Was there less than 3 full days fell out of wheelchair and broke his hip needed surgery after 3 days was sent back to facility without any pain medication when staff tried to get him out of bed next morning he became very combative hospice nurse was called and after her evaluation she called doctor and had him transferred to Hospice on Tampa Road to try and control his pain he died the next day so I don’t have very much to say about Wickshire but hospice treated him with dignity right to the end

They were in the middle of an ownership change when I pulled him out so not sure how they are doing with the new company. Cleanliness- good Food- fair Staff- friendly but not much experience with memory care residents. Not enough help in memory care No activities planned for memory care residents. Residents were put in front of the TV and just left there until meals. Not sure about bathroom encouragement. Not a bad place for independent or assisted living residents but definitely would not recommend for memory care. Of course it may be different now.

The nurses were fabulous, but the admin was terrible. The care given by nurses was good-but seeing a doctor and getting meds was terrible. We were told there were monthly outings that never happened. We spent [fee removed] for two months of care and it was not good. We needed them in a pinch so we didn't have a choice at the time. It was great at first but quickly changed. They told us it was a Medicaid facility, which it is not. The communication was terrible. We never even received invoices or information on what to do when we were moving out. They charged an extraordinary amount of money for little to no service sadly. We have since moved my mom to[community name removed] and are so pleased! They are amazing!

My Dad pushed his call button on 3 occasions and he felt it took 20 minutes for them to respond. Once he had fallen and when the aid finally got there she asked him"What do you want me to do?" They run out of options for the main course at dinner and I spoke with the head of dining room and did not get any help. They nickel and dime the residents for everything. No I would not recommend them. I would however recommend Trinity Place in Pasco. Wickshire did seem to have several activities available but my Dad only went to the daily devotions.

We had an abundance of problems with The Landmark when my dad was there. They had a lot of turn over and other issues. There were a couple of staff members who really worked hard and took better care off my dad. But there were so many others that just didn't care or weren't trained very well. We ended up moving him to a different facility.

The food is mediocre at best. There have been times when my mother got her lunch that it was cold. They seem to serve a lot of Fish and Chicken repeatedly throughout the week. there are two women who I feel go above and beyond and taking care of my mother. The med tech is [name removed] and the aid is [name removed]. We trust them to give my mother the attention she needs. I have had quite a few meetings with the executive director. During the meeting she always assures us that the issues we are bringing to her attention will be taken care of, but that never happens. The billing I find to be a little exorbitant. My mother is sharing a room with another woman yet my mother's bill is thousands of dollars a month. I never seem to get a bill that's broken down it's just one lump sum. We have had many problems with the other med techs, whether it's giving my mother the correct dosage of medication, or the correct time that she's supposed to get her medication. Again speaking with the executive director this was supposed to have been taken care of and we went back and forth with them for over a month to finally get it straightened out. We don't know who changed it and we don't know why they changed it from the way it was when Mom first got there. That has been a huge concern, and quite frankly we are getting extremely concerned about this. Every time we go in to visit Mom we have to check to make sure that she has been getting the correct medication the correct dosage at the correct times I don't feel this should be our job. I don't even feel that all the med techs and AIDS are certified.

My husband who is POA for our friend has been trying for 1/2 hour to contact the location for a wellness check of our friend who was diagnosed months ago. We were to be contacted once a week with a health update. We haven’t been contacted in two months. We live 15 hours from the facility so we can’t just pop down to check on things. Now that it is cooperate owned the contact has been terrible. We are concerned about how our relative is being cared for.

The services are basic. Anything above food in restaurant, Laundry and house cleaning is an up charge. People need to be aware. For instance Level 1 is a $[removed] up charge. It should provide bathroom help, two showers a week, and putting to bed and getting up. They will only provide this if the resident pushes the button to ask for it. They are not proactive in getting resident up or into bed. My father didn't understand to push the button and slept and soiled in the chair many nights. People need to know they have basic services. No medical personnel on staff except for one who is the head of the department. We were sold on many things that did not come to fruition and learned after what was offered or not offered. My father has fell out of his chair and I wasn't told. He pressed the button this weekend to say he was having a hard time breathing. They have no medical staff but didn't even call hospice to let them know. Overall I am not impressed with the services, but I don't know if that's the same everywhere.

My loved one was a resident at The Pointe, we recently moved him out. The facility is dirty. Poor service. Poor food. Medication management was poor. Communication with after hours staff was laughable. I understand it's hard to hire these days, but the level of care isn't worth the money. I would not recommend this facility to others.

We picked this community, because It wasn't quite as expenisve as others, it was very close to my home, and they offered military discount. The biggest problem that we had is getting the sponsor to interact, with my loved one. We waited a few weeks, and there was one contact within two weeks. They could have done a lot more to make my loved one feel invloved. My loved one did not feel welcomed. In addition, the food was terribe. They have two elevators, and one was completely unusable for most of the time that we were there.

We had to move my grandmother out after only 5 weeks at Wickshire and I was highly disappointed. Prior to admission to their memory care unit, I was told they could handle her needs if she were admitted with hospice care for additional help and she would be able to age in place there. They sent out a referral for hospice (at that rehab center she was at) before transferring her and she was placed on hospice at this time. I was explained that this was "extra help hospice" not end of life hospice by the admissions person from Wickshire. This was not accurate. Hospice stated that she would not be able to have anything but palliative care. Immediately after she moved in, wickshire was not able to physically care for her properly. They were having trouble transferring her as a 2 person max assist and bathing her. Hospice started doing bed baths only and Wickshire staff started leaving her in bed most of the day. They were giving her finger foods because they could not provide the staff to feed her, yet staff was feeding two other people. My other huge disappointment was that we were informed she would be receiving physical therapy and they had the 3rd party company on site. This is one of the main reasons I chose this facility. PT was one of my top priorities which I made well known. This was also not accurate information sales team and they over promised and under delivered. They should have never admitted my grandmother as now I know she really needed a skilled nursing facility. They also have no activities on the memory care unit. They sit them in front of the TV and half the time it isn't even working. They also do not clean the tables after every meal only once per day. We had brought in a tervis with a straw for my grandmother to drink from and upon moving her out I found it was so disgusting and never cleaned and she was still drinking from it that day. The straw was literally filled with gunk. I am thankful for the staff that were caring and kind enough to be honest with me despite the administration telling me they should be able to handle her needs. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am just happy I moved my grandmother out before she declined any further or she got hurt because they didn't have the staff trained or equipment to handle her.

Arbor Hills has had its problems like most facilities. High turnover of staff, uninteresting food or lots of cream sauces and food so tough my elderly parent can't eat it. A lot of internal turmoil. People moving out as fast as they enter. Administration "listens" to resident complaints but there is rarely solutions provided. I get the feeling this place is more about the money than it is about its residents. There are a few staff who have been super helpful and sweet but even they are limited in their ability to effect much change.

My family member currently resides at Landmark and is looking to find a better assisted living place. Three days in a row, they shorted him several of his medications because they ran out of stock. That could be dangerous! When he presses the "call for help" button, the staff takes up to an hour to respond, which could be too late in the case of a medical emergency. When he makes a request or asks a question, often they don't get back to him. Dinner is served around 4:45pm, and breakfast is served at 6:45am ... a 14 hour stretch between meals! They don't make much effort to accommodate my family member's special dietary needs. There are roaches ... I caught one and showed it to the front desk staff. The upsides of the community are: it offers activities for residents, the staff is friendly to visitors, and the common areas are nice. Landmark is supposed to be one of the better assisted living places, so my family member worries he won't find a good quality place elsewhere, either.

The front desk workers were always very nice as well as a couple of the nurses we dealt with, however the business manager was rude at times, almost insulting and if you had a question she would decide when she would want to answer. So anything but helpful, but the salesman who took us on the virtual tour was very nice and very helpful. We did see the food a couple of times and there was a very high carbohydrate content.

I had made an appointment for a tour here. When I got there the person who I was to tour with was not there, so I just got information about the community. They didn't call to let me know she was not going to be there. I also did not like that there are several levels to facility and that it sat near the highway.

My Mom has been here for over 6 years and because she is afraid of change she continues to put up with poor care and mismanagement. I think I have FINALLY talked her into a move because is just keeps getting worse and worse!

We moved out because of disagreements. Very poor management. The place was fairly good for the conditions that my brother needed, but they had problems in handling the residents. They had severe employee turnover particularly in the management. The food was only fair.
