If a friend ask me i would say they listen to you and there is always something happening there. I picked radford because it was clean, and i felt when talking with them they listen to me and family. I would recommend to others.

Our experience with Commonwealth Senior Living at Georgian Manor has been top notch. When we arrived for our initial meeting with [name removed], the Marketing/Sales Director, we were immediately impressed with the look and the feel of the place. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My mom really enjoyed meeting everyone on the staff too. All of our questions were answered to our satisfaction and we were able to move my mom in quickly, which was a real relief. My mom enjoys the food! I would definitely recommend Commonwealth Senior Living at Georgian Manor to others.

I'm thankful the Commonwealth Senior Living at Grand Rapids community provides family events and encourages visitors. Our parents love the food there and there are many outings planned weekly for residents!

The community has undergone so many changes since I’ve visited in the past. It is place were I could see my mom thriving each day. The staff are friendly and attentive to the residence. It makes me so happy to see all the activities and the smiling faces.

We give each category a 5 all the way. The value for cost with this community is about the same as all the comparable places in the area. Commonwealth Senior Living did not have any availability for our loved one so they were not able to move in, however it was a nice tour experience.

They've been wonderful (despite my mother's inability to come to terms that she is where she needs to be. When it comes to the cleanliness I have no complaints. The staff members are angels. I probably should knock off one half point, but that would be unfair because they are understaffed. And that is more a symptom of the current economy and not the faults of CSL. The meals and dining receive a 3 because the feeling that I get from my mother is that the food is not the greatest.. Really not sure on the activities because my mother won't take advantage of the activities they do have. And that's on her, not CSL. The value for cost is not a 5 because it's quite expensive. I don't have any data for comparison, so I'm not sure about this rating.

The staff members at Commonwealth Senior Living at Churchland House community were always helpful and available, and friendly. The room was a nice size with a walk in closet and a good size bathroom.

We picked this community, because it felt very welcoming and helpful when I spoke with them on the phone and called me back quickly. It was amazing. I would have a friend, call them, get a tour, and let them know that my loved one is so grateful to be there.

The staff was all very caring and friendly and got to know my father personally. The director of nursing called me on a few occasions when necessary. The facility is older but is clean and well maintained. I felt like my father mattered.

The staff at Commonwealth was excellent - professional and caring. It was a difficult transition for my mom to move there, and I was impressed at how the staff helped her with this. They allowed her to retain as much independence as she could manage, and they were always nearby to help her when she needed it. This was important to her and I appreciated that they knew her well enough to understand and respect her wishes. Every time we visited we would talk with their friendly aides and it was clear that they not only knew mom well, they also cared about her well-being. As time went on and she needed more help with everyday living, they adjusted as well. They got her moved to a room closer to the nurses' station when she was really ill so they could keep a closer eye on her. Our family is grateful for the kind and caring staff at Commonwealth and that they were able to make a very difficult period of mom's life better.

I would probably not have found Commonwealth without A Place for Mom. The agent I worked with was great. Thank you.The staff was wonderful. The residents were treated with respect. We picked this community, because of the cleanliness and value.

What our family likes the most about the Commonwealth Senior Living community in Norfolk, VA is the staff, they are so friendly and they prepare really good quality meals along with good meal options.

It was the nicest and most reasonable place that had a vacancy right away. We were in a time crunch and we wanted to make sure[name removed] was in a good place. Go for it if you can. You won't be sorry. After talking to [name removed] we were sure we were making the right decision.

At this time, we would rate every category a 5. My mother has been very pleased at Commonwealth in Salisbury. The facility is very clean, the food is good quality, the atmosphere is bright and inviting in the entrance and the common areas. She has a 2 bedroom unit and it is perfect for what she needs. I do not think they offer many of those. They are opening up a new section soon and I believe the units there will be larger than the basic units they offer now. I would recommend Commonwealth in Salisbury to others.

All 5 stars! This is a beautiful facility. It is spotless and cheerful. Staff are friendly and attentive. Our family has visited 5 to 6 days per week. The care is consistent and the food is excellent. We couldn't be more pleased. Thank you A Place for Mom for the referral (we prayed about this the night before the interview - this was an answer to prayer). This was the first and only facility I toured. I knew immediately this was the place. I did not see any reason to have to visit other facilities.

We picked this community, because of the friendliness of the staff management cleanliness and out the other patients were being traded it was a super placeThey did a wonderful job with my mom and the staff treated her and the other people like family. I would highly recommend it.

I toured The Devonshire and this facility was excellent! This facility also felt very welcoming. The staff, friendliness, and cleanliness were all excellent as well. I only chose a different facility due to having a patio and being close to family.
