Terri was an excellent tour guide and was a good salesperson for this property. We discussed my financial limitations and she assured me that my SSI income would be doable at this location. I liked the layout of this property and it was very nicely staged, we visited in the unit so it allowed me more time to actually see what it had to offer. Terri has been at this location for 7years and it was evident that she has a srong connection to the residents. I would probably rate this first out of the three. I would still meed further discussion on not only the base rent but the monthly charges for additional services, parking and storage etc. She said she would keep in touch and I have alrady received a mailing from her.

very nice place, felt calm and peaceful. ait kind and personable, branch mgr very nice on phone. seemed well-run; however concerned about recent violations. lots of red tape stuff and some care and cleaning issue. mainly, alz patient lost for 2 hours and returned by police, facility had not noticed!!! yikes! everyting is an add-on. but i liked facility.

We are still having some growing pains. Everyone is dealing with shortage of staff, so that is causing some concern. We are still trying to sort out the food. There are a lot of fried foods, breaded things, and salty stuff served. The meals are not balanced. Overall there are just some improvements that they could make. The people have all been lovely, very nice and helpful. It does take a few asks to get things done. What drew us to this facility was the large rooms and storage space. Also the grounds are lovely and well kept.

After speaking with Seaton Chesterfield they had told me that they were not appropriate and would not be able to meet my loved ones needs. A couple of weeks later they called me and asked if I had made a decision yet on a facility, so I was just very confused by the whole situation.

We chose The Devonshire because of the location as well as they had immediate availability at the time. They also offered good incentives on rent and they had a lot of big selling points even some of them were not completely followed through on. We did have some issues with them coming in to clean the room like they said they would. He is in a studio apartment which works fine for what he needs. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.
