They help in all ways, some things may need to asked for. Like shampooing carpet after an accident. The urine odor can be strong. They do their best, with a lot of staff changes there have been a few in training. I can call every day to check on my brother. They give me details of his day, this is nice when the weather is bad and I can't get there. He is there alone now. My sister in-law died in January. I would like more communication if something is needed, that seems to be forgotten, then I get there and I didn't bring anything because I didn't know. All in all, they do great, my brother is well taken care of.

My loved one is currently a resident at Shelby Comfort Care. This is a good facility! I would recommend them to others.

We chose Shelby Comfort Care over other facilities that we looked into because of the value for the money as well as just how nice the facility is. We have been very pleased with staff & facility at Shelby Comfort Care.

There is alot of staff turn over. Because of this sometimes care items get missed. For example hospice changes med orders and staff was not aware. Also, they at times weren't aware of the diet ordered. This is a great assisted living but if the patient requires full care it is more challenging for the staff.

They were very easy to work with. I would recommend, when you consider the cost.

I would recommend them. We picked this community, because the cost fit our budget.

Livonia Comfort community was a good place for our loved one for his finally resting days in their memory care unit. Based on the experience we had with the community, we would recommend them to other families.

Overall we had a good experience at Reed City Fields, and I would recommend it. With all the problems my mother had, I think they took very good care of her.

August Haus is a nice place overall. You definitely have to stay in touch with them and take care of issues. It may take a few calls or visits, so be persistent.

They are understaffed so sometimes unable to respond in a timely manner. When it comes to the meals they do not grind meat as requested. Many repeat pasta meals. May be due to having lost chef soon after mom moved in and unable to replace. Often times the nurse and director cook the meals. Seem to have a variety available but mom chooses not to participate. She would welcome a Bible study to attend. If promised services were provided, it would be fair. Laundry and sheets not washed/changed in a timely manner. Sometimes sheets are not washed and changed weekly. Recently when I approached director to inquire, sheets were removed but not replaced until the next day when I asked for sheets so I could make the bed. This is not okay.

My father loves it at Reed City Fields, and he loves the staff. . . He misses his home, but is safe and secure here. He is well cared for and taken care of. Our experience is only with the secured area. I feel I can breathe again.

They were generally on top of things. The care was very good. Overall, I would recommend to other famlies.

Great place for care. Would put myself there. They could use more help with nursing staff 24/7.

For the most part this has been a good experience. There have been glitches; however, I believe this is because of a change of management. This is a good place, and the community is smaller. I feel the residents get more individualized attention here. I heard they have hired a new chef. The food can be hit or miss. I wish the meals could be better for my loved one. There should be more activities for the residents to participate in.

So far we're pretty happy with them. I would like more communication. But overall, they're very good. Everybody is super friendly and nice. It always appears clean when we go to visit, and there are only odors every once in a while.

Smaller community and that was good. The care my loved one received was great. The value we got was great. The communication was not really that great but did improve towards the end. I would recommend this community to others.

The facility seems very nice. It is assisted living and memory care. We weren't as impressed with the memory care wing. It seemed more hospital atmosphere. They prefer to have residents in the common area,so it easier to keep an eye on them. The dining area does not have structured seating. We didn't feel that this would be a good fit for Mother.

The staff at this community are good, however there was one mix up with mom's medicine. The food is home cooked and excellent. They keep the community clean. The only issue I have is that there is not a lot of activities in the assisted living area. They only play bingo every afternoon. I would recommend this community to someone that was not looking for an active environment.

I like how most of the residents get along. I didn't expect that. I wish that the employee turnover wasn't so constant. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families. I know my brother in law is being cared for.

Good location for residents that don't need skill nurses. Nursing staff was only during the day. Cleaning of residents bathroom was limited. Staff was friendly. I would only recommend them under certain situations.
