Cogir Senior Living

I moved into Cogir of Fremont almost five years ago after losing my wife and selling the family home of almost fifty years. Never regretted my decision. Resident participation in an excellent Activity Program here is just the best. Movies, music programs, exercise classes and games are available daily. Transportation to a doctor appointment or for local shopping as well as field trips for group dining, sightseeing or gambling at a casino is available. The residents are friendly and supportive of new arrivals with a couple of active and effective welcoming committees. Cogir is located in the heart of Fremont – close to BART, hospitals and health care facilities, shopping, banking, dining, Central Park and the Fremont Senior Center. We are served three delicious meals a day with at least two choices of entrees, plus a vegetarian dish, plus an everyday menu. The Chef and her staff are responsive to suggestions and are very friendly. Cogir is a great place for senior living.

The Windham community could be more transparent about how they arrive at added assisted living costs. Seems subjective and inconsistent. However based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families.

My 80 year-old mother-in-law tells me she's the happiest she's ever been since she moved into the Lofts last September. Well maintained and decorated, the Lofts has wonderful facilities including a large gym, theater, salon, swimming pool, restaurant and cafe, and multiple social rooms. My mother-in-law loves the many outings and educational opportunities available and has made so many friends at the Lofts. The staff is so friendly and caring. When we toured the Lofts, I was impressed by how the residents seemed happy, active and socialable. The atmosphere just feels happy and upbeat. There are monthly happy hour events with live music and fun festivites like Oktoberfest, Summer barbecue, New Year's Eve party ,Halloween, etc., all at no cost to residents. It's a great way for the residents to meet and mingle and enjoy each other's company. My husband and I are so thrilled that my mother-in-law is thriving, happy and active. Thank you Lofts at Cogir!

I have been living at Harvard Square off and on for about 2 years, I love living here. The staff and residents are friendly, helpful, and just good people. We are like a family. We keep up with each other and do what we can to help them. We have several activities. We go on senior drives once a week. Several go to a restaurant every week. We play several types of games. We have movies. We also have "Happy Hour" once a week week someone comes here to entertain us with music. This is a great place to live.

1.5 years ago I came to Harvard for due to an injury on my legs. I was treated very well & became friends with a lot of patients & all of the working staff. It is a very friendly place & atmosphere. I never looked for another place to live.

Staff is friendly, the food is enjoyable. Residents look happy.

When me and my family toured, staff & residents stopped and talked to you and made us feel very welcomed and they were very friendly.

When we toured everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming. Everywhere you saw there were residents together and seemed very happy.

Harvard Square felt like home when I walked in the door for a tour. Excited to come back.

The food is good and family gets invited. The Christmas dinner was Prim Rib & marsala chicken. My husband lives for food.

My brother recently started his stay at Glenwood but we couldn't be more happy about how it has gone after almost a month now. [name removed], the manager is outstanding, always available for questions and provide useful answers. The crew of administrators, nurses and caregivers could not be nicer and more understanding as they learn about my brother's needs and he get's more acclimated with them and his new home. Glenwood seems to have been a great choice for my brother and we are resting much easier knowing the kind of care he's getting. We had dinner with him on his birthday and the food is great too!

I am involved in the chaplaincy program & have been for seven years. I so appreciate the concern for the residents' spiritual welfare, as well as their physical & emotional well-being. I also participate in the exercise & Tai Chi classes 3 days a week, as well as conducting a gospel hymn sing-a-long every other month. Even though I do not have a family member living at Cedar Creek, several people from my years in Madera have moved in there & I am grateful for the opportunities I have to maintain those relationships, as well as for new friends I have made. To put it in a nutshell, I would have no problem moving my own mother there, should the need arise!

Excellent structure, fantastic cuisine, excellent activities, and the staff show great attention to residents' health care needs. The community and its activities are thoughtful and inclusive there is a movie theater inside the building with a new movie every night.

I am currently a resident at Holiday Gresham Manor. I am very happy here. The food is, for the most part, okay but not could use improvement. The office and service staff are courteous, pleasant, and helpful. I would recommend this facility to others.

Our parents have been living in this wonderful, caring senior home for the past year. My parents are really thankful to be living at this care home. My mother is very social and participates with all fun activities the care center has to offer. I am very grateful to the kind staff and people who work at Cogir StockRanch. Everyone is friendly and happy. The staff are caring to my parents and treated all residents as extra special. They know everyone by name. I feel at peace knowing my parents are safe and receiving excellent professional home care. We have recommended Cogir to other family friends.

My father is a resident. The staff always greets him and his family by name. They are kind and professional, and always engage with him when they see him. They are aware of his routines and check on him if they don't see him.

The staff is very friendly and caring, from the receptionist at the door to the Caregivers and MedTechs. [name removed], the chef really tries to make meals that everyone likes. The room is spacious and clean with good lighting. Memory Care has its own entrance which is very secure and safe. There is a small outdoor area. There are a lot of activities in the assisted living area which Memory Care residents can attend with a family member or care giver.

This is a very clean and well maintained facility. And equally important, it is a very safe place staffed with friendly and caring individuals. The food for all three meals are very nutritious and prepared by a professional and experienced chef.

The Senior living community is new to our family. It has been a really good experience during a trying time with such a big change for our mom. Everyone we have interacted here at Stock Ranch has gone above and beyond to be helpful and informative The residents have stopped in and introduced themselves and it is a very friendly community
