Cogir Senior Living

I was burned out of Paradise, CA. This is my new home. I feel safe and cared for in Carson Plaza.

I loved living at the plaza.

Overall the assisted living is expensive, however the care they have given our loved one is tremendous, they have been very good. The friendliness of the staff members and cleanliness of the community really stood out to us, as well as the leadership and management team. They are very engaging and always make sure everything is going well. Our loved one is currently in a rehab facility and the Acoya team always calls us with updates on what is going on, and they even took a care package over to her and stood outside her window with a sign that said they love and miss her. They really do treat the residents like family. She has a one bedroom at Acoya and it is clean and well equipped for all types of care. It is always very roomy. This community offers a variety of food options, and the chef will customize and do what she needs to do to make sure they have good food to eat. She has also been very open to feedback.

Clean, spacious, I like the open feel to the hallways and the 3 story atrium. The residents I met were nice and the staff very helpful. 3 meals per day, housekeeping, and bus. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the visit.

Orchard Park is a very friendly community for independent seniors. I appreciate the safety and security of Orchard Park. We have a wonderful staff who are friendly, always have a smile, and always willing to help. We have a top-notch chef who along with his staff prepares a large variety of delicious meals to select from. Our Recreation Director is always coming up with new and challenging ideas for arts and crafts, games, exercise, program entertainment, and any other activities. Before the pandemic, we had group meet to play cards, wonder on puzzles, gardening, baking, and just have good conversations and lots of fun. Come check us out.

I have only lived at Orchard Park these past 3 months June, July, and August. Even with this virus problem the staff and residents have shown a lot of camaraderie and friendliness to make me welcome. I had a couple of family issues and the staff helped me through them with smiling faces.

This is the second time I've lived here, after moving out of state and then retiring to Nevada. This is home!

We just moved my 93 year old dad to Cogir based on the information we got from APFM. Cogir made it very easy to move dad and assured him he can keep his cat which is why we had to move him from the previous retirement community. He is so very happy which makes me happy! His new apartment is very affordable and with the addition of the assisted living I am confident that he is receiving excellent care. It is light and bright and includes a view of the Space Needle!! Everyone has been extremely friendly and all of the staff I have interacted with all know who my dad is even after a few days there. I am pleased to see the Corona virus precautions they are taking as well as providing us time to set up his new place. We will be able to visit him as often as we would like with masks on and a good physical distance. He has not been there long enough yet to partake in all of the opportunities they offer, but I have signed him up for an Octoberfest lunch and look forward to seeing how that goes.

Very pleased with [name removed] sharing his time and information. Had an excellent tour of the apartments and are very interested for my wife and myself.

I would tell my friends that they treat everyone with respect and they are very understanding. The rooms are the best in the area and they are like your own apartment. The rooms include a living room, bedroom, and your own bathroom. The price is great and comparable to other communities in the area. The service is very nice and the community is in an older building.

My mom and dad love it at Acoya the staff is friendly and you cannot go wrong with this community

The Garden Club has met all of my needs. I am very satisfied here. The staff is wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend The Garden Club to anyone.

Our first impression of Carmel Place was that it was a very nice looking community. The rooms provided are fine, and the food they served would be a four out of five stars. They had good portions and a nice variety.

Loved this community, large quadrants, we signed a lease to move! Good staff, friendly, and extra care from Bayada PT/OT and home care.

I love it there! Just moved to higher care.
