A loved one lived at EP for about 1.5 years. We had problems with [1] services not being provided as advertised (stated weekly trash removal; reality was housekeeper picked-up CERTAIN trash so my uncle had to take remaining trash to the dumpster); [2] I personally heard 5 different residents state they were refused a meal with staff telling them arriving 15 mins after start of meal was too late (rent covers price of 3 daily meals); [3] EP recycles one type of cardboard only, does not recycle ANY plastic, glass, metal, etc., & due to coronavirus pandemic EP is using styrofoam containers for 5 daily deliveries (3 meals, 2 snacks, 3-5 side dishes, 3-5 beverages); [4] EP's best feature is the wildlife drawn to its pond but EP staff tells residents & visitors not to feed them because they are trying to get rid of the wildlife (they are tired of cleaning behind them); [5] parking layout is horrible, needs a lot more spaces. We discussed these issues with General Manager [name removed] who listened, did not ask any questions, did not make us feel she cared about any of this. Other managers [[name removed] & another lady] just nodded at us, smiled, and walked away.

The sales person was very nice, the food was good. However, the living space was VERY small. The area was a distance from community activities.

Don’t be fooled the price they give you is just a stating point. If you want a shower that is extra. If you want your laundry done that too is extra. If you want your pills given to you that is extra too. If you want more than on shower a week that too is extra. The food sucks. That’s why so many residence eat in there room. If you like smacking you’ll love the court yard. Take a deep breath.

Over the phone sales staff was very pushy, scheduled walk through for following week. Staff did not show for scheduled appointment. Site manager did provide a tour, but it’s obviously not her forte. Facility is 25yo and extremely out dated and need a lot of updating.

Community was pleasant enough, but a little dark and gloomy for my taste.

I really think it a mistake that such a large percent of our money is spent on recruiting new residents and providing meeting facilities for nonresidents. It also bothers lots of us that alcoholic drinks are available at what seems to be an unlimited amount. Multiple times a week alcohol is free. The food quality is poor and people with special needs do not get them met. Staff administrating medicine seem to have minimal training,

In the year since my family member moved here, it's really gone downhill. Not only is the staff turnover inordinately high, the entire management team has gone! The food seems to be getting worse by the month. It's already expensive for what you get, and now they're increasing the rent by over 5%. I think they figure that they've got a captive audience--once you move here, you won't be able to leave. Horrible way to run a business--but that's just what it is, a business which is beholden to their shareholders--NOT their residents.

Really an assisted living facility with a beautiful view over a park and Kennedy Golf course. Only 24 units for independent living and every resident must take 3-meal plan. Also, all temperature controls for resident apartments are controlled by the management. It was very warm during tour but air conditioning was not going to be turned on until Mother's Day?

Not impressed with the facility. It looks like a hallway out of the Shinning. Companion rooms are just one big room with a standing closet separating it. They don't allow locks on rooms and their policy is to lock up make-up. Hard Pass.

I toured Sunrise while looking for a place for my loved one and myself. I thought that the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the place itself was dreary and drab-looking to me, and not spacious at all. I also did not like that they did not have all levels of care here. I wanted us to be able to stay in the same place as my loved one's needs increase, and that was not possible here.

I toured Cedar Village while looking for living options for my mother, and I really didn’t like it. The assisted living was not anything special, and I felt as though memory care was an after though. I wasn’t impressed, and I just didn’t feel as though my mother would get the best possible care there.

My tour here went well but I did notice that the residents were not interacting much with one another and my wife needs that interaction with people and activities. The courtyard also faced a street. I did not have a good feeling about this community at all.

The place is so unorganized nothing seems to be in order. New people come in the front door – do not come back the next day - at the most ½ shift, then left to be on their own people cannot learn well that way of teaching regardless how good the “teacher” in at his/her job.

This place has been going downhill for quite awhile. The best caregivers and nurses have been leaving for a long time. Inexperienced and uneducated (to the needs of elders) remain. Even they are leaving. There are still a few very caring people left and they are spread thinly. Even the last administrator left abruptly and her absence has left a void. The person who replaced her is interested in only one thing ... money. This place is not equipped to care for elderly who need more attention. If the resident stops eating, so be it. If the resident is soiled, we'll get to it later. They provide very little or no mental stimulation; the entertainment has been lessened; the people in memory care rarely leave the locked up ward. They don't even have TV in the common room of memory care. The same DVDs are played over and over. These poor people are just left to stare at the walls or stay in their beds. Rarely talked to. Medications are used too often to put these people into a quasi-zombie state. If you love your Mother or Father or Grandparent or other friend or family member, do not put them in Marymount GreenHills. They will quickly go downhill. Perhaps the people who do not have many needs will do better here. They might make friends with other residents and there is a large dining room where they can be with other people. The menu needs improving. The quality of food needs improving. There ARE many kind people who work here. But they don't seem to be treated well by management lately either.

All inclusive pricing except for incontinence products. $6950 private room; $5150 shared room; incontinence products & care $[removed]/m; skilled nursing facility close by Broadway Villa; hospital nearby. Has hospice facilities up to 12 people. 4-5% annual price increase

I have lived here since July 2009 and I view and review of the changes over these years and these past few months – almost a year – things have been going downhill – every way expect for the wonderful care givers who are so faithful and med aide – all over worked. I get very discouraged at times.

My mom was not really adjusting well to this community. The staff was not of any assistance. My mom had a horrible time here. The community was nice, but the people could have been better at watching over the residents.
