The staff is great and very helpful and the facility is always clean and fresh smelling. It is very convenient and this was [name removed]'s first choice.

The staff is fantastic. They are friendly and helpful. The facility is always very clean. The rooms are a great size. The Program Coordinator and activities team are incredible. There is always something to do and opportunities to gather with other residents. As far as the food goes, I think sometimes they overcook the meats.

My loved one is a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at Salisbury. Some of the staff are warm and friendly, others are not. It is hard to connect with them. It doesn't seem like they have enough or the right mix of staff. A few are exceptional and others are mediocre, cold, irritated. Don't want to be bothered and defensive. My loved one states concerns with the food, specifically the temperature and also getting items off of the anytime menu. As for the Value for Cost, it is a lot of money. Hard to gauge if all the value is being derived that could be. My parents quality of life has improved dramatically and dad is safe and has a lot more choices then if he were in a nursing home.

This is a great place! Mom really likes it. Much better than her previous facility. Friendly staff, good nurses.. really first month has been great so far.. they also have a family night with food and drink, anyone can come.. it's a very nice thing to provide

The experience has been very good and my loved one is happy here. My aunt is in memory care. They do a very good job. They care & are very professional. [name removed] is wonderful. She has made this transition for me a lot easier than I had expected. I would give her a 10!!

Better communication between staff needs to happen. They need a portal of some sort for better communication between employees and residents. It would give families peace of mind.

These are my loved ones answers - The staff is very nice and responsive but the problem isn't always resolved and requires follow up. That would be our comment on staff.

The staff (aides) are very friendly and knowledgeable. But they are generally slow in responding to the resident's pendant alert system, especially at night. I brought this to the attention of the director several times. Housekeeping was great. Communication with the family was good. The move in process was also good. Meals are of the highest quality and the menu is on a good rotation. The executive chef knows what he is doing. One area of improvement would be better supervision of the aides at night. Also, a more timely dispensing of meds, especially PRN meds, needs to be worked on. I would definitely recommend Seaton Chesterfield, with the understanding that it isn't perfect. I realize that finding and retaining capable staff is difficult. This is probably true in all assisted living & nursing homes, so that should be taken into consideration.

I have already recommended this place for another family member. And I chose this place because it was so close to home. They took good care of mom until she passed.

Communication not as good as I would like. Care could be a little better but my dad is tough. Food selection could be better.The first place accepted my dad then declined. Commonwealth said they would accept him.

I like that it is smaller. Seems more intimate. I like that I can usually get a response back when I reach out to the Director or the nurses. I adore Iman, the Concierge. Most everyone is friendly, caring, and responsive. I enjoy the way the aids interact with the residents. You can see genuine love and care.

We picked this community because of the price, which is one of the highest of all that I investigated, I would hope the rooms to be higher quality. The closet doors, lighting, are on the level of low quality apartment rentals, and the maintenence around d the building is especially poor, with piled maintenance refuse behind the building....which is especially regrettable given the center is in an overall upscale region. I would recommend to others. We picked this community because of the location, the view from the room, the safety features in place.

I think it's a great place. I've become friends with alot of the staff and they do care very much. A bit lacking in communication at times. We are working with that now. I feel very comfortable having my mom there.

Friendly and helpful but short staffed i think. facility is beautiful. Sometimes hard to get call backs about things. medical issues handled well. lots of great activities. Unfortunately our relative just stays in her room and gets meals delivered. so sometimes they don't look the greatest by the time she opens the box. so, that's why she doesn't like the food.

My loved one was previously a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at Hillsville. I have minimal complaints. Good response when we asked for things we felt were needed. So happy to be there with Hospice overseeing and we also hired additional caregivers so someone would be with her the majority of the day. Rarely any extra at night.

We would encourage them to place their loved one in American House Wyoming. In 9 weeks time, we feel they have taken care of my Mom on the secure Dementia wing of the third floor very well. We can sleep easy at night. We needed to quickly find a place for mom but wasn't sure where to begin. A Place for Mom did the leg work for us and in less than 48 hours we had checked out the homes which were possible for Moms new residence

My loved one was previously a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at Grand Rapids and overall his experience at this facility was good. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and responsive to questions and/or requests. They advertise their meals as farm to table. That is not really what I observed, but they were dealing with quite a variety of tastes and appetites.

What we like the most about the Seaton Chesterfield community is the staff. The staff members are helpful and personable with the other residents. The community itself is also nicely decorated and inviting.

The dining room is great but meals to rooms are always cold, bread hard , vegetables overcooked. Based on the experience we have had so far with this community, we would recommend Commonwealth Senior Living at Salisbury to other families.

My loved one is currently a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at New Baltimore and everything has been very good for her at this facility so far. The staff are great, when they have enough of them. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The meals, care services and value for cost are good. The staff are great listeners, open to suggestions and try to resolve any issues or concerns as quickly as possible! As for the activities, they have things that most of the residents are able to do going on everyday.
