They sold 2 weeks after she moved in which caused a bunch of changes and it turned out not to be a good fit. Communication was a problem, I ended up having to work with the director with our issues. We had a medication mishap right when we moved in. They failed to check on her as often as she needed to be which was every 2 hours. Her room ended up flooding and she had to move out and that caused a lot of problems in itself. It was not the best experience for us at the time, but it may be the right fit for someone else depending on their situation and with changes that are being implemented with the new director.

I have lived here a long time. I like the people here. However we need food cooked better. Also we need house keepers. Recently, there has not been house cleaning in some rooms.

There is frequent turnover of management. Consequently I don't think there was good supervision of the nursing staff. The management we experienced was friendly. After you were there a while, the help was a little more friendly than they were at the beginning. The only really good thing here was the activities. The girl who did the activities worked really hard.

The community can really work to improve on the dining hall meals, the food right now is sub par.

Enjoy most the meals. Management is so good. Bus service is a great help.

We do know they are short staffed but they claim when a resident hits the call button given to them, it will take around 15 minutes for someone to respond but that isn't true it is more like around 45 minutes.

dont give housekeeping enough time to do a good job and clean our rooms. The outside grounds are not cared for very well. We have an excellent chef, meals have improved 100%

Our family had an in person tour and Cadence at Clemmons seemed more like a nursing home, it was not that clean and had stains no the carpet. Also we did not really care or the layout, it felt much smaller and once you were out of your room there wasn't much space to walk around.

I have lived here for 8 years. It has changed a lot. Has more assisted living people now.

Nice place to live, but really needs a 'live in' manager or some kind of security. For People who have no means of having an income rent is way to high

It is an apartment house. If you're coming for anything other than an apartment, you're not going to get it. The staff has had a lot of turnover, but the people that they do have there are the only thing I can say positive about it. They're run by a large corporation, and the staff cannot do anything other than what the corporation dictates. My friend's unit hasn't been cleaned in three weeks. It's supposed to get cleaned once a week. The windows in their unit are completely fogged up, and they have done nothing to fix them. The food is absolutely atrocious. You would not feed it to an animal, and everybody has complained about it. They hired a new chef, and things were better for a while. But as soon as she left, it went back to the way that it was before - terrible. And the portions that they serve are not enough to feed a man. A woman can get by on it, but a man can't.

I haven't been here that long, but it's been great so far. The people are friendly. I like my apartment. It's a 1-bedroomn with a nice size bathroom, and there's room for my kitchen table and chairs. There's a little dollar convenience store on site in the community, and they seem to follow through with all of the activities they offer. They're also a pet friendly community.

We were not impressed with Madrona Hills. It looked drab, and dirty in some regards. The location was bad, on a hillside. And we would have preferred a park-like setting.

The activities just started to open back up, but we do have one bit of feedback. The community is pretty old school they do not have a lot and families can't go online to view their meals or activities. Everything is still on paper, which we would like to be able to see things online so we can encourage our loved one to be more interactive.

We do think the care services are getting better, in the beginning our loved ones medication was lost for a couple of days, but they were found and we do think they are improving on the services. Our loved one does say they are short staffed, which is pretty much everywhere now so sometimes it does take the staff a little longer to respond to her calls. Our loved one does say the meals are pretty good, and she really enjoys bingo. They also have movie nights and exercise classes going on.

Older building (30) years, clean, appears well maintained. Parking lot full. Clients 80, capacity 92 apartments. Staff friendly, the few clients encountered were not outgoing. Move in fee and 3 month commitment with premiums offered as sales incentive.

Summit Glen wasn't even comparable to where we ended up. The staff wasn’t as friendly. It was very dark in there. There wasn’t a lot of light, it wasn’t as open, and it was older. It wasn’t as inviting. I also thought it was in a bizarre location, kind of tucked away in a residential area with single family homes.

My mom was here 2 years and not once did administration reach out to me or any other family member to check in on my mom to see how she was doing since moving in or how they could make the stay better.

we toured this community and it was very nice. our issue is that we asked to see the memory care unit and they would not allow us to and provided no explanation why. It was also higher priced than other communities in our area.
