Commonwealth Senior Living

All of the above is great at Commonwealth senior living. I have no experience with the memory care level there so I can't comment. I'd give the independent and assisted living levels a five. A really friendly staff, good general care, lots of activities and transportation services provided, adequate apartment sizes. Good cleanliness, really nice dining room rooms, sparkly clean though I've heard the food is a little bland.

They go above & beyond what other senior facilities would do to help families in tough situations. The staff were all on board to protect my mom. I couldn't ask for a better place to have my mom at. Sadly, she passed away after only two months at Commonwealth Senior Living from cancer. But at least she was in a safe, clean place with people watching out for her instead of living in a filthy hoarder house. My sister still hates me, but I did the right thing and I couldn't have done it without Commonwealth's help

Definitely a five very clean place. Everyone's friendly. Just a good place for my brother. I would recommend to others.

It's a nice looking facility and is well kept. Lots of common areas and lots of windows. The staff is very friendly...even maintenance and kitchen. The physical/occupational therapist that came in weekly was great too. The fact that they have general assisted living care AND a memory care floor was extremely helpful when dad's mental capacity declined.

The staff gets a 5+. What we like the most about the community is that the families inquiries are addressed promptly and individually. The friendliness of all of the staff and volunteers encourages everyone involved

Everything is great - any concerns we have had are handled. Overall I'm still very happy.

I would give each category a 5! We all love Commonwealth and are so happy that we chose it for our mom. It's clean and feels safe. Everyone is very kind.

All staff I was in contact with seemed very well trained, caring and very respectful of the patients and families. I would not hesitate to recommend placement if a loved one there. I sort of want to put myself on their waiting list.

We had a great experience while my dad was there the staff was amazing everyone was was like family the new upgrades are really nice well needed to keep up with other facilities

What we like the most about the community is the friendly staff and the location. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families.

The staff is friendly, attentive and caring. My mom always comments on how good the food tastes. The facility appears clean and well kept. They offer fun daily activities like bingo, movies, and crafts. My mom is not extremely social but she does enjoy watching the live entertainers that come in periodically. My mom has a 1 bedroom apartment which gives her plenty of room.

[name removed] was stellar and helped me tremendously. I can honestly say, "she showed me the way to find my wife a senior memory care unit" she is wonderful and I owe her my thanks. Everyone should use a "place for mom" to find their loved one a safe, caring , clean place

The staff is great. My uncle loves them. I would recommend it to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

My mom could not walk or even feed herself when she got to this facility. I feel with the environment & care she has received helped with her attitude & well being for herself & can now walk & pretty much do things on her own. Very nice & helpful staff

Staff has been very welcoming and extremely helpful in assisting my father adjust to living in the community. He seems to like the food (no complaints yet lol). Facility is very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately I can't comment on activities because he doesn't participate in any of those no matter how much I try and encourage him. He is in a studio and I feel that it is a good size given the amount of furniture he has. The community is newly renovated and looks really nice. Staff is very good at communication and has alerted me to concerns they have with my dad between my visits with him. I have a lot of peace of mind knowing he is there and that the staff is attentive.

The staff are trying to get to know the residents. As far as I can tell, and they are trying to engage with them as well

Commonwealth is beautiful, clean and a warm, friendly environment. The dining facilities are excellent with a wide selection of food. Staff is attentive and caring. We are very pleased.

My husband, the resident said it best..."It's relaxing." " I always have something to do." The staff is friendly and patient with the residents. The ratio of staff to residents is excellent, always. I would happily recommend Commonwealth Senior Living to anyone needing placement for a memory care family member. The small community provides caring individual attention and activities. The dining room is calm and quiet, with seconds and thirds happily served. Last night, my loved one drank four bowls of the butternut squash soup! [name removed], activity leader in memory care is always cheerful! She brings a smile to my loved one throughout the day!
