My father moved in here a few weeks ago after struggling for years to maintain a home and all the worries associated with it. After a period of adjustment, he loves it here. Staff is very caring and they are always checking to make sure everything is ok. He is looking forward to having a fur buddy join him in the near future. Great place.

I got to look at this community, I think it is very nice looking. The staff were very forth coming and accommodating. The residents seem to connect with the staff. My mom got to try a complementary meal and she liked the food.

I met with a tour guide who showed all around the community. Even though there are lots of stairs, I saw a few elevators. The place seemed to be very clean and maintained. The staff were very accommodating to us. I really liked the modern style and it looked quite nice everywhere! Kim from A Place From Mom was great help.

My mother is doing very well, and I'am very pleased with everything they have done for us. The facility is nice and clean, they a good job with the cleanliness. They have a pretty good staff here. She is trying some activities. The meals are nice, she likes the food. I know she is in good hands and I would recommend this facility.

spoke with Catherine this is a month to month. This facility wasa a Merrill Gardens. Brookdale bought them two years ago (1100 total properties). Northwest craftsmen acrhitecture. 1 bd $3885 up to $4435 for larger w/private balcony, full kitchen 750 sf; 3 meals on assisted living, 2 meals with independent living; care level pricing ala carte (only charged for what using); they don't provide skilled nursing

Our experiences with this community were very good. They did a very good job caring for my mother and her needs. I was very comfortable with the type of care they provided my mother with. We couldn't had asked for a better community. Everything at this community is great.This is a really nice community.

This community has plenty to do. I especially like the variety of fitness class and a pool to enjoy all day. The staff are so welcoming and I was impressed with how quickly they acknowledge me by name. I love my room the most because it has enough natural light. The food is very healthy and tasty, it is all prepared fresh and almost perfect. The community is always clean and i would recommend this community.

My dad was only at this community for about a month before he passed away. The staff went out of their way to make sure he had things he liked. I liked the food however he did not want anything to eat. He was with hospice the whole time he was there and between them and the community he passed away with dignity. I would recommend this community.

Mom was only at Andara for 3 weeks before she was well enough to return home. The staff there were attentive to her. I did not get a chance to try the food but mom did not seem to like it. She did not participate in any of the activities offered there. The only small issue I have is with the billing department.

The only concern I have is the seating in the dining room. If you don.t have 4 people, you have to wait until another 3 singles come along.

My mom is settling in nicely at Brookdale Mill Creek. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is good and they have an excellent food program. They offer activities however she does not yet participate in any. The community is clean and well maintained.

My mother is doing very well at this community, she seems to have adjusted well to it. She will be moving into another community, that is closer to where she used to live. Our experiences with this community were great. Everyone was kind and friendly. The community looks great, they do a very good job of keeping everything clean. The staff is good, they are friendly and helpful. She did try some art classes and another activities. The food is really great. Overall it is a good community and I would recommend it.

We would recommend this community. Mom is pretty happy since making the move to independent living at Sunridge. The staff are very pleasant and are great at checking in on her. The meals are pretty good and they have a good variety to choose from. She goes to the beauty salon there once a week and they offer transportation as well.

I would recommend this community to family and friends. The staff works well with my mom and are very friendly. The community is clean and well maintained inside and out. I have tried the food and it is good. Although my mom does not participate in any activities there are plenty of them for the residents to enjoy.

From the minute we walked in, it felt like home! Everyone was so kind and helpful. Mom is part of a family there, she is 93yrs old, and they really watch out for her well being. Every staff member goes the extra mile to please mom. It is so nice for my husband and me to have peace of mind. Thank you so much.

Moving my mom into Ocean Ridge was the right move for us. Since being there she has improved quite a bit. I have not tried the food but it seems to be good and there are a lot of options to choose from. The staff are very attentive and friendly with the residents and their families. They offer a lot of activities and I would definitely recommend this community.

With the help of "A Place for Mom" I was introduced to the Fountains at Washington House in Alexandria, VA. My Mom moved in to this wonderful facility in mid-March and she couldn't be happier. Washington House has a diverse and significant number of accessible activities for its' residents. There is always something going on for anyone who wishes to participate. Various special events occur frequently. The staff and care givers are attentive and welcoming. And the food and beverage offerings provide well loved dishes for everyone. We were surprised to learn twice, that corporate had increased pricing in the short time we were in the market. Corporate did honor some, not all, of the pricing offered at the beginning of our deliberations.

This community has worked out very well for my wife. They are caring for her very well. The community looks great, they are always cleaning. The food and activities are amazing. I have no completes about this community. Everything is going very well and I would recommend it.
