We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. It was a nice looking community, and everyone seemed very friendly We were very impressed by the care offered here, especially for the price, it seemed very cheap for the level of care they provided.

My mother did move in to Whispering Way about 3 weeks ago. She really likes it. We spent a month looking for the perfect "quiet" place for her that would be in her budget & this one filled all her requirements.

Clean and well maintained common areas. Staff and residents were friendly and welcoming. Being updated. Rooms were nice.

Overall I feel like they've done a good job here, although there is certainly room for improvement! The staff have been very friendly and accommodating, and they're great about staying in touch with families and keeping them up-to-date!

This was a very nice facility. Everything had recently been updated and was very pleasing to the eyes. The facility was clean and the units were very nice. The only problem we had was the folks would have to be on the second floor all the time because the first floor was for those who required assistance all the time. There really was a garden area for them to walk around when the weather gets nice.

I enjoyed the ambience of this facility, the multiple sun rooms, outside gardens and activities, location, and staff. The attention to memory care is notable.

They work with families going through some hard situations here, and they do a great job. They're very easy to work with, they listen to families and address your concerns. The community itself is pleasant, it's nice looking and they keep it very clean. The staff are all very friendly, and the activities and care they provide are good.

We looked at this place and it was a toss up between this and the place my mom is at now. I liked the rooms here. The size of the rooms was good. The staff was nice too. We chose the other community because of the cost and my mother was looking for a Christian community and this was not Christian.

Jody Goush was a wonderful courteous host. She represented her community well. The models were beautiful; clean and staged perfectly to provide a visual of a comfortable living space. A little pricy for me at this time.

This was our second choice to Georgian Manor and it turns out they were also affiliated with Commonwealth so we just like their facilities. The memory care unit was probably about the same size as georgian manor but it was just the feeling you got when you walked in. There wasn't a smell and it wasn't so much that I didn't like the layout of their memory care it was just that feeling walking in.

The biggest thing is dad's a little messy when he eats so they should be cleaning him up a little more often. He's gone down to a couple of activities but I don't know if he particpates in them and he's got dementia so he doens't really remember, they have a memory care unit and do things with them there. I know they keep check on him and they bring him out. He's had a lot of medical problems lately so it's hard to tell how the care is right now. I think one thing they could improve on is communication with the family, I don't really get a whole lot of phone calls on what's going on. I've called them and they've communicated different things to me. The memory care is a smaller facility and I felt like they'd keep better check on him and they do seem to do that and bringing him out to the common areas.

This was more of your nursing home type of environment, although I do think they had less of a lock down environment and my brother lives over by there so we thought it would be nice but it ended up being a little too far.

This was very nice, probably a little better up kept than English Meadows. If it would have just been my choice, I probably would have chosen this one. They tried to keep them involved with other people in the facility and they had tv rooms and they did activities with them a couple of times a week. I don't think they provided more activities than English Meadows it was just newer and seemed nicer and the staff were very helpful, the lady I did the tour with was very nice.

When I went there they were having a diarrhea outbreak or something like that and they had them almost quarantined off. Some people might have been turned off by that, but I wasn't turned away because I know how those things can go. The people were all very nice and it was clean and it looked adequate to me. I probably would have put him there because it was mrer convinient for us. It didn't look as nice, it wasn't as bright or cherry as Clare Bridge but I was okay with dad being here.

They were very good up until my mother's dementia was so bad that they really didn't have the facility, the staff, or the staff level to handle it. For independent living it was good and very reasonably priced. I wouldn't say it has the sophistication of some of the more expensive place but the care my mother got was very good. She was there for 3.5 years and most of the staff that was there when she arrived was there when she left. There is not a lot of turnover and it's a very family oriented kind of place.

The care is more than good. My mother has been better since she's been there. They have a lock down memory care part which my mom needs. They have varying activites. It's pretty much after breakfast until nighttime. They have different games or outside stuff. They go out to different parks or a green house or something and go around town. I'm pretty happy with them. They have a chef that makes all the meals. They are very good meal, according to my mom. They try to get people involved with the activities - they don't let people just sit in the room all day which is a plus.

I had a very nice visit with Luann and Sara. I can see that Elmcroft is a very caring community and may be a good possibility in the future. Luann is such a caring person and I think this reflects throughout. It was nice to see some of the Morningside staff. At Luann's suggestion, I am going to request a care meeting with the staff at Spring Arbor for my mother.

It is a very nice place. Really clean with no foul odors. I like the fact that it’s smaller than other places with more personalized care. Mom gets the one on one treatment and attention that she needs and the other people look happy as well. The grounds outside are under repair, they are redoing them and making the grounds bigger. The food is fair; mom likes some of the food and others not so much. I wish that they would have a better selection of meals. The people are very pleasant and nice. The only drawback is that they don’t have much of a choice when it comes to activities for people that have pore eyesight.
