They are very kind and courteous but follow-up frequently since they may often be overwhelmed with daily functions. The food isn't my mom's favorite. She often thinks it's lacking a lot of flavor and seasoning.

Sales Manager [name removed] is amazing. She reflects the general vibe of the entire place. Residents are happy and have great relationships with the staff. [name removed] advised that the focus of Bellingham at Orchard is that each resident is given a purpose. So, they are keen on knowing about your family member so they can gear activities to their interests. There are only about 60 residents which is I personally think is great because the staff get to know the residents well. The whole place has a lovely outdoor courtyard. [name removed] organizes a monthly support group for family members. My mom has a private room with her own bed from home and a bit of furniture and her pictures, plus a bird feeder. And it's pet friendly. [name removed]organizes a monthly petting zoo (Animals for therapy) event. Our family has our providers through Family Care Network. FYI- FCN has in home care available for residents at Orchard. My mom's condition is moving quickly so she's already being referred to hospice, and she can get that service at Bellingham at Orchard. This is all new for me and I do have to say only drawback, but from what I understand is typical, is that items from rooms go missing or go walk about. Meaning other residents come by and pick up items and wander around with them. So, that was a bit disconcerting for me, but from what I understand that's not unusual in a memory care facility. You need to take pictures of the items you bring to the facility and give that inventory to Bellingham at Orchard. Plus, you must label everything so it can be returned to the proper room.

Staff could answer the phone more quickly or have a second person answer the phone. Too much carbohydrates and filler foods. Need more beverage options

The staff is very friendly and considerate. There are lots of activities. The landscaping is pretty. The food is mediocre.

All good. The help I received finding a place for my brother in his price range and the needs was excellent. I can't think of anything bad. Since I have not been there it is difficult to say however I believe they have been good to my brother. He has not complained and believe me when I say that is unusual. I do know they were very helpful in the process and kept me informed. Good service.

They need glass cups in dining room, not plastic or Styrofoam. Staff is great, mom is happy:)

Truthfully thinking I wouldn't be able to recommend much. But we have very limited exposure since Mom never used any services. All she has done for the past year is lay in her bed 24/7 watching tv except for using the restroom. All she's eaten is Boost high calorie shakes that we provided.

Yes, we actually have recommend Solista Charlotte by Cogir to a couple friends. One even moved in

What we like the most about the community is the location, the view, the staff and the smaller population. They could improve on the food for special needs. However, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience

It was close to my work and her home. It was a smaller facility, and only a year old. The food was really good too, when they invited us to a free lunch. Still really happy with our decision. The new administration hasn't been very responsive to some concerns we've had about changes in the POC.

Solista is a fairly large building and the individual units are comparatively large. Everything is kept clean, maintained and pleasant. Food is tasty but the food served doesn't always match what is on the published menus. They run out of specific items much too often. The food is hot and for me that is a biggie. I don't k ow the reason but server staff has significant turn-over but the chefs have had no turn-over in 6 months and in fact have added one chef.

I would say that the staff are so caring - they truly care about the residents.

My uncle really likes the facility and so we his family. The staff is very friendly and attentive to my uncle's needs. They are in constant communication with me if they there is a need. As far as improvement maybe a monthly or quarterly check in on how he is doing such as activities. Just a thought.

4 or 5 for the overall experience, my mother was only there for 4 months before she had to move to memory care. In my brief experience as a non-resident simply visiting from time to time, I thought it was very well run and the staff was excellent. My mom did have a little trouble adjusting to the frequent visits by different caregivers. I don't know if they were all the same ones or if they were all different and she had trouble attaching to anyone. That would be my suggestion but then I can't say very clearly from her perspective since she has cognitive loss. Not sure I can answer anything else besides that.

The complex just changed owners a few months ago and we now have new management. So things are changing, hopefully for the better. We also have a new handyman so we hope that things can be done in a timely fashion. The rules on pets are changing and large dogs will not be accepted. At least that's how we understand the new rules. When an apartment is vacated it is completely renovated before being rented again. New floors, cabinets, window coverings.....everything. So it is brand new.

The staff and residents are all very friendly.

For me, a big plus is location. It is just a few level blocks to several grocery stores, RiteAid, Staples, Good Will and other stores. It's a nice walk. And there's a 24-hour convenience store across the street. Activities are hard due to widely varying abilities and interests people have. Several of us have been discussing some ideas with management for getting out into area, learning more about history and natural history.

The van service is only 2 1/2 days a week which can result in long waits.
