff members and residents. There is a monthly welcome for new residents and the activity schedule provides something for everyone-never a dull moment.
