Cogir Senior Living

My mother recently moved into Edmonds Landing about a month ago. The whole process of touring, discussing options, moving and getting settled in has gone as smooth as it could - and that is in large part due to [name removed] and the rest of the staff there. The first month can be a bumpy ride, but the care they have each shown my mother and us has made all the difference. My mom is now integrating with other residents, trying new things (yoga!) and she’s starting to feel more at home. You can’t beat the location, with it being so close to restaurants, shops, ferry terminal, senior center, etc - Edmonds is so charming and still has that small town feeling that feels like a community. Edmonds Landing aims to adapt to your parents’ needs, in care, activities and food options. The wonderful there definitely makes the effort to make sure you and your family feel supported and with how heavy this type of transition can be for the whole family, that support is so appreciated.

I really enjoy the community here. Even after selling my car and house, I’ve found a wonderful home. My daughter and son-in-law visit often and even join in our activities—especially happy hour! The breakfast team knows exactly what I like each morning and treats me so kindly. I love the activities, both here and out in the community when the weather is nice. I definitely recommend it.

I like it here. I am very happy here. I love my apartment and the people are nice. Everyone comments how cozy it is. I moved in [date removed] and moved apartments once within the community when a more desirable layout came available. I love our happy hours and being social. I enjoy doing puzzles and being the unofficial greeter.

I really enjoy the community here. In fact, I like it so much that my daughter and I referred someone who is now a new resident. I previously lived in an assisted living community in Michigan for four years, but moved here to be closer to my daughter — and I have no regrets. Everything has been very nice. I did have one small issue recently with some laundry being misplaced, but the team is actively working to locate it.

After several recovery stays, I chose to make this my home at 90—and it’s been wonderful. The food is delicious, everything is kept spotless, and I love my daily walks both inside and around our beautiful community. The staff are friendly, my family is close by, and life here is truly easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I have independence here. It is fabulous to have this community to call home! The other residents have become my friends. So many of the staff are friendly, easy to talk to and very helpful for just about anything. I am telling so many of my friends who I want to live here with me. The next time you think of Senior Living, think of coming to my new community. You won't regret it.

The meals here are terrific- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It makes me happy that I can have my cat with me in my apartment. My cat is family to me. The dining staff are polite and smiling and I'm impressed with the meals. The cleanliness of the community is something I appreciate. Its nice to not have to clean anymore. Its a great place. It was hard leaving my home, but this is my new home.There are lots of places to read, which I enjoy doing.

I just needed treated my the nurse because I injured my elbow. The care team takes really good care of me when I need it. I want the food to get a little better. I love the burgers though. From time to time I get to enjoy the activities that are offered. They keep it clean here.

I love it here at Cogir.I have a motorized scooter that works well in the elevators, and I can get everywhere from the dining, to the activity center, to my apartment. I can go on the bus with the hydraulic lifts. The food is great! I made good friends here.

My mother is in assisted living program. I visit daily. Staff is attentive and clearly concerned about her welfare. Wellness checks are frequent. They often seek me out to inform me when they notice she has issues such as a minor cough or complained of a source of discomfort.

All 5's. Very happy just wish there were some people my age (73) Very nice, friendly facility. The place shuts down by 7:00pm. Food is better than I expected. Apartment are plenty big. Nice big storage closet. I brought a lot of stuff I don't need

If the scale is 1 to 5, then I think we can say it's all fives. My sister and I were both very impressed with the facility when we visited, we felt it would be good for [removed name], and she seems to feel the same. She, [removed name], will need additional care as time passes, given that her condition is degenerative. For now, however, she really seems to have what she needs. Our experience with the staff has been very positive. [removed name] has said that her interactions with the staff have been really good. She seems to feel as comfortable with her care as we could hope. Same too with the food. One of the reasons my sister and I liked the place when we first visited was that it seemed clear that a real effort was being made to provide good food. We (my wife, our three young daughters, and I) visited for Thanksgiving, and we were all very happy with the meal, the atmosphere, the staff, everything. So the cuisine is certainly far better than the ordinary cafeteria-style food that we ate in high school, for instance.

I love being at Cogir of Queen Anne because I feel like I matter. I've made so many friends since I've been here. I feel safe here. In another community I felt unsafe- not here. I enjoy the dining room where I like the food and visit with the people, it's great! I have an amazing apartment wherevI can relax when I'm not out having fun.I like the staff here- kind to me and so helpful. They go the extra distance when I need them. The food is healthy with lots of choices. I love the neighborhood. It is so beautiful and I love walking it with my friends.

I love being here because it is geared towards accommodation of the needs that I have. The bathroom is designed for mobility issues like me and I like the apartment. The staff is open to feedback and suggestions. The food is hearty, wholesome and delicious. I loves stews, jello and custard. I'm so glad I came to Cogir of Queen Anne rather than an [removed]. [name removed] launders my t-shirts and towels well.

I love driving in the bus and going on any of the activities. The friendly staff are so helpful when I have questions or need things. I like my apartment spot. I can keep eating food at Cogir of Queen Anne as it is good, with dessert too. It always tastes good and it looks good when it arrives at my table.

I find that living at Cogir a fruitful and rewarding experience. Living here has helped me develop quality, beautiful relationships. I came here just after my wife passed away. Being here has helped me grieve. The people here, both residents and staff allowed me to relax and live life. I am now living life to the fullest. The activities are amazing. The dining is wonderful. The working staff know me by name and I know I belong here. Incredible work is put in to keep the community and my apartment clean.

I've made so many friends here and so many of them experience life and philosophy similar to me. I don't feel alone. I eat great here and it is nutritious. I absolutely enjoy my apartment. It has a great layout, it is so convenient. I work on my physicality every day. This place helps me with my independence. The care staff are great and so helpful. I love it here! I am so thankful!

I've lived here for 3 wonderful years. I like a lot of the people who are here and have made great friends. I love the neighborhood, especially the coffee shop around the corner. I think the activities are great.

I used to live on the other side of Queen [name removed] and so was very familiar with the neighborhood. I find the area to be very walkable and easy access to many entertainment options. It's a great place to live. I was particularly happy that there is a decent sized male population and also that it is a pet friendly community. I love animals and even though I don't have one of my own, I get to love on everyone else's dog.

My experience has been good. I am on care services. I find the staff overall very nice, helpful and pleasant. No complaints. I don't really participate in activities so can't speak to that, but I really enjoy my apartment.
