I was not impressed with this community when I had taken my tour for my mother. The entire building felt very cold and did not have a home feeling I would want for her to live in. I felt like I was walking on a cruise ship or checking into a hotel it just was not the right fit for her.

This facility was nice. One associate I met there seemed excellent in her care of the Memory folks. [Removed] could transition to Memory Care if necessary. Parking outside was inefficient. They had a lot of family functions going on, although great for some, not necessarily for [Removed]. It seemed like she could become isolated again there. The room was very nice, only one left. The pricing was as high as Brookdale. Scheduled an assessment for 2/17. Haven't heard back from Jamie yet on the rating.

I can say that I really liked the Executive Director she was very, very helpful. Everyone was very nice to us. The building was nice as well. I just did not like the cold not so homey feeling that the place gave me. I wanted mom to feel warm and at home.

When dad first moved in the carpet was dirty. We had to tell them about that a few times before it got taken care of. However, the staff here is wonderful and very friendly. Dad enjoys the meals and going to the dining hall. Dad has not gotten involved with the activities yet,but he is still transitioning.

We visited Kings Grant House on Tuesday, 12/6/16, and met with Susan. This was our first visit to a facility. The tour was so nice and Susan was very helpful answering our questions. We had a change in plans and are looking for a place for mom and dad so we need independent and assisted care. Kings Grant begins with the assisted level. Nice place but not what we need.

The is a community that was nice and had great staff members. Very clean and well taken care of. I was offered alot of activities to keep active. This community was not a good fit for me, but others might be happy here.

I was able to tour this place and have to say that the staff is great. They showed me around and answered all questions. The place just didn't seem right. The halls were small and there was very little light. The feeling I got from the place was really low.

This is a nice community. My tour went pretty well. They have a nice staff, they were nice and friendly. From what I saw the community appeared to be well maintained. Everything looks neat and tidy. They were informative and answered my questions. It was a good tour, but not the place for my aunt and her needs.

Everything is going well and I hope improvements in cleaning will get better. My mother-in-law's room could use better cleaning, especially in her bathroom. We feel that it is not meeting our standards. The care is adequate here. The staff are very good but I have observed they are shorthanded with staff people.

Men and women are segregated. Locked unit on first floor with access to outdoor courtyard. Small unit, but many activities. Noticeably loud due to patients. Slight odor when walking through bedroom halls.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Crystal Springs was a nice enough looking place, but I don't think it would have been a good fit for my loved one. When I visited it appeared most of the residents were in the TV room in chairs with blankets napping, and my loved one just isn't at the point where she would want to nap in the middle of the day, she needs somewhere a little more active.

My grandfather resided here for 3 whole days and had a set back and needed to go back to the hospital. We were told he was welcome to come back then 4 days later the director said she would go assess him and decide she never assessed him and said he couldn't come back. They wouldn't refund much of his money and now has no money to go anywhere else until next month and he will be discharged soon from the hospital. They had no consideration of his condition and he is a veteran.

They mad the transition to come here very easy. The lady who helped us get set up really did an excellent job. I do feel that it would have been best had I looked at and compared other places besides Kings Grant House. They have been doing a lot of construction, which is not yet complete. Overall it hasn't been too bad, but nothing exceptionally wonderful either.

I'm experiencing Bad vibes from the administrative staff. They say one thing to get your loved one there and switch up later. The lead director appears oblivious when communicating with her. This could be a much better place if they were honest and had better managers.

This facility was clean and attractive. However, it was very quiet when I was there; I saw no male residents there; and my impression was that my parents might be lonely and bored. I was there at 4pm, just before dinner, and perhaps residents were resting at that time of day...?

Way to far away. Staff friendly over the phone.

The first thing that happened as we were waiting for our appointment here was that a well-appointed woman with a walker said, 'If you want to have a heart attack, stay on that couch. You will hear things that will give you a heart attack. People screaming and no one helps them...' She was clearly addled, but it was not a good first impression. I didn't think The Landing was a good fit for my mom.

From what I can see it looks clean to me, however occasionally, I smell a urine odor, just every now and then. Some of the nurses aren't too friendly, but everyone else is very nice. I think they take really good care of my dad, especially the people in charge. They want me to tell them right away, if I have any concerns. They have plenty of activities going on, my dad is walking a lot more, and he's doing stuff, and he has really improved. He's very happy with the food. We liked the location, and as soon as we finished our tour we were very impressed. Ilene Lipton really went to bat and helped make it happen. Star has also been really helpful, and is always looking out for my dad.

The main problem is very substandard nursing care for the assisted living residents. Our family member who resided their noticed this as she is a retired RN. It was her main reason for leaving, should be become ambulatory in the future. She said that there is a lack of supervision of the nurses and some residents suffered unnecessarily, due to substandard medical care. The air conditioning and heating is obsolete and uncomfortable. If the above two items were corrected, the Hermitage would be a very good place.

This facility had a nursing home feel. I was looking for one with a community feeling.
