I think clients and THE Pointe's Staff will improve by including a lot more fresh fruit every day! Please put a sign up sheet for red Lobster and Outback restraunts 2x monthly!

The Pointe as a whole has been a blessing. We thank the staff who share their compassion for residents and our mom, including daily care, planning activities and family gatherings! Our concerns are the disrespectful attitudes of the staff (some) towards moms questions or needs, adding to her anxiety and feeling of being unvalued. The inconsistencies of scheduled care such as med dispercement, showers, dining, laundry and room cleaning are ongoing. We are hopeful these areas will improve.

When it comes to the food to me is not quality meals and sort of not heated well and for instance grill cheese sandwich with 1 slice of cheese on a non toasted bread. Wickshire Port St. Lucie is very nice. Clean in memory care. Aids are especially caring. I did have some problems that took 1 year to get taken care of, but that was due to a help problem in the maintenance department which has been taken care of. All around clean and pleasant. Would definitely recommend and happy to have a safe place for my step dad to live.

It was super frustrating to not have anyone greet or guide my sister when she moved in, especially when we were told she would have someone show her the ropes for her first 2 weeks.

I would tell others looking into Wickshire Countryside that all of that staff here are very friendly and helpful. Although the response time for the aids tends to be a little slow. The food seems to be very high in sodium. They also often run out of food that is on the menus. Overall I would still recommend Wickshire Countryside to others.

Wickshire Port St. Lucie is a clean community and the staff who care for our loved one are caring, calm and patient. We would recommend the community to other families but the meals, dining service and activities need improvement.

The team was very helpful transitioning my Aunt from one facility to another although we weren’t able to be on site ourselves. They even found furniture for us to make my Aunt feel more at home. One staff member brought in her own tv for my aunt. There are three meals a day. My Aunt is in memory care unit and I am not present to see meal time. Staff reports that my aunt sometimes likes to eat in her room, I hear that they provide alternative meals on request.

The director and the staff really listen to what your needs are and work to accommodate you. Area for improvement in my opinion would be the food. The meals are nourishing, but could be more tasty.

We chose Wickshire Port St. Lucie because of the value for the money - based on her income she could afford it. It was vey clean and the people were friendly. The studio she has is perfect for her and what she needs. [name removed] who helped us in the beginning was quite helpful and very honest. They have been very helpful with her medications. She is not a fan of the food at all - she says the meals are too salty. They have had a meeting with the chef, but I am not sure if any changes have been made yet. Overall I would recommend Wicksire to others looking.

We've been very happy with this facility. All of our family says it's beautiful and that the staff is always glowing and friendly. The Sales and Marketing Manager that we've been working with has just been wonderful. The Business Office has been good, as well. We've had some issues with the Home Office as far as billing. For two months, they auto drafted more than they were supposed to for rent fees, which sent my loved one into somewhat of a panic. The first time, they refunded it to him. The second time, they credited it to his next month's rent. I think that's been resolved, I hope so! What stood out to us initially at this facility, was our tour/tour guide. She was very bubbly and truly seemed interested in hosting the tour and providing us with information. She was very genuine and was greeted by several residents during the tour who seemed to really enjoy her. They also accept VA Aid and Attendance here, which is very helpful for us! That has kicked in, but before it did they were great about working with us and our budget. My loved one has been very happy with the food. They also offer a good variety of activities and he enjoys them. Communication with the family has been good. Overall, I think we made a really good choice. It's been a great experience so far. I would, without a doubt, recommend them to family and friends.

While not perfect, I would still recommend it to other families. They're open to communication and have done what we needed them to do for our family member after we talked to them. Like most places, I think it's better to get there earlier on for assisted living vs. later on when you're too medially ill. But it's a place I would consider going myself. One thing I really like is that they make visiting easy. We're able to spend a lot of time with our family member, and I know that's not always the case at other places.

They really try to cater to my loved ones needs, with the food options. The food is very good. They do many things well, the only issue is with billing sometimes. They could be more responsive. Overall, my loved one is happy, and is treated well.

I toured The Pointe and the staff were great. We went to the memory care unit and they only had 2 people in there. One man was in the fetal position and the other lady was crying. They said she cried all the time and I just could not put my loved one there with that happening all the time. It was just not large enough, I wanted him to be around other people.

Things have been pretty good so far. Everybody seems very friendly, and they try to get our family member involved. She's safe and well looked after. Her big complaint is that the food is not served hot. I keep checking the weekly menu on the app for families, but they still have the menu from the beginning of August posted, so it's hard to keep track of whether what she's reporting to us is accurate or not. I would love to see that get updated. In looking for a place, everyone's needs/experiences are different. For our family, we've had a positive experience overall.

My mom has actually gotten better since moving in because of the structure there, and mentally she seems to be doing well with that. The staff do their best, and from what I can see, they don't have much turnover. So my mom knows everybody, which is nice. I think they keep the facility up very nicely. It looks very clean and nice. And the dining room is clean as well.

I have been trying for a couple of weeks to get some information. I have a questions about my loved ones care, it is not crucial, but it is something I would like to know and I have not heard back from them. But other than that, we do not have any complaints. She is doing very well - we feel that she is in a good, safe and clean place. The facility is smaller and that gives it a more home-like atmosphere. I would recommend to other families looking.

The activities are good and overall the value is really good. The staff are very friendly and nice towards our loved one and our family. However we do not really are for the quality of the meals and the plastic silverware.
