The facility is excellent. Mom is very happy there. I would recommend to others. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to other places I visited or spoke with.

The memory care home having a 1 yr spend down is fabulous for elders & families that weren't able to afford 2-3 yr spend down for Medicaid. The staff there is incredible and never would've been able to get my mom into a support home so seamlessly & quickly without them

As for care services, because of the administration I would give it a 0 and tell people to stay away. They lied to us several times and did not fulfill the promises we had in our contract. That is why we left without giving them the month's notice they required and told them we would see them in court if they tried to collect any of the money the stated we owed them. After a pre-signing interview and physicals of my parents . We were told and have in the contract that they were able to care for my Mothers colonoscopy bag. The day AFTER my parents moved in the administration informed us they would NOT take care of the colonoscopy bag. This was a big deal and we had spoken often about this medical care. I contacted home medical companies and hired one of them to come in 2 times a week to change the base and my 94 yr old father changed the bag 2times a day. We started looking for another place for my parents. My father got an infection and died - I live out of state and had to spend much time and many trips to California in order to move them again. The entire experience was horrible. One lie after another about what medical care they could receive while living in Cogir. We have talked about taking them to court for the non keeping of their end of the contract. I would never recommend Cogir to anyone Also 5 gets a negative number - the non- nurse told us she was an RN. The head administrator was difficult to work with and was rarely available while we were trying to move them and give them the care they needed. As for value for our money. They informed us that they would not take my mother to her husband's funeral the day of the funeral - we had made arrangements for the para transport within Cogir for my mother for the funeral 4 days earlier. Then when it came to pay the next month rent it jumped from [removed] a month for both of my parents to [removed] a month for just my mother.

I toured the Solista Milwaukie Senior Loving with the wonderful guide, Mallory, and ended up signing that day! The food was delicious and the rooms are light filled. The community was very friendly. They have raised beds for growing veggies and flowers, free laundry facilities and a lovely grounds area. They are also pet friendly so my dog is welcome. I met the manager, Jon, as well and all said I give it a 4 out of 4. I am moving in soon and I can’t wait. I have lost housing with a relative and was so worried and now I am just so happy to be moving!

The communication and quality of care could use improvements.

They have been amazing with our mom. I absolutely would recommend- just wish my mother could enjoy the property more- great activities, food is good and people really care. I have met several other residents who also seem pleased. A family member is there every day yet mom has not been able to leave her apartment due to sight and heating challenges.

Excellent service and follow up. ! Beautiful facility and caring staff. If I had not lost my brother to illness he would have enjoyed living there. We chose them because of the price and location. They were professional and friendly

All 5. This is the best place ever. My brother loves it at cadence. I feel comfortable with him there. I like the activities they have for the assisted living and memory care residents. They have outings and games. Veteran meetings and more.

Facility was clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. They gave me all the information I needed. I got to see a studio apartment and a one bedroom. I also learned there was a room available fort short term period. So thanks fort the tour and being available on the date I requested.

I have lived here for 1 1/2 years and enjoy the activities outdoors walking meals preparation. (all classes we addressed and care service.

They should get their loved one evaluated to learn if they are good for Active Senior Living or for Assisted Living. Solista is better for Active Living even with aides.

What we like the most about the community is the friendliness and always asking how they can do better. Yes, we would recommend Cadence at Huntersville to other families based on the experience so far.

I recently toured with my dad and the facility is immaculate. The staff is very friendly and the property is kept up well. The tour with [name removed]was great and the information she provided was very informative and she was very professional! I love the fact that resident must alert staff each morning. What a great feature! I’m hoping my dad decides to stay at this place. Keep up the great work in making the seniors feel special and comfortable similar to how their family would. Thank for allowing us to visit your Lovely facility!

Luved it! A great place for a senior family member at an exceptional value. I''m only 65 but would love to move in... but that would require moving to phx which i will never do. Check them out but expect them to be full and you will need to be put on a waiting list. It is worth it bigtime!

Cogir consists of a dynamic team of dedicated, professional, trained, and...most importantly, loving and kind human beings. My review is based upon my past experiences trying to find a facility that would provide all of the above. After having 2 failures that led to the emergency room, in desperation, I found Cogir. As a past Ombudsman working with my parents, I knew the basics of care giving. What I typically found missing was the element of human kindness and respect for others. I tell myself that I was lucky finding Cogir. Desperate to remove my life-long partner from the emergency room, I chose Cogir because it is ONLY MEMORY CARE. That means understanding how the damaged brain is functioning and knowing the "back door" to relate and be understood while working with your loved one. As P.O.A., I am always kept in the loop. I make unannounced visits and am never disappointed with what I see. Cogir has created a remarkable team.

They have very caring staff, fun activities, and even my picky eater mom liked the food! The apartment is very large compared to other comparably priced places here in Wilmington.

My friends told me about Cogir of Potomac and they visited places for me while I was in rehab. I was previously living alone in an apartment in DC. This is the best decision that was ever made on my behalf. This community is not only gorgeous, but the people here are what make it a home. I want to stay here forever and I appreciate the support that is provided to me by every single person from the driver to the dining team to the wonder care staff. I couldn't have asked for a better place to live.

Our experience rates a 5. They have an awesome staff who truly care about their residents. Everyone there already knows who we are when we come into the facility. I would definitely recommend Cogir to others.
