Leaving the country and knowing that my mother was left in good hands gave me a peace of mind. They communicated with me very well there were no bad calls. My mother enjoys the meals that are provided for her. I would definitely recommend this place they have been doing a great job with their services. The activities are above and beyond they are the best!

From the initial phone care to the very end, the entire staff were helpful, caring and courteous. They really treat every person like family and that was beautiful to witness.

Very impressive. The person we met with was very willing to provide information even though Elmcroft did not appear to be a good fit. Staff was friendly and busy. Residents were out and about, busy and socializing. That was encouraging. We were looking for independent living but for assisted living it appears to be an excellent option.

I liked seeing this community and I thought this is a really good place. It appeared clean and nice. Since it was later in the day there was not much activities happening. However, I saw some residents in the dining area and they were friendly to chat with. The staff all seemed to be courteous and respectful.

My dad is doing okay and he is still trying to get use to his new home. The staff are good help and recognizing his personality. I have no complaints about the staff but they could improve on washing clothes. My dad does not eat a lot but I think the food is good and they give him options if he does not like what is being served. There are plenty of activities to try out.

This was a very lovely community. The tour guide was very informative. They offered me a complimentary meal that was good. The community was very clean and there was no odor. The interaction between the staff and residents was great.

My mother received excellent care while at Crystal Springs Assisted Living. Of the several facilities we toured, their rooms were more spacious, comfortable, and easily personalized - along with being far less expensive. Staff was professional, caring and compassionate. The staff was quick to listen and respond to the few concerns we had. Food was good quality and lots of fresh varieties for snacking. Worked well with hospice to provide for end of life care - for both my mother and our family. We were treated like family.

The Ballentine is a lovely community and the closest thing you will find to "home". My mother has been at the Ballentine twice; once last year as a trial stay, and then returned again earlier this year. She was so pleased with the love, attention and friendship during her first stay, when the need arose for a more permanent stay, she immediately asked to go back to the same facility she loved so much. The staff is so attentive to mom, which is very reassuring to me since I'm a couple hours away and only get to visit her a few times per month. My sister lives closer and we both have been pleased with most everything. We did have an issue with her temperature a couple months back, and the team immediately resolved the issue and was courteous in doing so. There have been some changes in the top leadership since our time there, but we have found the new folks to be incredibly kind, professional and committed to the residents and Ballentine families. The residents and staff all seem happy to be there - it's just a good feeling place. It is tough to think about the process of moving your parent out of there home and entrusting their every need to someone else, but I can tell you the folks at Ballentine are second to none, and truly treat not just our mother, but our family as if we are their's too. We didn't realize how much it would mean to us to feel this too. We couldn't ask for a happier, loving and beautiful home for our mother.

Vickie spent a lot of time with me, educating not just on Commonwealth but on Alzheimer's as well. She runs the support group at The Willows in Winchester. I was impressed by the activities going on--Seniors dancing--and the farm fresh food and cleanliness of the facility. I liked the monthly themes by country and the displays of srtwork. Also, this facility spends a good portion of time finding out what makes each resident tick by surveying their families on their past. Each room has a shadowbox out front to display things recognized by that individual. Definitely tailored memory care.

Very knowledgeable and helpful

The staff at Georgian Manor is excellent. They are very friendly and help my mom whenever she needs it. There is a great variety of food to choose from and it is good. They have a calendar of daily activities for her to choose from. The community is clean and very well maintained. I would recommend this community.

My loved one is in this facility. It is very warm and inviting. During my search I look at two other places. I couldn't have been happier choosing Commonwealth, they know my mother's behavior and personality. When she wasn't acting like herself they call me and let me know. We were able to get a doctors appointment and she was back to herself. The staff greets me every time I walk in with smiling faces. At the first of the month they have a dinner for all the families to come to and it is a chance to be with my mother. It was the right chose in my book. I highly recommend.

I met with Melisa [Removed] and was very impressed with the meeting and tour. I spent 2 hours and left with knowing that not only did she care about my dad but also about me and my brother and sisters. She has Made herself available to answer any additional questions and give a tour of the facilities to the rest of my family. The facility itself was clean and light it was nicely decorated and provided its clientele a safe environment. The activities offered a holistic approach to caregiving.

The staff at the Gloucester House has been amazing and accommodating. They understood our needs and worked with us. The staff is always happy, which tells me that the facility is under good management. I highly recommend the Gloucester House for your loved ones.

It was the hardest decision that I have had to make moving my grandfather out of our home where he had been for several years. Elmcroft made the transition easy and their caring staff has continued to support us. It is truly like having him be with family!!

Since Commonwealth Assisted Living took over this community at the end of April 2015 the improvements have been amazing! They increased care staff, added another LPN, brought in a real chef and began serving fresh food. They added more housekeeping and have administrative staff on site seven days a week. My mom is so happy with the improvements as are her table mates. We highly recommend this community to anyone looking for help in caring for their loved one.

Our family member has been at Prestige Commons for just two weeks now. As far as we can tell, she is getting very good care. She is happy and in her own words "I love it here". I think that should just about sum it up. Everyone has been very helpful, accommodating, and very courteous, no matter how many times I've had to call with questions. We would definitely recommend Prestige Commons to anyone that has a loved family member who can no longer live on their own, or if it's too difficult for family members to take care of their loved one.

I toured for my god mother. The admissions department spent a great deal of time with me. We first sat in the dining room, which overlooked a lake with swan ducks. I immediately felt at ease. I can honestly say I felt a connection and although this community is a distance, I am leaning towards choosing them. It's the people inside the walls that makes a difference.

I had to go out of town because of a death in the family. This was the first time I ever placed my mother in respite care and she was very happy and content when I picked her up. Our experience with Kings Grant House was very pleasant and I will definitely use them again whenever expedient.
