After hanging up the phone with \\A Place for Mom (Jody was soooo helpful!), Gina from Emerald Pond contacted me right away! I was so happy since it was late at night and we had ONE day to find a place for Wade. Due to our schedule of having to leave for a pre-scheduled vacation, Gina was so very helpful in allowing Wade to use the \\Guest Suite\\ until his studio apt. would be ready. She was AMAZING at coordinating everything for Wade according to OUR schedule. When I visited the place to move him in on Friday, I finally met our \\angel\\ Gina, and the activities director, Bonnie. What a great group of staff you have at Emerald Pond! Everyone treats the seniors as an individual (I know it makes Wade very happy). We could not have picked a better place for my father-in-law - he is so happy and everyone there is so wonderful. It obviously takes a special person to work with this population. Emerald Pond could not have hired any better! Thank you so much!

Overall our experience has been very good. We were very impressed by the staff when we did the site visit and my mom had a really positive experience, which is why we chose it. The only negative is that there was some confusion about the deals they offered us to get them to move there and what accommodations they were going to make prior to her move. The details were not communicated very well, so we had some issues getting the things that were promised. We will get it all sorted out, no doubt about that, but this has been a small challenge.

Really good with activities and food is a good healthy variety. I do wish they would help mom with their showers more, and they do seem a little short staffed which impacts my rating of the care services and friendliness, but mom is happy and overall I am very satisfied.

Very professional and sharp, reminds me of going to a Marriott hotel where everyone is very well trained, outgoing and personable. When my mom slipped and cut her eye, they were right there and took care of her.

My loved one was only here a short time, but overall I thought they did an excellent job at Oak Park. The staff were very friendly, and they fell all over themselves trying to make sure that Mom was comfortable and settled in. The facility itself looked very nice, and it seemed like they do an excellent job looking after the residents. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking into care in the area.

We moved my Mom here almost 2 months ago from a Sunrise Memory Care. I toured 8 facilities before choosing Empire. We are so much happier here and so is my Mom. By doing Memory care only, and having 60 residents, they really have the expertise and critical mass to do a better job. The facility is bright with lots of windows and space to walk inside and outside. My Mom is taking less meds, is healthier, happier. I am not getting called all the time, and it's much less expensive than Sunrise was. We wish we had moved her here sooner.

The thing that I like the most about it, is that they seem to really care about my mom, and to be concerned about their welfare. If my mother has a problem, they immediately take care of it. My mother is typically hard to please, but she is very, very happy here. The only thing that could have used improving is that they were having trouble with some of the meals not being up to par, but they got a new cook, and he's doing a great job. They provide her with van service to go to doctors and shopping. They are doing a great job.

The director, Terry, is very nice and very helpful. My uncle likes the food there. I've sampled the food, and it was good. The diningroom is very clean. The nurses are very nice, and very helpful. They provide transportation to the doctor. They administer his medications properly They clean the rooms. They will deliver meals to his room when he wants it. There are a lot of activities there, but my uncle doesn't really participate in them.

It's been terrific! They have been absolutely wonderful. They took great care of my dad when he was here. And they are doing a great job with my mom now. The activities are great. The food is very good too. It's clean, and the staff is very friendly. I don't have any complaints about them at all. They have been great.

I would give the Facility 5 stars in all of these areas. cleanliness, friendliness, caring staff, ample activities for residents. Would recommend to others.

Very nice! Felt very welcome and was invited for lunch. The food was excellent and the service wonderful. We saw the studio which was very nice and offered plenty of space for mom.

This is a lovely place, and the people go out of their way to make sure residents needs are met. My mother moved here sep 12, and we are very pleased so far.

I was satisfied with their service. If we had any needs, they were more than happy to take care of them. We had a little issue with my loved one not knowing or wanting to ring the bell when he needed help, and they addressed that right away and took care of it. They did a good job.

For what they offer they, have been doing a very good job. It's pretty clean, and the staff is very, very friendly. We have had a few issues with response to maintenance concerns. My loved one doesn't participate in activities, so I can't really comment on those, I would say not applicable. The food has been excellent. I can't think of anything that needs to be done differently. It is an independent place so we do have our own caregivers to come in.

My experience with Andara has been good. My loved one is happy, so I'm happy.

My 96 year old father was living in another local retirement community. When it came time to renew the lease the price of his apartment was going up dramatically, so I decided to compare where he was living to other facilities. I found Andara (Arte at the time) and it was a much more affordable community. While it was price that motivated me to move him at a very healthy 93, it is so obvious now that we did the right thing. First, Andara is a smaller more intimate community. The whole staff is very attentive to my father's needs and treat him with dignity and respect. When I am not in Scottsdale, I can rely on Mary, Executive Director, to give me a call if she or one of the staff become concerned about my dad. I am then able to address the situation. It has given me peace of mind. There is also a new quality care program available through ComForcare with qualified people to assist in many different ways. I have chosen the GoodMorning/Good Evening service where they check in on dad twice a day/7 days, and so far he is very pleased. You pay by the visit( and you decide how many per week), not the hour. Dad doesn't want or need someone in his room for a whole hour so this has been well worth it. Secondly, the food is excellent! Chef John and his staff prepare meals with fresh ingredients and no repetitive, frozen "institutionalized" types of foods are served. Our family often joins dad for Sunday brunch and we have even opted to enjoy Easter brunch there instead of going out each year. Dad always say there is plenty of variety. Thirdly, the activities are numerous. Dad enjoys the nightly movie in the theater and the puzzle room, but there is so much more to do. Being Catholic, he also appreciates receiving communion at Andara on Weds. when local church people visit and having his blood pressure taken at the wellness clinic. Transportation is readily available and dad gets a ride to church every Sunday. Our family is more than delighted with the move to Andara, but it is my dad whose opinion matters most and he enjoys living there.

I'm very satisfied with the services at Emeritus at Citrus Heights. Most importantly, my loved one is happy there. I'm pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the care they provide, cleanliness of the facility, and overall services.

I live in Las Vegas, NV and my mom is in Battle Ground, WA. Trying to get her into an assisted living facility seemed to be an overwhelming task. Oct. 2013 I was given the contact info for Nadia at Mallard Landing. She has been so helpful, patient, and informative that I'm truly impressed. My mom moved into Mallard Landing 9/5/2014. Nadia continues to be so helpful that I no loner fear this transition, but delight in the fact she is in caring, capable hands.

Everything is exceptional at Cortona Park. My mom is very happy, and I am pleased with the care they provide, cleanliness of the facility, friendliness of the staff, activity options, and services they provide.

We're very pleased with how things have gone at Emerald Pond! It's a nice looking, well kept, clean facility, and the staff have all been very friendly! And the care they provide is excellent, they've got an in-house CNA group that has really made things easier for us. After being here only a few days Mom's mood has really improved, and she wondered why she hadn't considered a place like this before!
